  1. Hi
    How can I add time slots to the calendar. I ant the client to book a day and a time slot.

    Thanks

    • Hello.

      The possibility to book for the specific time slots are possible at the Business Small and Business Medium versions. At these versions you can configure the time slots selections at the Booking > Settings > Fields page

      Please check more about the configuration of the time slots here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

  2. Hi there,

    Would like to use your small business plugin for a client of mine, but I need to be able to charge "per capita" on some ressources, that means that the ressource has a fixed cost, but if the customers are 4 people, the pricing should be "cost x 4" on the paypal page.
    Is it possible ?
    Change the currency from dollar to euros is also possible, right ?

    That's really the only point to clear out before buying your plugin. Good work by the way

    • Hello.

      Such feature is exist at the Business Medium and Business Large versions.

      If you will need to add additional costs, like tax or some other additional charges, which is depend from the selection of the selctboxes or checkboxes in the booking form, so then you can make this configuration:

      You can insert into the Booking form, at the Booking > Settings > Fields page some checkbox, like this:

      <p>Tax: [checkbox* my_tax ""]</p>

      or in some selectbox like this:

      [select visitors "1" "2" "3"]

      and at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page at the advanced cost management section for the option my_tax, set some additional cost.
      For example for the tax 6% you need to set value 106% there.

      Or if you want to add the fixed cost value to the selectbox options, you can set this value to this "visitors" :
      "1" = 100%
      "2" = 200%
      "3" = 300%

      Please test it at the live demos of those versions here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind regards.

  3. Hi,
    Using version: Business Medium
    I am using the calendar for a market stall booking and wanting the stall type added to the calendar when booked so other stall members can see what type of stalls have already booked.  I have added the field into the booking form but I wanted the stall type to then be added under the booked date on the calendar is this possible?
    Thank you

  4. Hi!

    In my booking form, some select field options are auto selected depening on other selected fields.

    I update an option like this:
    jQuery("select[name='name-here'] option:eq(1)").attr('selected', 'selected');

    But the cost is not updated. (It works when the user manually clicks an option)

    * How can I refresh the [cost_hint] with jQuery?

    • Hello,
      After the selections of the specific field you are need to execute this javascript function:

      showCostHintInsideBkForm(bk_type);

      where bk_type - its ID of the booking resource .

      • That didn´t work.

        Here´s my code, which it self works.
        The only problem is that the cost won´t update.

        jQuery(document).on("click", "input[name^='rent_mc']", function(){
        if (jQuery("input[name^='rent_mc']:checked").val()=='Textoption') {
        jQuery(".rent_mc").fadeIn();

        //Auto select alternative
        jQuery("select[name='rent_mc_167'] option:eq(1)").attr('selected', 'selected');
        jQuery("select[name='rent_mc_267'] option:eq(2)").attr('selected', 'selected');

        //Remove empty alternative
        jQuery("select[name='rent_mc_167']").removeOption(0);
        jQuery("select[name='rent_mc_267']").removeOption(0);

        //Refresh cost
        showCostHintInsideBkForm(67);

        } else {
        jQuery(".rent_mc").fadeOut();

        }
        })

        • Hello.
          Can you send the link to that page for retesting of this issue?

          • I used the contact form to send you the site. I don´t want the customer to find his site here when he search in Google 😉

            • Now it works.

              This was the answer was this as the Support said:

              showCostHintInsideBkForm(bk_type);

              THX!!!

  5. Hi,
    firstly thanks for the excellent plugin just what ive been looking for
    I have installed and configured  successfully but am getting a 404 Not Found error when hitting send on my site. I have redirected the thank-you page to one on my site to see if that would help but I get the same result. Can anyone tell me what else is called at that point?
    Many thanks
    Simon

    • Hello,
      Firstly, please set the link of thank you page to the page on your site, where is installed the plugin, and not the external.
      Please open the General Booking Settings page and recheck that URL of the "thank you" page is entered correctly, and you can open that URL in browser.
      If you are still will have this issue, please send the link to the page, where you are have this issue, and the screenshot of the General Booking Settings page.

  6. Hi,

    I'm using free version of this great plugin and I don't know if you support also free version. I have problem with view my reservation, I mean after reservation when I confirmed on AP, I can't see on first page any changes. I don't see on calendar that date is red, he stay green.
    I think everything on AP is setup right. Thx

    • Hello.
      Please recheck that you are do not have any cache plugins installed in your WordPress system. Or if you are have the cache plugin, please add the exception to the page with booking form.
      Also please try to change the skin of calendar at the General Booking Settings page, may be the approved and pending days in calendar in the selected skin have the same background color.
      Kind regards.

  7. Hi. I'm using the Professional version (9.Professional.2.2). I have 6 calendar resources, I use a separate page for each resource where I display the relevant calendar and booking form.

    I'd like to have an 'at a glance' page so my clients can see all of the calendars at once to quickly see which resource is available, Is there any way to have the calendar for each resource display on a single page *without* the booking forms?

    • Hello,
      You can insert the Booking Calendar (without the booking form) into the post or page, just select in the popup configuration dialog the availability calendar instead of the booking form.
      But if you are need to show all availability in one summary calendar, so unfortunately, this feature is not possible yet. Sorry.

      • Ah sorry, that was the other thing I meant to mention: when I click the Insert Booking Calendar button, nothing happens. My original pages use this shortcode: [booking nummonths=1 type=1]  but that also inserts the booking form. Can you tell me what the shortcode is for just the calendar without the form?

        • Please use this shortcode:

          [bookingcalendar nummonths=1 type=1]
  8. Hello,

    I'm using the free version of the plugin (4.0.2) with WordPress 3.5. When I try to change the thank you message for a thank you page I'm not able to save the change; WordPress show the Page "Ooops something happened here...". I've tried to clean the cache and re-install the plugin but the problem remain.
    The new thank you page exists and it's published.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks,

    Valentino

    • Hello.
      What the URL of the thank you page?
      Please try to change the URL to some other URL (to other page) and then try to save the settings. May be the problems in the specific symbols in URL.

      If the issue is still will exist
      so please recheck the error.log file in your server configuration to be sure in a reason of that issue.

      • Hi,
        thanks for the reply... unfortunately the URL seems not to be a problem: I've tried with all the published pages (all with simple words in lower case without symbols as for http://friendlyhouse.es/gracias or http://friendlyhouse.es/ubicacion) and the "page not found" error is still here. More, the error log in my server does not have any recording of this error. Last one is an error of January 26 (something in the header, that we fixed).
        Any other idea?

        Thanks,

        Valentino

        • Hello.
          So, is the error is appear after you are made the booking at the client side, or the error is in the admin panel, during saving the URL ?
          Can you send the screenshot of the General Booking Settings page and the link to the page with booking form at the client side, where you are have this issue ? You can send it to the support email.
          Also do you are use any cache plugins, if yes, please try to deactivate it and make a test.

          • Hi,
            the error is in the admin panel, when I try to insert the URL for the new thank you page. No cache plugin installed for this web. Everything is working well in Client side, I mean we can made a booking, we receive the info in admin and manage the booking itself without issues. The only problem is that we are not allowed to change the thank you message into a static page.
            I'll try to send the screenshot of the admin panel at the support email.

            Thanks,

            V.

            • Hello again,

              I've tried just for information to change another parameter in admin panel (the way the date is diplayed), and I've had the same problem (Page not found). It seems to me that all the admin panel is not working here. I'm using WP theme twenty eleven. Is there something I have to do regarding this theme?

              thanks,

              V.

              • Hello,
                Do you changed previously the permalink structure of the site ? Usually this issue is appear after that.
                Also, what is the name of the folder, where is installed the Booking Calendar (may be there is some non standard symbols).
                At least you will need to recheck with your administrator or support of hosting company about the security permissions or restrictions in sending the POST request in your site.

  9. Hi, I have problem with my translation. I´ve done translation in POEdit and it works well, but all the mails sent to admin mail (about new bookings), are still in English (I´ve made also translation of sentences used in this mail). Could you help me, if you know, where the problem is? Thanks in advance.
    Tom

    • Hello.
      If you are use the free version, so then you are need to make the FULL reinstall of the plugin, its because the email template and labels to the booking form is saved to the DB during activation of the plugin and you are need to make this reactivation. Its mean that the exist bookings and settings will be erased. Here is instruction how to check it or fix/add translations: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/make-translation-of-wp-plugin/

      If you are using the paid version of the Booking Calendar and need only the booking form labels at the client side of your site in different language, so you can customize the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page at top form. Please test it at the live demos here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/

  10. Hi!
    I´m using the Business Large version.
    For translations i´m using WPML.

    1.
    When a customer has made a booking I have chosen a specific Thank you page.
    But how can show the thank you page in the customers language?

    2.
    In Bookings->Settings->Emails, I have made custom emails for Approved, Declined and Payment Request.

    How can I handle the translation for this messages?

    Since this mails a sent when the admin clicks for example apporove, I wonder how the admin can choose the correct language for the current customer?

    • Hello.
      1) You are need to make a little fix for possibility to use the different URLs of the "thank you" page in different languages. You will be able to use the URLs in this format:
      URL_in_EN [lang=LOCALE] URL_in_other_language
      Example:
      http://server.com/thank-you-page [lang=fr_FR] http://server.com/fr/thank-you-page

      So please open this file: ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php
      find this code:

      var thank_you_page_URL = '<?php echo esc_js(__(get_bk_option( 'booking_thank_you_page_URL' ))); ?>';

      and replace it to this code:

                      <?php
                          $thank_you_URL =  get_bk_option( 'booking_thank_you_page_URL' ) ;
                          $thank_you_URL =  apply_bk_filter('wpdev_check_for_active_language', $thank_you_URL );
                      ?>
                      var thank_you_page_URL = '<?php echo esc_js(__( $thank_you_URL )); ?>';

      2) At the client booking form, you can use the special shortcodes for the having Booking form in several languages.
      You can configure the several form or email templates in different languages, using this shortcode:
      [lang=LOCALE] - (start new translation section, where LOCALE - locale of translation)

      Example #1: [lang=fr_FR] - start French tranlation section

      Example #2:

      "Thank you for your reservation.[lang=fr_FR]Je vous remercie de votre réservation."

      - English and French translation of some message

      So you can customize the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.

      So for example for the 2 languages: English and French you are need to have something like this:

              [calendar]
              <div style="text-align:left">
              <p>Time: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]</p>
              <p>First Name (required): [text* name] </p>
              <p>Last Name (required): [text* secondname] </p>
              <p>Email (required):  [email* email] </p>
              <p>Address (required):  [text* address] </p>
              <p>City(required):  [text* city] </p>
              <p>Post code(required):  [text* postcode] </p>
              <p>Country(required):  [country] </p>
              <p>Phone:  [text phone] </p>
              <p>Visitors:  [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"] Children: [checkbox children ""]</p>
              <p>Details: [textarea details] </p>
              <p>[captcha]</p>
              <p>[submit "Send"]</p>
              </div>
      [lang=fr_FR]
              [calendar]
              <div style="text-align:left">
              <p>Heure: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]</p>
              <p>Prénom (obligatoire):  [text* name] </p>
              <p>Deuxième prénom (requis) [text* secondname] </p>
              <p>Email (obligatoire)   [email* email] </p>
              <p>Adresse (obligatoire)   [text* address] </p>
              <p>Ville (requis)   [text* city] </p>
              <p>Code postal (obligatoire) [text* postcode] </p>
              <p>Pays (obligatoire)   [country] </p>
              <p>Téléphone :  [text phone] </p>
              <p>Visiteurs :  [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"] Enfants: [checkbox children ""]</p>
              <p>Détails : [textarea details] </p>
              <p>[captcha]</p>
              <p>[submit "Envoyer"]</p>
              </div>

      Please read more at the FAQ http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the translation section

        Works perfectly! - Will you include this in the next version of the plugin? Or do manually have to transfer this fix after next update?

        2
        Your sollution probably works when these mails autosends.

        But in this case, the administratior manually push the button "Approve" "Send payment request" etc
        This makes the mails use the language of the administrator, not the language of the one who made the booking.

        *How can the approve mails etc be sent in the language of the customer, even if the mail is sent manually by clicking approve etc, by the administrator?

        • Hello.
          1) yes, the fix will be included in the next update.
          2) unfortunately, right now the emails are sending in a language, which is active in admin panel in that moment. The possibility to send the email in a language, which was active during creation of the booking is not supported yet. We will add it to todo list.
