If my subscription for updates has expired or is canceled, will the plugin continue to work?

Yes, the plugin will continue to function as before, but you won't receive free updates for Booking Calendar.

While the plugin should work with your current WordPress version, there is a potential risk of conflicts with future WordPress updates. We can't predict the changes in future WordPress updates, and older plugin versions may experience issues.

To ensure the best performance, prevent potential compatibility or security issues, and keep your bookings safe, we strongly recommend keeping your Booking Calendar up-to-date and maintaining an active subscription for the latest updates and support.

Upon the initial purchase of the plugin, you can request free updates for your Booking Calendar version (if updates available) within 6 months after initial purchase of plugin. Additionally, alongside this purchase for receiving the latest update, you can activate an optional subscription at a discounted rate.

Optional Subscription for Updates:

1) When purchasing the plugin initially, you have the option to select or deselect an optional subscription for updates and support, billed every 6 months. For the first 6 months after the initial purchase, updates are provided for free. You can cancel this subscription at any time.

Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $5 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $10 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.     I just updated my booking calander multiuser today as was having problems with importing ics feeds, the update solved that problem but I now have another.

    You previously helped me some years ago change some code so that I was able to accepted a 3 night minimum on one resource and 1 night stays on another resource. The code you suggested I change was this code below(and I think that the code in there currently is what you mentioned I changed it too) but now it allows people to select 1 night stays on a 3 night minimum stay resource.

  2. I need help with two more things since the update and cannot find the information in your FAQ.

    Question 1:
    I used to be able to make it so guests could not book for todays date only future dates, and I could even specify a time of day that would be the cut off for bookings on the same day. This seems to have gone out of the setting page? or am I missing something?

    Question 2:
    on the admin side, specifically the bookings listings page...
    For imported bookings, one of my booking sources share the information of the booking under the 'details' heading. Previously on the booking listing page it all displayed in one line which was great as made it easier to scroll through bookings, now it shows on different lines so I have to scroll down quite a lot before getting to the next booking.
    That is more cosmetic I guess but is there a way to alter the display of the booking listing like there used to be?

    The settings page seems to have less options than it used to as I swear I could edit all of the above before with ease and now cannot find the areas to change the settings.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated

      • Ok so it looks like you removed the cut off time for same day bookings then and you can only select days? please correct me if I am wrong but the settings does not have as much options as it previously did.

        I have the multiuser version of booking manager and you sent me the download link today, I would like the same day booking cut off time re added if possible as its a very useful feature.

        For the second question I had I was more questioning how the information is displayed in the booking listing page right now there is a sentence gap between each line

        As you can imagine that made some bookings very large on the screen due to the imported data (from pitchup) going to a specified field via the booking manager plug in, where as it used be all in a line so the space taken up was smaller and made it easier to navigate the bookings.

        Maybe I am missing something but please clarify if possible

      If you about the checkbox in your booking form relative accepting terms and conditions. Then You can configure the required checkboxes in the booking form at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.

    I am interested in using your plugin for managing equipment bookings for a project. However, before proceeding with the purchase, I need to ascertain whether it is possible to disable payment entirely and hide all pricing information from the booking process. The purpose of this plugin for me is to facilitate the booking of equipment on a free basis, solely managing the availability of each equipment item without any monetary transactions involved. Could you kindly confirm if this customization is feasible with your plugin?

    Additionally, I am curious to know if there is an option to import/export the list of resources within the plugin?

      1) You can disable all payment gateways at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Gateways page.
      In this case, system will not show the Payment forms, after creation of the bookings at the front-end side.

      But in admin panel, you will still see the "Payment Gateways" menu option in Settings menu.
      Also some other menus relative to the costs.
      And you can see the cost field at the booking Listing page.

      So you can disable to not show any costs and payment forms only at front-end side, which will be visible to your visitors of the website.

      2) It is not possible to import / export info relative to the booking resources (calendars).

      But if you was mean info relative to the bookings, then You can export existing bookings to the CSV file in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
      You need to open the Booking Listing page, then at the Actions toolbar click on the "Export" button. After this you will be able to open a CSV file with bookings in MS Excel or some other applications.

      Also. Booking Calendar plugin is supporting
      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)
      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which are possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when a visitor opens your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcodes to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.

      Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.

  4. Hello there,

    Few days ago the plugin on my client's website was automatically updated (we have no idea how).

    I restored to a point before the update and now it seems that the plugin is downgraded from Medium plan to Small plan.

    We have lost the functionality that we needed.

    In the installed plugin there are 2 Booking Calendar plugins installed.

    The question is how could this happen?

    And, How do we restore our Business Single Site Medium plan?

    We already got one new booking today and we can't disable the plugin - cuz that will result in loss of money.

    We might have missed few booking while the error persisted.

    This is completely unreasonable and unacceptable.

    We have lost the option to set availability - currently we have date for booking only in the weekend - from Friday to Sunday. Those should only be visible as available/not available days and you should only be able book 3 days starting from Friday (you can not book starting from Saturday nor Sunday) which is not the case with the downgraded version of the plugin.

    It is also really annoying that I can't find a way to contact you via email - this is an urgent matter and it needs to be solved ASAP!

      1) It appears that the Booking Calendar plugin was automatically updated because you have auto-updates enabled in the WordPress > Plugins menu.
      Please ensure that the 'Enable auto-updates' option is disabled in the WordPress > Plugins menu.
      2) Your bookings should remain in the system, if the option for " Delete booking data, when plugin deactivated " was not enabled. This option is typically turned off, and activating it requires additional confirmation from the user's side
      3) The link for downloading your latest update was sent to your email address. Check it and update.

      If you are using some cache plugin such as like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache", etc... please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with a booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      It possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. You need to activate this option "Auto approve all incoming bookings" at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in "Auto Cancellation / Auto Approval" section.

          • Okay great thanks, we will look to purchase this. With this premium version, can they change availability for that day? E.g. Say it is March 28th and they have bookings from 9am to 2pm. If suddenly they can have to leave the office at 2pm, so the rest of the day is unavailable.. is this easy to change per day?

            So if they suddenly want an afternoon unavailable, that is easy for us to add?
