Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. Hey guys!

    I bought Booking Calendar WP for Small Business and I am having trouble getting the calendar-box to translate into Norwegian.
    I tried changing the wordpress language to French, and it does auto-translate. But when I change back to Norwegian it defaults back to English. I have been inside the language zip and looked at the translation file for Norwegian and it seems to have the right translations for months and weekdays.

    I have tried requesting and updating to v.7.0.1, deleted my cache and tried on both Chrome and Safari. Still no luck.

      I was retested it. An if I will activate at my website this language "Norsk bokmål" then evrything is working fine.

      I can have this suggestion.
      Please try to rename this file jquery.datepick-no.js to this jquery.datepick-NO.js
      Its located inside of ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/js/datepick/

      May be issue because of PHP Case Insensitive checking.

  2. Greetings I'm running Business Medium SingleSite 7.0
    I have my resources setup for booking for specific days / times.
    I'm using season filters to make the resources available on certain days.
    I'm trying to configure the system so a customer could book any of the resources for one of the times available and pay the fee. If they then choose to book a different resource during the same seasonal filter, they don't pay the fee again.

    I don't see this is an option. Can this be accomplished?

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, such feature of ability to not pay fee if the customer try to book days in your calendar second time, does not available in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.

      As some workarround, it can be using "Coupon codes" for discounts in the Booking Calendar Business Large version. Check here:
      So you can send in email about new booking or approving booking email, the coupon code for your visitor with 100% discount.
      But please note, coupon codes can not depend from the season filter, and will apply to any days in your calendar.

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

  3. Hello! Business.Small.SingleSite.
    If I make a booking, I get notification email with the modification link.
    I try to modify the booking, and change something. I press button and get 500 server error.
    As a customer I do not get email about changing. But in database the booking has changing.

    Also I can not use the modification link at the second time - hash expired. As a customer I can modify my booking only once?

    • Hello.

      1) Relative error 500. Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration about any relative errors. There have to be description about error.
      Probably error relative to sending of emails. You can check this troubleshooting instruction

      2) Yes, during editing the booking the previous HASH for editing is updating, so old hash is not valid anymore. But in email template about "modification" of booking you can send new link for editing this booking to visitor.

  4. Does the Booking TimeLine form (shortcode [bookingtimeline]) allow to view a booking detailes and manage the booking's status?

    • Hello.
      Its allow only to view booking details (but its does not have functionality for managing bookings).
      You can activate and configure to show booking details in your TimeLine at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Listing section.

  5. Hello! Business.Small.SingleSite.
    One important thing I found.
    Language of the emails which the plugin sends to customers depends not from customer locale but from locale of admin panel.
    So, I should change my admin panel locale on russian to approve a booking from russians for example. Only in this case my customer get message on his language. This is about approving, declining, cancelling, deleting of bookings.
    How to avoid this?

      In the admin panel at the Booking Listing page, you can click on "Change Language" button near specific booking, then you can approve or decline booking in specific language.

          No, you do not need to change language of entire admin panel.
          Before approving booking by clicking on "language" button (you can find this button in button list UNDER specific booking), you can set lanaguge of emails, and then approve booking .

          • There is no the language button on pop-up panels, but I can approve the booking there.
            Can you store the booking initial locale and use it as default value of language for emails?

      • Some times not possible to understand which language used the customer if he used an english data on the form fields. In this case booking data not reflects the customer's language.

    I'm trying to use Booking Calendar for patient booking. I'm currently trying free version. When I try to reject any appointment the text that I wrote under Reason for cancellation does seems to be appended in the final email that goes for cancellation.

    Can you please help me to understand what is going wrong here.

    I bought Booking Calendar Personal version, but I have some problems with the languages used in the emails.
    The email after booking is in the right language (German or English), but if I accept or decline a booking the email will only be send in German. I already used the translation [lang=en_US] in my email template.

    • Hello.
      1) Please open the Booking Listing page.
      Then find your specific booking,
      in button list (under booking details), you can find the "Change Language" button (its button with 'Earth' icon), when you click on this button, you can change active locale, then you can approve or decline this specific booking. Email have to send in specific language.

      2) Other issue, can be that the English language is default language in Booking Calendar. So you need to configure your emails and booking form in a way like this:

      ... English configuration ...   
      ... German configuration ...

  8. Hi,
    I'm running WP Booking Calendar (version booking.personal.6.2 ) on a WordPress 3.7.3 version.
    Since few days I have the following problems: after a user has filled the booking form, he/she click on "Send" to send the reservation, but the system shows the "waiting wheel" and doesn't proceed.
    I didn't update anything since last correct reservation, but maybe a collegue has updated to the last WP version.
    Do you think there is conflict with WP version?

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors. And if found, please try to fix them.
      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

      2) Also please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

      3) You can also try to update your version of plugin to the latest update 7.0

          You need to check your error.log or server configuration about reason of this error.

          • Thank you for the fast answer!
            The "504 Gateway Timeout" is due to the low performance of the staging server; the real site is on a better server and this message doesn't appear.
            If you tell me that I can find the solution updating to 7.0 I can proceed, no problem, .... but I need to give some explanations to my boss (infact our version is older than 6 months so we need to buy the new version).
            So, could you give me some elements? (eg. browser incompatibility ...) I remember you that we didn't any modification in the last period, but the booking system stopped to work last week.
