  1. How can I change the dates in an already approved booking please (I need to free up just one of the dates - rest of booking is fine)? Am using the Personal Single Site version.

    • Hello.
      In the paid Booking Calendar Personal version you need to open the Booking Listing page then click on edit button near specific booking, after this you will be able reselect dates or change booking details.

    For my business it's important to set a length of the appointment of 20 minutes. It that possible in the booking plugin?

    • Hello.

      Yes, its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions to set time duration for bookings as 20 minutes,
      and also to use start time selection in booking form.

      The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

      You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

  3. Hi

    Another pre sales question. If somebody makes an booking, is it possible to choose between the options for an appointment. I mean somebody wants to make a booking for a date. The booking can have several reasons, A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Is it possible to choose between the options of reason in the booking?

    • Hello.
      1) You can configure different form fields in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page. All values that selected in booking form will be saved relative to specific booking. Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

      You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages.       Its possible to have such type of form customization in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.

      In these versions of Booking Calendar please open the Booking > Settings > Fields page, then in the action toolbar, select "2 Columns form template" and click on "Reset" (or "Both") button, to reset the exist booking form customization to the default one. Save the changes.

    1. Is there a way to have a "pay" button instead of paypal button that will redirect to a new page where different payment options would be offered such as paypal, authorize.net etc?

    2. If check in/out dates are less than 30 days, provide a bank transfer payment instead of paypal:
    = 30 days - Paypal, Bank transfer and Authorize or any additional payment

    • Hello.

      1) Currently Booking Calendar support several payment gateways, depend from active payment gateway at the Booking > Settings > Payment page, specific "Pay Now" button will show after visitor submit the booking. So visitor click on "Send" button in booking form for submitting booking, and then at this page will show "Pay Now with authorize.net" button, if you have activated authorize.net payment gateway at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like PayPal or Sage Pay gateways. Please check more about this here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

      2) Sorry, such different showing payment option depend form selected days, does not possible in actual versions of Booking Calendar.

      greater or equal to 30 days - accept paypal, bank transfer or any other payment

        Relative to first question. Its does not possible to redirect visitor to new page and show payment forms at this new page. Sorry. Its possible to show such payment systems only after visitor submit the booking at the same page, in actual versions.

        Or, you can deactivate all payment systems. And then manually send payment request by email (from the Booking Listing page) to visitor.

            You can use shortcode for coupons only in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page. In a way like this:

            [coupon mycoupon]

            And then in the "Content of booking fields data" form use this:

            [mycoupon]

            Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

            • but how can i display the discounted price in the payment form?

              I want to display the original cost of the booking(price before coupon discount) and then in a separate field, a coupon discount inserted by a shortcode. how can I achieve this?

              Moreover I want to know for which resources a coupon have been used as well. I saw that on the coupon page, everytime a coupon have been used, the specified number reduces.

              • Hello.

                In the booking form you can use this shortcode [cost_hint] for showing cost hint about cost and discount.
                But unfortunately, in the emails or in booking listing page does not possible to show original and discounted cost. there possible to show only final cost of booking.

    For example on one page I would like to have the booking form with 2 different products/resources?

    I have a paid version of Booking Calendar, I would like to know how can we oblige to give a reason when we refuse a reservation, otherwise we can not cancel it.
    Several persons are working on Booking Calendar and most of them don't give a reason why the reservation has been cancel or use the auto-answer, therefore I'll like to enforce a personal answer for each cancel action.
    Can we do it? and how?

      By default it's does not possible.
      But I can suggest following workaround.
      In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions of Booking Calendar you can create new custom form, where ypu will have new texture field, where you visitors will be able to enter reason of cancelation.

      So in usually pages you will use booking form without this field and in custom form (it's can be default) to have yhis additinal texture element.

  8. Hi Support.

    I have recently upgraded to Business Medium in order to be able to control our bookings better and to make on-line payments available to my users. In the process I've searched the forum for a number of issues, that I hope to implement, but can't seem to find solutions for. I hope You can assist me, or point me in the right direction.

    My solution has only one resource (a common house in our union of land owners), but with different rates for mon-thur and fri-sun. Furthermore there is a use, where a booking should return a rate of '0', when it is booked for common use (as opposed to private use)
    My issues are as follows:
    1. How do I make a condition from a checkbox on the booking form. If it is 'unchecked' the rate should be 0 in stead of 200/500 (cf. rates mentioned above)?
    2. As mentioned, our rates is 200/500, but when these are sent to PayPal they are doubled. So far I have made a manual correction to 100/250 - but this makes use of 'mouseover showing rates' unusable. Have you seen this problem before?
    3. As we are behind a password protected page, I would like to make it possible to see who has made a booking in a mouseover on a booked date. Is this possible?
    4. If a user is to book several dates (e.g. a recurring yoga class) - how is this possible?

    I hope this is part of your support - as we are very fond of the booking calendar plug-in and hope to elevate our use of it.

    • Hello.
      1) You can configure different seasons (days during a year(s)) at the Booking > Resources > Filters page.
      And then at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on "Rate button" you can define the different rates for the different days.

      Please note, in case, if you need to define the cost as 0, you can use some checkbox in the booking form, and then at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page define value for this checkbox option as "0 % of total cost".

      Of course its better, in such situation, to use "coupon codes" for discounts, where visitor can enter coupon code and get cost as 0, but its only available in the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version. And in the Booking Calendar Business Medium version its only the way to make such trick with check box or selectbox option as in above description.

      2) I do not sure that clearly understand about this issue. You can check how is configured rates in Booking Calendar Business Medium version live demo here http://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com in admin panel for the booking resource: "Resource #3" at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates > Rates page.
      If you still will have this issue, please send screenshot of your Rates configuration and link to the page with booking form to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

      3) Its possible to show such info in time-lines, like in this live demo http://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
      You can activate to showing booking data in mouse over tooltips at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Listing section.

      4) Visitor need to select each specific date, where he/she need to make booking. Its does not possible to select only one Monday and to "say" to book each next Monday during next 2 months. Visitor need to select each day in calendar.
      Please note, if you have making booking for specific timeslots in these days, so then you need to activate this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the Booking > Settings General page.

      • Thank you very much for a swift reply. It has taken some time and trial-and-error to get it right, but now I think I've got most of it right.

        1) It took quite some effort to get it to work, but finally I managed to solve the double-negative of the checked/not checked boxes and to get it right. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
        2) I finally figured out, what was wrong. There was a deposit hidden in the cost page, that defaulted to 50%, so my number didn't add up right. But, after I deleted the deposit, everything summed up correctly.
        4) Easy to set up using multiple days - thanks for pointing that out 🙂

        But - no 3): I think you misunderstood me. I am aware of the mouseover in the administrationspages (booking listing), but what I am trying to achieve is for the end-user to have a mouseover on the booking calendar, where he/she can see the telephonenumber of the user, that has booked for that particular date. Is that possible?

          If you need to make the booking for specific timeslot, so then you need to check that check in/out times feature was deactivated (unchecked) at the Booking > Settings General page
          And then you will be need to add times fields at the Booking > Settings General page. The visitor can see booked time-slots at specific day, when mouse over specific such day.

            What I want to know is how I can have a customer search to see if a particular time slot is available. Since your availability search can only search by day blocks I need insight on how to create the same basic functionality as the current availability search but have it break down results by day and time slot.

              Actual versions of Booking Calendar does not support search availability by specific time-slots. It can make searching only by available days. If some timeslot during the day are booked, so then this item will not show in search results as available.

              You can see booked times, in mouse over tooltips in inline month view calendar.

              Also you can insert to some post or page, the timeline (http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/ ). Timeline is show booked days or times for several booking resources. Also you can to define links for booking resource titles in TimeLine. Example:

              [bookingtimeline ... options='{resource_link 3="http://your-server.com/resource-apartment3-id3/"},{resource_link 4="http://your-server.com/resource-3-id4/"}' ... ]
