    • Hello.

      You can not select selectbox options in mobile browser because of CSS conflict with your actual theme. Please try to make this fix.
      Please open this file https://pimp-reparaturen.ch/wp-content/plugins/booking/css/client.css

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then find this code:

      @media (max-width: 782px) {
          .wpdevelop input[type="text"],
          .wpdevelop select{
              font-size: 1.1em;
              height: 36px;                                                           /* FixIn: 7.2.0.2 */
              padding: 4px 8px;
          }
      }

      and replace it to this code:

      @media (max-width: 782px) {
          .wpdevelop input[type="text"],
          .wpdevelop select{
              font-size: 1.1em;
              height: 36px;                                                           /* FixIn: 7.2.0.2 */
              padding: 4px 8px;
          }
          .widget_bookingwidget {
              z-index: 9999999999;
              position: relative;
          }
      }

      Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.
      Kind Regards.

  1. I have purchased and installed the medium business version of the booking software and plan on doing so again for another site soon. There is an issue in the admin that I would like some help solving. On the booking page, in the toolbar section, the glyphicons are not showing up as readable. I am using Firefox and Chrome on Kubuntu Linux. Is there a way to make them readable?

    • Hello.
      Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin.

      1) Firstly please be sure that you are using latest update 7.2
      You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.

      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

      • Ah, it is a conflict with the theme. is there anything that I can do besides change theme?

        • Hello.
          Please try to recheck may be somewhere in the settings of this theme possible to deactivate loading of those "glyphicons" library for this theme.
          Otherwise its ill require customization of the theme for do not load this library (probably in the functions.php file) or to use other theme.
          You can check more with support of that theme.
          Kind Regards.

  2. Hello,

    I would like to display only resources available when I want to change a resource in a booking from the admin.

    Actually, when I want to change a resource, all the resources are displayed, even those which are already booked.
    Then it's very difficult to select a new resource available in the entire list of the resources.

    Could you help me please?

    Thanks a lot

    Hélène

    • Hello.
      I will add to the todo list this feature. Currently the checking only available resources for each booking will impact to the speed of page loading, so such checking have to be in Ajax request only during seletion of changing booking resources for booking.
      It's will be available in some future updates. Currently I can not say when exactly. Thank you for understanding.
      Kind Regards.

  3. Is there a way to have add-on options for booking customers, for example 'add an additional person for $xx.xx'?

      • The only thing that is happening now is that I have 3 advanced settings and one of them is not adding the additional cost.

        • Hello.

          You can add additional cost for selected options from your selectboxes or checkboxes at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
          Please check more here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost

          If you do not see some options from selectbox at that page, pleas recheck that you correctly configured the selectbox shortcode at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
          Kind Regards.

  4. I really need some help. I have been trying to add in advanced payment options such as an additional bedding fee and additional guests to https://www.indigofarmsolympia.com/domegaia-workshop-august-1-2017. The forms were working perfectly before, now instead of going to the paypal button, the space is booked and it gives this message at the bottom of the form:

    [F:/wpbc-booking-new.php| L:326|V:9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.7.2| DB:Duplicate entry 34-2017-08-03 00:00:00 for key booking_id_dates::INSERT INTO a4a9_bookingdates (booking_id, booking_date, approved) VALUES (34, 2017-08-03 00:00:00, 0 ), (34, 2017-08-03 00:00:00, 0 )]

    Why is it doing this???

    • I tried it again and got this error:

      Error during inserting into BD - Dates
      [F:/wpbc-booking-new.php| L:326|V:9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.7.2| DB:Duplicate entry 35-2017-08-01 00:00:00 for key booking_id_dates::INSERT INTO a4a9_bookingdates (booking_id, booking_date, approved) VALUES (35, 2017-08-01 00:00:00, 0 ), (35, 2017-08-01 00:00:00, 0 ), (35, 2017-08-02 00:00:00, 0 ), (35, 2017-08-02 00:00:00, 0 ), (35, 2017-08-03 00:00:00, 0 ), (35, 2017-08-03 00:00:00, 0 )]

    • Hello.
      Please open the Booking > Settings General page and recheck that you have not activated this option: "Use check in/out time". If you have activated this option, then you need to set check in and check out times different than each other, like this: "Check in": 14:00 and "Check out": 12:00
      Also if you are using this option, then you need to select minimum 2 dates in calendar. Please check more here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#change-over-days

      Otherwise, if you have not activated above option, then please open the Booking > Settings > Form page and recheck for any time shortcode in booking form. You need to configure your time shortcode correctly, because right now its seems it configured incorrectly, because start and end time is defined as 00:00. Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
      Kind Regards.

  5. Hello,
    I have purchased and installed yesterday the medium business version.
    I was able to easily set up your plug-in, it is really very well explained and simple ... however I encounter a problem that will seem to you stupid ... before replacing on my website my current calendar, I have to update my calendars (3 rooms therefore 3 calendars), and indicate the days that are already booked for example. I do not find how to do it simply ... what is the fastest method? filters?
    What is the easiest way to update my calendars? I do not find, for the moment ... it is through the filters that I can update the calendar of my rooms? Maybe I'm stupid enough to be by the side of something simple, I'm sorry for that ...

    • Hello.
      You can define your dates as unavailable in specific calendars by using specific season filters.
      1) So firstly you need to define specific date(s) as season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page.
      2) And then you can set specific season(s) to specific booking resource(s) as unavailable at the Booking > Resources > Availability page.

      Other way todo this, its by making "bank bookings" at the Booking > Add booking page. The fastest way todo this, its select specific date(s) and then click on "Auto fill" button at the top right side of toolbar.
      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you very much for your quick response and for your help. I have been able to add my current reservations to my new Booking Calendar calendars.

        However, I have a problem - whichever of the two methods I use, the dates I add don't appear in the correct colour for booked dates:

        - in using the filters, the booked dates that I add appear in the colour for non-available dates (i.e. as if they are dates when we are closed). Is it possible to change this so that these dates appear in the colour for booked dates?

        - when using your second solution "bank booking", the booked dates that I add appear in the colour for reservations pending - so the same question, is it possible to make them appear in the colour for booked dates?

        King regards

        • Hello.

          1) For setting the same color as "approved/booked" dates for your unavailable days you will need to make this customization in your actual calendar skin.
          For example, if you have selected "MultiDays" calendar skin at the Booking > Settings General page, then you need to make this fix:
          Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/skins/multidays.css

          ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

          then add this code to the bottom of this file:

          .datepick-unselectable.date_user_unavailable {
              background-color: #F50;
              color:#FFF;
          }

          Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.

          If you are using some other calendar, skin, so then you need to edit other CSS file, relative to your calendar skin name, and set different colors here:

              background-color: #F50;
              color:#FFF;

          Check more about editing of calendar skins here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/change-skin-and-colors/

          2) Relative setting the same color for your "blank" bookings, so you just need to approve these "blank" bookings at the Booking Listing page.
          Kind Regards.

  6. Hi there,

    I have an question about time schedule. I would like to import something that my custumors can set on how late they want to arrive. I think i looked over the option. Can you tell me where i can set this on?

    With kind regards,

    • Hello.

      If you need to make bookings for specific time(s) during selected date, so then The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

      You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      Kind Regards.

  7. Hi again, thank you for all of the awesome support. I am still experiencing one problem with the advanced cost section of the medium business package. here is the short code portion of my form:

    Would you like us to provide bedding for an additional $12.50 per night? (two sheets pillow sleeping bag or blanket two wash cloths bath and hand towels: [checkbox bedding_opt "Yes"]
    Lodging rates are for individuals per night. Total number of people: [select* additional_person "1" "2" "3" "4"]
    If you come alone, you may be assigned a roommate of the same gender.
    Workshop participants may guarantee their individual privacy by adding $50
    a night. Yes, reserve the whole space: [checkbox private_res "yes"]
    Details: [textarea details]

    In the advanced cost section I have private_res set to $50 per night but when I run a reservation this selection is not added to the total cost. the bedding_opt is and additional_person is.

    Why is this happening?

    • Hello.

      Try to use instead of this shortcode:

      [checkbox private_res "yes"]

      this one

      [checkbox private_res ""]

      .
      Also please be sure that there is no any other field with the same name "private_res" in the booking form.
      Then open the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page and reenter additional cost for this option. Save the changes and test it.
      Kind Regards.

  8. Hi,
    Is there a way to get a tracking in the bokings ?
    For exemple we make an emailing campaing, with a tracking in the URL (like ?tracking=xxx).
    Is it possible to recover this code (xxx) in the booking (to know from where is it coming from) ?
    Thanks,
    Kind Regards,
    Nicolas

    • Hello.
      You can have in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page some hidden field like this:

      <div style="display:none;" class="my_tracking">[text my_tracking ""]</div>

      and in the "Content of booking fields data" form at Booking > Settings > Form page:

      Tracking: [my_tracking]

      And also to have in the content of post or page the JavaScript code like this:

      <script type="text/javascript">
      // Fucntion  from here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19491336/get-url-parameter-jquery-or-how-to-get-query-string-values-in-js
      var getUrlParameter = function getUrlParameter(sParam) {
          var sPageURL = decodeURIComponent(window.location.search.substring(1)),
              sURLVariables = sPageURL.split('&'),
              sParameterName,
              i;

          for (i = 0; i < sURLVariables.length; i++) {
              sParameterName = sURLVariables[i].split('=');

              if (sParameterName[0] === sParam) {
                  return sParameterName[1] === undefined ? true : sParameterName[1];
              }
          }
      };
      jQuery(document).ready(function(){
          var param_track = getUrlParameter('tracking');
          jQuery( '.my_tracking input' ).val( param_track );
      });
      </script>
