  1. Hello, I have a booking form set up here: https://www.riffelakecampgroundwa.com/reserve-a-tent-space

    For some reason if I try to book just one day is gives me an error saying that I need to select a check in and check out day, but that is not how it should work. (if I select two days it charges for two days which is how it should work, but I should be able to select one day) I can't find the setting to fix this. Can you please help?

      • Hello.
        Probabaly you have activated using check in/out times (change over days) at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.
        Check more about this feature here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#change-over-days
        This feature require to select minimum 2 days.

        You need to activate the "range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks and set minimum days selection as 2 days". You can configure it at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.
        Kind Regards.

  2. Hi Support,

    I have the google calendar snynched with my booking calendar, version 7.2 business large.
    Booking calendar synchs find when adding an event to google calendar, no issues there.
    However, when an event is removed from the google calendar, the booking is not removed from booking calendar.

    Auto approve and auto cancel are both enabled.

    Any advise on how to automate the removal of a booking between google calendar & booking calendar?

    Thanks!

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, the auto removal of booking if the event deleted from Google Calendar does not support.
      Booking Calendar support only Import of events from the Google Calendar, but it does not support removing of bookings from the Booking Calendar if the event deleted in the Google Calendar. Sorry.
      Kind Regards.

  3. Hello, when I add bookings in the calendar, it is not showing up on my website calendar as booked. Please help

    • Hello.

      If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      Kind Regards.

  4. I double checked and that option was unchecked.

    So I add a booking, approve it and it shows up in the calendar in the booking section, but not on the actual website. The booked date still shows as available in the calendar.

    • Hello.
      Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      You can try to deactivate all your plugins one by one and test it. So for checking about reason of that issue.
      Thank you.

  5. Hello, just a question.
    I downloaded the free version, ¿this is a trial version and some settings in a time will be disable?

    • Hello.
      1) No, the Booking Calendar Free version does not trial, and its does not have some functionality that expire after specific time.
      Its just does not have some functionality that exist in the paid versions.

      In the Booking Calendar Free version, you can activate this option "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)" at the Booking > Settings General page in advanced section, and then to use some selectbox at the Booking > Settings > Form page for selection of times options to book. But please note, its means that days in calendar always will be free and you will not have checking about overbookings.

      2) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

      You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

  6. Hello,

    Is it possible to use the "Different form fields, for the different week days" tag to add cost for specific days? such as, on August 21st and 22nd add 25$ to the cost of every booking. Or is there a different way to do this?

    • Hello.
      the ability to define different cost for the days that belong to the different seasons, possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Please check more about this here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#rates
      You can set rates for your booking resources at Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on Rate button.
      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you. That worked, but it wasn't exactly what the client wanted. I can't tell if this is possible to do, but here is the situation:

        There are two weekend days that can be booked. If the customer books either one of them or both of them there should be an added fee of $25, but not $25 for each day if they book both of them. And only on those specific dates.

        Is there a way to do that?

        • Hello.
          Ok, I understand. Such configuration possible, only if the visitor select such day as start day (check in day).
          You can define these days belonging to the specific season filter at the Booking > Resources > Filters page.
          And then you can use this instruction http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/different-content-for-different-days-selection/
          for adding additional filed (in our case, its can be checked by default checkbox or selectbox with one item),
          and then you can set additional cost for the option from that checkbox/selectbox at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.

          But its will work only if the visitor select that day as check in (start) day.
          Otherwise its does not possible. sorry.
          Kind Regards.

          • Hello again. I have suddenly run into a problem. The page that I have the booking plugin set up on has stopped resolving. If I remove the booking plugin, the page comes up right away. I need some immediate help.

            • Hello.
              Probably you are having some JavaScript or PHP errors at that page.

              1) Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
              You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

              You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
              If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

              If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.

              2) Also please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors.
              If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

              Kind Regards.

              • This is the error in the error log:
                mod_fcgid: domain=www.riffelakecampgroundwa.com too many /dh/cgi-system/php56.cgi processes, skip the spawn request

                • Hello.
                  How many booking forms for differnt booking resources you have inserted into one page ? Or may be you have inserted selection of booking resources shortcode, which have too many booking resources, and because of that your server too load.
                  Please try to insert booking forms for differnt booking resources into the differnt page. Or otherwise please contact support of your hosting about reconfiguration of your server for fixing of that error.

  7. Hello,

    One difficulty that I have seen with both times I have used WPBC is that customers get confused after they click "Send". It is not clear what they are supposed to do next and breaks the rule of 'Don't make them think'. I have added big red text with an arrow "PAY HERE NOW" and made the payment button bigger and still people are confused. Is there a way to make the payment area a popup window or on a separate page ?

    • Hello.
      If you are using "PayPal as payment gateway" so then you can make customization for having auto-redirect to the "PayPal" website, after visitor submit the booking.
      So for having this functionality, please make this fix.
      Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc\gateways\paypal\wpbc-gw-paypal.php

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then find this code:

              $payment_form = ob_get_clean();

              // Auto redirect to the PayPal website, after visitor clicked on "Send" button. We do not need to return this Script, instead of that just write it here
              /*
              ?><script type='text/javascript'>
                  setTimeout(function() {
                     jQuery("#gateway_payment_forms<?php echo $params['resource_id']; ?> .paypal_div.wpbc-payment-form form").submit();
                  }, 500);
              </script><?php /**/

              return $output . $payment_form;

      and replace it to this code:

              $payment_form = ob_get_clean();

              // Auto redirect to the PayPal
              ?><script type='text/javascript'>
                  setTimeout(function() {
                     jQuery("#gateway_payment_forms<?php echo $params['resource_id']; ?> .paypal_div.wpbc-payment-form form").submit();
                  }, 500);
              </script><?php /**/

              return $output . $payment_form;

      Kind Regards.

        • Hello.

          Ok, then make this fix.
          Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc\gateways\authorizenet\wpbc-gw-authorizenet.php

          ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

          then find this code:

                  /*
                  ?><script type='text/javascript'>
                      setTimeout(function() {
                         jQuery("#gateway_payment_forms<?php echo $params['resource_id']; ?> .authorizenet_div.wpbc-payment-form form").submit();
                      }, 500);
                  </script><?php /**/

          and replace it to this code:

                  ?><script type='text/javascript'>
                      setTimeout(function() {
                         jQuery("#gateway_payment_forms<?php echo $params['resource_id']; ?> .authorizenet_div.wpbc-payment-form form").submit();
                      }, 500);
                  </script><?php /**/

          Kind Regards.

  8. hi, i was wondering if this program is able to synch to my extra network, like booking.com or expedia, is there any way this could be possible?

    • Hello.

      Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support synchronize bookings with other websites, like airbnb, booking.com, homeaway, tripadvisor or vrbo.
      Also plugin does not support importing/exporting to ical/ics, yet. Sorry.

      These features exist in out TODO list for future updates and have high priority. We are working currently for implementation of such feature.

      Actual versions of Booking Calendar support import of events from Google Calendar to Booking Calendar.
      Also manual export of booking (by clicking on link) to Google Calendar.
      Paid versions of plugin support of export bookings to the CSV files (which possible to open in MS Excel or some similar applications).

      You can check overview of different Booking Calendar versions at this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

      Also you can test live demos http://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind Regards.

  9. Hi there,

    The company I'm working for are asking whether it would be possible if using the premium or paid for version of your plugin, you could search rooms based on availability from the front end (as in from a web page) with a premium licence? So say, for a staff intranet, if you had 20 rooms, could you put a date on a calendar and have it show you all the rooms which are available?

    Thanks a lot for your time

  10. Do I have to pay the full $249 when upgrading from business small to business medium, or can I pay the difference of $100 to get it?
