  1. How to locate where the reservation comes from ?, when I add a user a reservation, in the plugin does not let me see where it comes from the same reservation. regards

      Sorry, I do not sure that clearly understand your question.

      Do you ask how to show name of booking resource, which was booked in the email template ? If yes, so you can use this shortcode: [bookingtype]

      If you are using Booking Calendar MultiUser version and your question about users, so can you explain more detail about that in some example ?

      • In the system arrive reservations with identification data correctly, but it does not tell me what property comes the reservation, will there be a configuration that tells me what property comes the reservation?

          In the terms of Booking Calendar the "properties" its "booking resources".

          Please note, the Booking Calendar Free version have only 1 default booking resource, that's why its does not have Booking > Resources page. And in this version you just can use selectbox in the Booking > Settings > Form page for selecting and saving option to the booking.

          The ability to have independent calendars possible in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.

          Please read firstly the general instruction about usage of paid versions of Booking Calendar:

          You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here

          And in the paid versions the showing booking resources at the admin panel you can see them at the specific field at the Booking Listing page.

          In the emails, you can use [bookingtype] shortcode for showing title of booked booking resource.

  2. Hello
    I am having trouble adding bookings to new site that already exist?
    It is sending new messages to previously booked clients.

    Also it is not letting me add "from" - "to" dates by clicking the 2 dates.
    Do I need to select every date one at a time?

  3. Hello, I have discovered another strange anomaly. on if you look at all of the resources, the fee is increased by $25 for July 26, 27, and 28. I do not have any season filters set for those days. I did set a season filter for 4 days in August, but I removed it because it didn't work the way we needed it to. Why would it be doing that?

      Sorry for delay with reply to you.
      1) First of all the ability to set different cost for different days during different seasons possible only at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on "Rate" button.
      So please recheck Rates of that specific booking resource. May be you was set some rates for specific dates.

      2) If you can see the higher cost for those days, when you logged in only, so then its seems like issue relative to some cache plugin.
      Please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      • Thank you for the reply. The higher rates are there if I am logged in or not. There is only one seasonal rate set for all of the spaces and that is an off season rate that lowers the price. I had set up a $25 rate increase for August 4, 5, 25, an 26, but I deleted it. so there should not be anything for the July dates.

          Please send screenshot of your cost configuration from Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page under Rates and "Valuation days" tabs for your specific booking resource, and link to the page with booking form, where do you have an issue to the support @

      You can add timeslots selections or entering to your booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher version.

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page. for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here

      You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

  4. Hello, I've just upgraded my calendar from business small to business medium, however my calendar still shows as business small, how do I download the business medium? I have already paid.

      Please open this file

      then add this code to the bottom of that file.

        However, after I submit the form, on the confirmation/payment page, the text that is inputted into the boxes shows up in white color on the confirmation page. I can't seem to add an attachment here to show you, but if you are able to submit a test booking you will see on the next page that the booking details show in white color.

        How can I fix this now?

            Now I noticed if I fill out the form...get to the confirmation page, BUT haven't paid yet, the confirmation email still comes through. We technically don't want the confirmation email to go through until the payment is made. Is this possible?

            Also, we would like each weekend to be limited to 5 bookings right now. But it seems to be unavailable after only 1 booking. How do we adjust this? After a weekend date is booked up, can we have the legend color box showing "unavailable"?

            A few more questions we're trying to resolve -

            1) Can we have particular dates show a hover box on the calendar (showing Toronto, NYC, Ottawa). We are teaching in each city for particular dates and if it could hover as a bubble over the date or show on the calendar somehow under the date that would be ideal.
            2) If the above is possible... Is it possible to charge CAD currency for bookings in Canada, and US currency if someone selects NYC dates?

            • Hello.
              1) The booking is saved to the database, and its means dates become unavailable, when visitor click on "send" button on booking form. And its means that dates become unavailable before visitor (can click on Pay now link or can close page) will be redirected to the payment form.
              You can activate the "auto cancellation" feature after specific amount of time at the General Booking Settings page. So if the booking is not approved, and do not have the successfully payed status, this booking can be auto canceled after specific amount of time.
              But you are need to be sure that all "good" bookings have to be approved or have the successfully payed status. Because if you are using the PayPal standard integration and your visitors is made the payment for the booking, but do not click on the "return link" on PayPal site to your site, so Booking Calendar do not know that the payment is successful, and this booking can be auto canceled with that feature.
              So sometimes its possible that the successfully payed bookings will not have this status and that's why can be auto-canceled, if you do not approve them. Ideally (for PayPal) you will be need to activate and correctly configure the PayPal IPN system, at the Booking > Settings > Payment page and in the PayPal account. So in this case the PayPal have to send the messages directly to your booking system.

              2) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here
              At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource - entire calendar, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation). Also we highly recommend to check this article about different configuration of capacity and availability
              You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

              Also in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to set specific dates as unavailable based on seasons or weekdays. Please check more here

              3) Unfortunately its does not possible to show in popover some text info. But based on your question, its seems that you have misunderstanding booking resources concept.
              Booking resources - its unique calendars, your cites, etc. Please check more here

              4) Its possible to set different currency for the different booking resources - calendars only in the Booking Calendar MultiUser version, where you can activate different booking admin panel for different users, and then configure different settings, like currency and payment. Each such activated regular WordPress user will have own individual booking admin panel and own booking resource(s) - in your case its unique calendar for specific city.
              And each such user can configure own payments (fields in booking form, emails, etc...). Check more here:

              You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

                1) I'm not sure we can use this Paypal auto return URL feature to lead back to . Please correct me if I'm wrong...because we currently have two sites and If we activate this feature, successful payments made on will also lead back to ? This may be confusing to the buyer.

                2) For the business large version it says to upgrade will cost - $ 330.00 I just want to be sure this is a 1 time fee, and not recurring annual fee?

                We need the calendar in two different sections of our site.

                Firstly, for student to book weekend courses (no time slots necessary).

                Secondly, for models to book appointments (must be able to choose time slot).

                Does purchasing this allow me to utilize this calendar in two different sections of my site, for two different purposes? A little confused on the large vs medium versions here.

                3) Thanks for this resources link...really helpful! So instead of the city popup, it looks like I can have 1 calendar for NYC, 1 calendar for Toronto, 1 calendar for Ottawa...etc.? How can I create new separate calendars? I'm very new at this...apologies. Is there a forum link with instructions?

                  1) the link for returning from PayPal website to your website you are defined at the Booking > Settings > Payment PayPal page for the option "Return URL from PayPal".
                  Please note, its defined for specific website.
                  Also if you are using plugin at 2 different websites (developer edition version or2 single site usage version), its means that its will be fully independent installation of plugin. And bookings will not be synced between each other.

                  2) It's one time cost. You can use your purchased version of Booking Calendar as long as you need on your website.
                  But new updates can be paid. You can request free updates your version of Booking Calendar (if such updates ready) during 6 months after purchase of plugin.
                  If you will need to extend period (of support and getting free updates) to the next 6 months, it will cost 50% from the original cost.

                  2.1) In case, if you need to have time-slots selection in one booking form and do not have times-selection in other booking form, so then its means that you need to be able to configure 2 different types of booking forms. Such functionality available in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more here:

  5. Dear support,
    I use the WP Booking Calendar plugin for a guest house homepage, which is created via WPML in French, English, and German. Everything worked well so far, but nor I found one bug. (All installations theme and plugins have the latest version)

    The problem appears while sending booking confirmation emails to clients. The booking approved message arrives incomplete, [Content] and [Siteurl] shortcodes are missing. The waiting notification message arrives at all clients only in the French language. It seems like that the language shortcodes, in my case [lang=fr_FR] and [lang=de_DE], not working properly.

      During approving booking at admin panel, system is sending email in that language, which was activate in admin panel during clicking on "Approve" button.
      For changing language of email during approving, you need to click on "Change language" button near specific booking (its button with globe icon), and then you can approve or cancel booking. In this case, system will send email in selected language.

The WordPress is set to French, so also the plugin admin is all in French. As I don't speak French, working is very difficult for me. Can this be changed to English somehow?

          The general changing language of admin panel possible at the WordPress > Settings > General page.

          But if you are using WPML plugin, so then it's possible to change language also in this plugin. Usually it at admin top bar in wpml menu.

              Please open the WPML menu and recheck what locale was defined for the English language. Its have to be en_US and not just simple en or some other.

                  Please recheck more carefully, may be there is defined several different English languages, like "en" then "en_US", "en_GB"...
                  Try to switch to German language and check if its will change interface.

  6. iCal request . I would like to be able to pull data from an iCal feed. I do not need to post data back to a source, just read it, and block off dates that have entries against them.

      Plugin does not support importing/exporting to ical/ics, yet. Sorry.

      These features exist in out TODO list for future updates and have high priority.
      We are working currently for implementation of such feature.
      Hope its will be available already soon in close future updates.

      Actual versions of Booking Calendar support import of events from Google Calendar to Booking Calendar.
      Also manual export of booking (by clicking on link) to Google Calendar.
      Paid versions of plugin support of export bookings to the CSV files (which possible to open in MS Excel or some similar applications).

  7. Hello, my booking calendar only goes up to July 2018 and I want to add a booking for October 2018. How do I do this?

    • Hello.
      Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in "Calendar section" for the "Number of month" please set "2 years" instead of "1 month", so then you be able to scroll your calendar to the future months.

      If you still will have an issue, so then please send the link to the page with your booking form.

  8. I installed your free product today and am going through the setup and testing on my web site. The default booking form configuration doesn't show "Visitors", so why does this field show in the live form? I do not need/want the visitor field to show for my site's usage. Is there a way to hide or remove this field from showing?
