If you have any technical question about the plugin or configuration of plugin or if you found some issue, please describe it here. Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. Hi, I have your latest Booking Calendar 7.2 which was included in the WordPress theme "WP Pro Real Estate 7". We are using it for room rentals. We have over 20 rooms and need an individual calendar for booking and availability for each room. Can I use the version I have now or do I have to upgrade to a paid version to do this?

  2. I added a booking calendar to a page and I selected the relative resource name and the calendar instead posted resource names from old deleted ids?


    • Hello.
      1) Please be sure that you have inserted Booking Calendar shortcode for exist booking resources. Check ID relative Booking > Resources page.

      2) If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      • I only have one resource id (9) and it is present in the shortcode. There are no caching plugins and I cleared the cache form my browser? Thanks.

        • Hello.
          Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.

          Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.

          If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

          We just need to find the reason of this issue.

  3. Hello
    This issue has been happening a lot ( 2-3 year) and not I have just decided to ask for help.
    We are currently hosting our booking calendar with a shared hosting provider and every time when WordPress is updated I loose the following settings in Booking Calendar. The areas are below....

    1. All of our Fields Settings Custom Forms are completely removed
    2. All of our Email Settings are completely removed and set back to the default settings.

    I hope you can help as this issue has continued and continued and its very frustrating when I happens.

      1. Please be sure that you are using one of last update of Booking Calendar (I mean not too old version (better 7.0 or newer update )). So then you can try to make update to latest update 7.2
      2. Also please be sure that you are making update to new er version relative to this instruction:

      Please note. At the General Booking Settings menu page of Booking Calendar admin panel, and at the right side of the page recheck that this option "Delete booking data during uninstall" is turned Off (unchecked), otherwise all your booking data and settings options during deactivation will be deleted;

  4. I have a few question (pre-buying Business Small license) for hair salon:
    1) Can I get different views of the same calendar?
    a. Current DAY in the homepage
    b. WEEKly view in sidebar
    c. MONTHly view in a dedicated page
    2) Can I let the customer choose which of the barbers in the salon he'd like to schedule (I have more than one barber and there is no way for multiple barbers to work simultaneously)?
    3) Is it fully responsive to be viewed properly both on a pc and mobile phone?
    4) Do I get support to set the calendar as I wish (build the shortcodes)?

  5. Hi, I have a Multisite license of your plugin. I have a booking system hourly based, I'd like people can't book if the time is too near, for example, I have a time slot at 3.00PM and I want people book this slot only until 2.00PM, if the time is 2.15PM you can't book. How can I do that?

      Currently this is not possible in actual versions. I will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

  6. We have small business version on a vacation villa booking site,we also advertise these villas on other booking sites.
    Is it possible to EXPORT the calendars to external services,ie google calendar ical or other booking services?

    • Hello.
      1) Since update 8.0 of Booking Calendar, is supporting export or import of .ics feeds (files).
      And its means that you can sync (import/export) bookings with other services, like Airbnb,, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format (including iCal).

      You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page:

      2) Additionally you will be need to install our Booking Manager 2.0 plugin ( ), which is provide .ics support for Booking Calendar plugin.

      3) After this open the Booking > Settings > Sync page in Booking Calendar admin panel and follow instruction there.

  7. Hi, I'm thinking about buying your Business Small calendar and using it on a bilingual English / Japanese site with WPML plugin installed.
    We'd like the names of months to appear in Japanese.
    I know your calendar doesn't support Japanese but I'm just double checking if there's a way to do this using WPML or another way?

  8. Hi there, I have the medium business version and am wanting to set up a deposit functionality, however would like the user to be redirected to a new page with the payment link for the deposit, after they send of the enquiry. Is this possible, and if so, where?

    • Hello.
      1) After visitor click on "Send button" in the booking form, the payment form can appear only at the same page. Its does not possible to redirect visitor to some new page for showing deposit cost. Sorry.
      And after visitor click on "Pay now" button, he/she will be redirected to the page of payment gateway.

      2) In case, if you will need to send payment request for paying balance, then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.

      You can open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page and by clicking the "Deposit amount" button configure the deposit amount value.

      This cost will be show in the payment form, after visitor is made the reservation. So probably its cost will be smaller than full amount. And your visitors can make the payment of that amount.

      At the admin panel at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the FULL cost, but inside of the "notes section" (you can activate it by pressing the note button at the right side of the each section), you will see the description similar to this:

      Total cost: $135.00 /deposit:$54.00, balance: $81.00/ - 11.11.2017

      If you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need to make these steps:

      a) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form.

      You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.

      b) Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.

    • I also need to be able to have some form of confirmation message when someone has booked, and is now prompted to make a deposit. All it does is replace the form they just filled out with the paypal / payment button.

        At the Booking > Settings > Payment page you can activate this option "Show booking details in payment form" - its will show booking details above the payment button.
        At the same page ( Booking > Settings > Payment page) you can configure this confirmation info.

    I took the personal license, to help my patient to book massages from my website, but I am so disappointed, They can't book at a precise time, why? Please, that was the only feature I needed from the premium version, Can you help me having it? Otherwise, can I have return my licence, it is useless to me. Thank you
