If you have any technical question about the plugin or configuration of plugin or if you found some issue, please describe it here. Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. My site was recently down and I contacted Bluehost as to why. They got it up again but now Booking calendar plugin won't activate giving me an error - "Fatal error: Class 'wpdev_booking' not found in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/booking.bs.4.0.1/wpdev-booking.php on line 291".

    They had deactivated all plugins to test and it looked like they changed booking.bs.4.0.1 to booking.bs.4.0.1-old. I changed it back but still get the same error. Please help, thank you.

    • Hello.
      Usually when you renamed the plugin folder it's automatically deactivate the plugin (at least in last WordPress verdins). So you can rename Booking Calendar plugin folder. It's have to make automatic deactivation of plugin. Then you can log in then open WordPress > Plugins menu and click on activate link for Booking Calendar. It's will be activated at new location.

      But better will be to update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update 8.0

          It's very old version of plugin. So I do not sure if its because of that.

          1) please be sure that you have renamed plugin at the same server. And not in some other test or dev. server.

          2) Try to set previous folder name: booking.bs.4.0.1
          Be sure that this folder have correct permission. The same as other plugin folders.

  2. Hi, great plugin. I'm wondering if you can export multiple form fields to Google Calendar? I have a form under my calendar but only 2 of the fields get exported to Calendar, I have to copy and paste the rest. Can I configure Booking Calendar to export all fields to Google Calendar?

    • Hello.
      During export .ics feed from Booking Calendar and then importing this feed into the Google Calendar, plugin is saved into the each event in Google Calndar the "Title" and the "Description".
      The "Title" field in specific event, can consist from "First Name and Last Name field" ( in the Booking Calendar Free version).
      In the paid versions, this field can be configured at the Booking > Settings General page in "Booking Listing" section in option "Booking title (front panel)".

      The second event field "Description" contains all bookings fields. You can check this by clicking on "Edit" event in google calendar.

  4. unanswered query from two weeks ago and a new one!
    Firstly I had a booking made on 31st august and that date and time should be unavailable for new bookings but someone made a booking overnight and now I am double booked?

    secondly how to distinguish between two venues?

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      Also you can activate this option "Checking to prevent double booking, during submitting booking" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Advanced section", if you want to re-check if the selected dates available during submitting booking.
      Note! This feature useful to prevent double booking of the same date(s) or time(s), if several visitors try to book the same date(s) in same calendar during the same time. This feature does not work for booking resources with capacity higher than one in Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.

      2) I do not sure, what exactly do you mean by this. But if you need to have the different calendars for the different venues, so then you can do this with different booking resources: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources
      You can create the different booking resources ( http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources ), unique calendars - your properties or services at the Booking > Resources page. And then you be able to insert booking shortcode (booking form or availability calendar) for for specific booking resource (your properties or service) into the post or page.

      In case if you was asked if its possible to book several booking resources (venues) during one booking process, then its does not possible in this case. Sorry.

    And I need to know how to select unavailable days in the calendar so that visitors can not book.
    For example the days of summer, Christmas or Holy Week.

    • Hello.

      1) In your Booking Calendar Business Small version is only way to make block of such dates by making "blank" bookings at the Booking > Add booking page.

      You can make "fast blank booking" for specific dates, by selecting date(s) in calendar for specific booking resource at the Booking > Add booking page and then click on "Auto fill" button at top right side for fast creation such blank booking.

      2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to block different days in calendar during different seasons or any other days

      Configuration. You can create or season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page and then at the Booking > Resources > Availability page set days from specific season as unavailable for the specific booking resources.

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

      You can change email addresses at the Booking > Settings > Emails page in each email templates tabs in your admin panel.

    I purchased Booking Calendar Business Large (developer edition) in July and finished all the setup.
    Our Order Number: [cutted]

    While testing, we encounter below issues which happened on iPhone (any browser)
    1. Insert TimeLine on Page - The Bookings of each Resource are able to display,
    But when click on >> to see next week, there is no feedback, TimeLine does not change.
    2. Insert Resource Selection on Page - We are able to select Resource from drop down list,
    But after select, nothing happen, the form does not display
    3. Insert Booking Form on Page - We are able to see the Columns of Form,
    But we are not able to see the Calendar, it was replaced by " Calendar is loading ... ",
    even we wait for 5 mins, it is still showing " Calendar is loading ... ".

    Below issues are happened on Firefox , IE and Edge (on PC)
    4. Insert Resource Selection on Page - We are able to select Resource from drop down list,
    After select, form is able to display, but showing " Calendar is loading ..." .
    5. Insert Booking Form on Page - We are able to see the Columns of Form,

    • Hello.
      Just retested it. Its can be because of some JavaScript (CSS with timeline) conflict issue with some other plugin or actual theme.
      I have found this JavaScript error:

      08:20:59.396 Error: Assertion failed 1 wrappers.js:46:13
      assert https://booking.johocen.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-polymer/components/webcomponentsjs/src/ShadowDOM/wrappers.js:46:13
      

      at your page.

      Please try to deactivate this plugin "wp-polymer" and then test it again.

      If its does not help then please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation. If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. Just need to find the reason of this issue.

    first of all thank you for this nice plugin, its workin' fine for me.
    I am using this plugin for an trailer-retail. Is it possible, to give my clients a different price when they rent a trailer for four hours?
    Here an example:
    trailer per hour: 10€
    trailer per 4 hours 30€
    trailer per day: 50€
    I don't know how to get the solution.
    Right now i got the small business version of your software. But i am not aversed to buy a higher version if you find a solutio for me :)!

      Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. In these versions possible to define additional cost for the each options in selectboxes (including time-slots selection). You can define it at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.

      Weird its seems like some CSS or JavaScript conflict.
      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

          Ok, found it.
          Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in "Form section" please set as CHECKED this option "Use CSS BootStrap" (Using BootStrap CSS for the form fields). Save changes.
          Then test it.
