If you have any technical question about the plugin or configuration of plugin or if you found some issue, please describe it here. Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. I have 3 Season Filter (Saison, Hauptsaison and Nebensaison) with different daily rates. I also have for each season 3 valuation days (4 days in a row, from 4 to 7 days and from 8 to 31 days).
    Works fine but if the booking is overlapping with 2 seasons, than the first day of the booking is presumed. So all costs based on the first season. I would like, however, the second season is also taken into account.
    How and where can I change this?

    • Hello.
      The "Valuation days" cost settings can apply to any days in calendar, or can depend from only belonging "Check In" day to specific season filter.
      So in your case, you can define some new season filters, that between first and second exist season filter and define some middle cost depend from how many days was selected by visitor.

        thank you for your answer. Let me give you an example. 1st season starts on June 1st and ends on June 30st. Second season starts on July 1st and ends on July 31th.
        Price per day during June-season is 30 $ and price during July-season is 40 $.
        A guest now books June 28th to July second. The price in total should be 3* 30 $ + 2* 40$ = 170 $
        And the programm calculates correctly.
        But in case of defining the days in June as "Valuation days" the programm calculates 5* 30 $ = 150 $
        What do you mean by define a middle cost filter?

    • Hello.
      Again, if you are using “Valuation days” with season filter, so it can depend only from check in day.

      Relative middle season, for example you can create new 7 season filters from 24 June to 31 June.

      So in this case if someone start selection, on 24 June, you can define differnt costs, if visitor select more than 7 days.
      For 25 of June if visitor select 6 or more days, etc ... its only the way how it’s possible to use intersection of seasons to gather with “Valuation days”.

      The rates without “Valuation days” is working correctly in any situations.

  3. Just updated by booking calendar to 8.0, we are a Business Small SingleSite.
    I am the administrator of the site. I have 1 person working remotely to add, edit and approve bookings and has been doing so since we began using the Booking Calendar in 2014 with no problems.
    Since the update, he can NOT get the "approved" button to work either on the booking itself (next to the trash can) nor by checking the box and using the action tab. When he clicks on the approve button next to the trash can, he just gets a blue outline around the box.
    Can you help us fix this problem please?

    • Hello.
      Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

      Also, please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation. ~ If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

      • I did check the error log and nothing shows up.
        I can use the approve button from my computer in three different web browsers using either my log in or his log in credentials. I had him restart his computer and try and that did not work.
        He had no problems using the "approve" button(s) until I upgraded to 8.0
        I have not tried deactivating the different plug ins since I can get it to work on my computer.
        Any other ideas?

        • Hello.

          In the error log can be description about the issue, which can generate during ajax request from Booking Calendar (like approving the booking).

          As other suggestion, you can try to deactivate all email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page. And then try to approve the booking. If the issue will not appear, so then its relative to some errors during sending emails at configuration of your server, probably because of some security settings (like From email different from DNS of your server, etc).

          Otherwise, the description about the issue have to be at the error.log

          Also please try to check about any JavaScript errors at the page (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.

  4. Hi,
    Just letting you know that your plugin stops Customise working in WordPress theme Twenty Seventeen. I go to cutomise. It either just doesn't load or throws out an error page. I deactivated and reactivated now it just keeps loading and never loads

  5. I now use the system for two months and had no problems with confirmation email. But this week are they no longer coming? why?

    • Hello.
      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Please check this troubleshooting instruction http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.

  6. We have very specific booking conditions set up on our resources (holiday cottages) and customers can only book certain date combinations online (e.g. Fri - Fri, Tue - Thur etc.). However, we need to be able to add manual bookings in the back office that can override these limited day combinations, ie. if we get a telephone enquiry for a Mon-Wed which we normally don't sell but we have the vacancy, we need to be able to block these days out and add a booking in the back office. How can we do this?

    • Hello.

      - At the Booking > Settings General page you can activate the range days selection mode and configure sub-settings, that will apply for general purpose, when you making the booking in admin panel (at Booking > Add booking page ).

      - And for the front-end side, you can define in the JavaScript code before Booking Calendar shortcode, specific restrictions for ability to start selection and how many days to select.   7. I am trying to set up the Booking Calendar- great plugin by the way. For some reason the booking details are not showing up in the reservation. Here's a screenshot to show you what I mean. https://www.screencast.com/t/heHLB4hw7cSd I've looked through the settings and can't see where I would make the change. I'm sure it must be something simple but I can't figure it out. Thanks for your help.

    I purchased a multi-site license
    Can you tell me if is it possible to add options to a reservation? here is an example below:

    TV rental: € 20 per week and € 5 per week-end
    Pets: day package 3 €, week 8 €
    Sheets rental: 5.50 € the pair
    Rent towels 5 € the kit (small + large)
    Cleaning fee: Gîte 1 = 40 € / Gîte 2 = 50 € / Gîte 3 = 60 €
    Breakfast Lodging (non-season) 7 €
    Cancellation insurance = 2.5% of the total amount

  9. Hi - We are using Version: 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.5.0.3. Latest WordPress.

    When attempting to delete a booking, the page displays a load of code and hangs on 'Updating' , The same code is also displayed on the admin home screen under the recent bookings feed etc.

  10. Hi,
    because of problems with the saison I want to give the customer this kind of rabatt. Booking costs 1-3 nights = 100%, booking more then 4, less then 8 days = 90% for each day and booking more then 7 nights = 85% for each night. How can I make this?
    I try it with the valuation day: https://snag.gy/lL1dHU.jpg, but now I need to change the day in nights. How / Where can I do that? If I change the setting in the payment option, the calender calculates the day, not the nights.

    • Hello.
      You can configure all this at the "Valuation days" at Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page, in a way like this:

      For LAST = 0 USD per 1 day
      Together 4 days = 90%  for all days
      From 5 to 7 days = 90% from the cost of 1 day
      Together 8 days = 85%  for all days
      From 9 to 99 days = 85% from the cost of 1 day
      

      The first cost configuration, using predefined word LAST, which is define last selected day:

      For LAST = 0 USD per 1 day

      and this cost setting define cost like cost per nights. Its will give you ability to have cost per days in settings.

        Another question: Is it possible to calculate the addition costs in dependence to the days of stay? For example: Stay 7 days - security deposit : 100 , Stay for more then 7 days security deposit : 200
