  1. Hello,
    How can I set a specific rate for a resource in low season or high season if the resource is booked for 1 or 2 visitors?
    My resource costs 112€ in low season and 122€ in high season for 1 visitor.
    The same resource costs 164€ in low season and 184€ in hight season for 2 visitors.

    In additional costs, I can set a specific price in there is 1 or 2 visitors but how can I set season filter (low or high season) for this resource depending the number of visitors?

    Could you help me please?

    Thanks a lot,

    Hélène

    • Hello.
      The additional cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page you can define as fixed cost or as percentage from the total booking cost. But this cost can not depend from the seasons.

      Only in case, if you define additional cost as percentage you can get relative values, if you increase cost proportionally.

      So if you define advanced cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page as:
      visitors:
      1 = 100%
      2 = 146.4285%
      ...
      ...

      so then for 1 visitor selection in low season you will get 112 Euro and for 2 visitors selection you will get 112 * 146.4285% = 163.999992 = 164 Euro

      Bot for "High Season" you will get for 1 visitor = 122 and for 2 visitors (proportional) cost will be 122 * 146.4285% = 178.64277 = 178.64 Euro

      So its does not possible to set different un-proportional cost for additional cost for different seasons. Sorry.

      Kind Regards.

      • Thansk for the answer.
        There is no way to set it in this case?
        My customer can't reset all his rates and I don't know how could I make it work with wp calendar.
        Kind regards

        • Hello.
          In general you can make a trick by having separate visitors selection at Booking > Settings > Fields page for each of your seasons.
          For example:

          [condition name="season-times" type="season" value="*"]
           <p>Visitors:  [select visitors class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"]</p>
          [/condition]
          [condition name="season-times" type="season" value="High season"]
          <p>Visitors:  [select visitors_high class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"]</p>
          [/condition]
          [condition name="season-times" type="season" value="Low season"]
          <p>Visitors:  [select visitors_low class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"]</p>
          [/condition]

          Please read more about configurations of such conditions here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/different-content-for-different-days-selection/

          And then you can configure different additional cost for the different visitors selections (its means different seasons).
          You can configure at Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page these values:
          visitors
          1 = XX
          2 = XX
          ...
          visitors_high
          1 = XX
          2 = XX
          ...
          visitors_low
          1 = XX
          2 = XX
          ...

          But please note the showing of specific visitor field is depend from belonging only CHECK IN day to specific season, and not all days.

          Kind Regards.

  2. Hello, I am using Business Small SingleSite 6.2 and after adding some new resources we are no longer receiving emails when a new booking comes in. I changed nothing in the email settings when adding the new resources. I have followed the troubleshooting procedures in the help section with no luck. I have also tried using several different emails addresses and it will not send a notification from any of them. It's not a spam/or bulk filter problem. We are not using a Yahoo or Gmail address. The email address is valid and activated. We have tested the email address and can send and receive emails to it without issue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Hello.

      1) Please try to set in the field "From" instead of visitor email shortcode, your email. The same email that you set in the field "To".

      2) Just to be sure, please recheck that field "From", is have the same as your website domain.
      For example: info@your-server.com

      3) If you do not receive emails at all in any cases then please check this troubleshooting instruction http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/ (the most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction).

      4) Try to make update to latest version. You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      Otherwise please recheck your error.log file about to any relative errors. Also try to check your mail log at server configuration. May be you will be need to contact your support of hosting about such logs.

      Kind regards.

      • Thank you,
        1) Changed "From" to same email as "To" - still will not send emails
        2) Both emails are the same: reservations@our-site.us
        3) Test confirms emails sent succesfully to visitor after booking but not to admin. Sending from same address.
        4) Will updating to latest version fix this problem?

        • Hello.
          Booking Calendar sent all emails in the same way.
          If the visitor received email and admin not, so you need to check your mail logs about some issues (may be your mail server is block such emails by some reason).
          I can suggest that you have activated sending of email to admin at Booking > Settings > Emails page, of course.
          Kind regards.

          • Yes, of course it is activated.
            Why did it work fine until I added new resources? Is there some sort of conflict?
            I don't know where to check the mail logs or error logs you are referring to.

            • Hello.
              I think it's does not relative to new resource. It's seems like some error or configuration issue relative to server. Please try to contact hosting support to check those logs about finding reason of issue.
              Kind regards.

  3. Hello,
    I use [cost_hint] to display booking cost for one resource (112€/day) for 5 days : 560€ - it's okay
    And later in the form, I display [cost_hint] near the [calendar] but it shows : 578,67 € - why ?
    I don't understand why does it display 578,67 € instead of 560€.

    Could you explain me please?
    Thanks a lot

    • Hello.

      Did you sure that you are using the same [cost_hint] shortcode in booking form ? Please recheck it.

      Please be sure that you have unchecked the "Time impact to cost" option at the Booking > Settings > Payment page (in update 7.0 Beta).

      Kind Regards.

  4. Hello,

    Which shortcode do I use to get this display:
    http://screencast.com/t/z7hdhUoiKhL

    I have tried all of them and none of them display this calendar with all the bookings and resources on each line. We're using the Personal version at the moment.

    Thanks,
    Peter

  5. Hi
    I have just had this availability calendar installed on my new website.
    Many of the websites that I advertise on also have availability calendars that I have to complete but they say I should be able to sync them with the calendars on my own website so I do not have to fill in multiple calendars for the same property.
    I think they say it is called icalendar.
    Is this feature available on this software?
    Many thanks.

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support importing/exporting of the ical/ics (iCalendar), yet. Sorry.

      These features exist in out TODO list for future updates. But I can not say about the exact day of implementation of these features.

      Booking Calendar support import of events from Google Calendar.
      And paid versions of plugin support of export bookings to the CSV files.

      Kind regards.

  6. Hello,
    I am using booking.bm.7.0.Beta.10, and am having trouble passing the state and phone values from the bookings to authorize.net. All of the other values (names, address, city, zip, country, email) are passing over fine. The state value always shows up as "yes". I have tried selecting the state value from a select list. Now I am just collecting the state as text - "State (required): [text* state]".

    Is there something I am missing, or is this an issue with authorize.net? Authorize.net uses the id x_state and x_phone, which matches the way I am passing the other values.

    thank you,
    Bret

    • Hello.

      The "state" field is exist and working fine in this payment system. Just be sure that you correctly assigned it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at General Tab (its at right side of the page). I was tested it and its seems working fine.
      In any case, you can try to request newer version 7.0.Beta.18 http://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-beta/

      The "phone" field was not exist in this integration.
      For adding auto-filling this field, please make this fix:
      Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc\gateways\authorizenet\wpbc-gw-authorizenet.php

      then find this code:

              // State
              $billing_field_name = (string) trim( get_bk_option( 'booking_billing_state' ) );
              if ( isset( $params[ $billing_field_name ] ) ) {
                  ?><input type="hidden" name="x_state" value="<?php echo substr( $params[ $billing_field_name ], 0, 40 ); ?>" /><?php
              }

      and replace it to this code:

              // State
              $billing_field_name = (string) trim( get_bk_option( 'booking_billing_state' ) );
              if ( isset( $params[ $billing_field_name ] ) ) {
                  ?><input type="hidden" name="x_state" value="<?php echo substr( $params[ $billing_field_name ], 0, 40 ); ?>" /><?php
              }
              // Phone
              $billing_field_name = (string) trim( get_bk_option( 'booking_billing_phone' ) );
              if ( isset( $params[ $billing_field_name ] ) ) {
                  ?><input type="hidden" name="x_phone" value="<?php echo substr( $params[ $billing_field_name ], 0, 25 ); ?>" /><?php
              }

  7. Hello,

    Is there a way to set up the advanced cost Tax so that it applies to the cost of the booking plus any additional advanced costs I have created? For example, we have additional costs for extra visitors and a cleaning fee. We would like to show the tax as applied to the total of the booking+extra visitors+cleaning. We are using booking.bm.7.0.Beta.10.

    thank you!
    Bret

    • Hello.
      In the online calendar, where visitors can select day(s) for submitting booking possible to have one calendar for one resource only. So each specific booking resources will have own unique calendar for selecting days and submit the booking.

      In the new update 7.0 (which currently in beta status) possible to show "Calendar Overview mode" (from admin panel) at front-end side in read only view. So here visitors can check only availability but can not submit new booking. Please read more about this here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/update-7-0-beta/

      Kind regards.

  8. I have the medium Business version. How do I show multiple resources in one calendar so that they can be booked. At the moment all I get is one calendar with one resource?
