  1. Hello,
    I want to apply a 10% tax on the booking then I put this code in the booking form:

    [checkbox tva default:on ""]

    The tax is set to 110% in the Additional costs page and the tax applies correctly to the resources cost but not to the additionnal cost with select box:

    Heure d'arrivée [select* heure_arrivee default:apresmidi "Matin@@matin" "Apres-midi@@apresmidi" "Soir@@soir"]
    "matin" = 20€
    "apresmidi" = 0
    "soir" = -20€

    How can I set the 10% tax to apply on both resources cost and other additionnal cost like "heure_arrivee" in the select box.

      please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and set checked this option: "Advanced Cost" - Check this box if you want that specific additional cost, which configured as percentage for some option, apply to other additional fixed costs and not only to original booking cost.

    IF I use this shortcode to search availabiliies: [bookingsearch]
    I set the user like this:

    [bookingsearch searchresults='' searchresultstitle='{searchresults} Result(s) Found' noresultstitle='Nothing Found' users='3']

    with users='3'

    AND IF I set one season filter (A) to the user='3'

    Does it mean that the result will display only resources associated to this specific season filter (A) himself associated to the user="3" ?

    • Hello.
      Its means that system will show in search results booking resources that owned by user with ID = 3.
      If searching dates available, then system will show this resource, otherwise, if its booked, or set as unavailable with season filter at Booking > Resources > Availability page, then such resources (links to the page with booking form for this resource), will not show in search results.

          Sorry, I do not sure that clearly understand this.
          Update 7.0 allow (as in previous updates of Booking Calendar) to assign "season filter" to specific booking resource for definition availability (at Booking > Resources > Availability page ) or rates (at Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page ).

      • Or there is any way to get results from the season filter (A) associated to user="3" AND with resources associated to user="3" ?

        In my case I have to work with season filters with same dates, but if I could pass the user value for the resources AND the season filter, it could solve my problem.

          No, such type of assigning season filters in search results is not possible. Sorry.
          Season filters can be assigned only to the booking resources for setting availability.

  3. Is there a possibility to each post have a differente calendar ( like each post were a different shop ) so each shop has it own calendar, and each calendar is controlled by the author of the post?

      If you asking about ability to integrate CRM together with Booking Calendar, so unfortunately its not available yet.
      We are having n our TODO list ability to have separate CRM system for such purpose.
      If you was asking about something else, please explain it more detail.

  5. Hi, I have successfully installed your plugin and everything seems to be working OK, BUT the email field in the calendar form can be left empty and I don't get an error when I press the send button, only afterward do I get an error that the email could not be sent due to the fact that no email was supplied. The email input is by default a require field, WHY? all other required fields works OK, and I get errors when not completed. Any guidance, suggestions. Thank You. Carl

    • Hello.
      Pleas be sure that you correctly configured email field at Booking > Settings > Fields page if you are using paid version:
      [email* email]

      Otherwise, Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest  it again.  If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then  retest it again. May  be there exist  some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

  6. Hello team,
    i am using this plugin for booking.
    all things are good but when i send the user the to decline his booking and put reason for cancellation the user didn't get the reason of cancellation the user only get the reason of cancellation area is blank. I also checked the settings-> emails->pending or trash area their is a shortcode [denyreason] for fetching reaon of cancellation but it didn't fetch the reason. please help me regarding this.

      Its known issue. Sorry about this.
      Its will be fixed in next update 7.0.1 of plugin, or you can make this small fix:

      1) Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core\admin\page-email-deny.php
      then find this code:

      $replace = wpbc__get_replace_shortcodes__email_deny( $booking_id, $bktype, $formdata );

      and replace it to this code:

              $replace = wpbc__get_replace_shortcodes__email_deny( $booking_id, $bktype, $formdata );
              $replace[ 'denyreason' ] = $denyreason;                                 //FixIn: 7.0.1.

      2) Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core\admin\page-email-trash.php

      then find this code:

              $replace = wpbc__get_replace_shortcodes__email_trash( $booking_id, $bktype, $formdata );

      and replace it to this code:

              $replace = wpbc__get_replace_shortcodes__email_trash( $booking_id, $bktype, $formdata );
              $replace[ 'denyreason' ] = $trashreason;                                //FixIn:

    I have run into a problem, where it is not possible to properly select all dates from the frontend (works fine in the backend). It used to work fine until a month ago?

      • Yes, I saw that, but please try again and try to pick different sort of dates also more than 4/5 nights (example 12 until 20 may), most of the times it won't work.

  8. We are a charity who provides lots of free workshops for people with cancer, I need to post the workshops into the calendar so that people can book on them, how do I do this as its not clear.

    sorry we are only 3 part time people doing everything and not skilled in website things.

      Its seems that you have some misunderstanding or misspelling.
      1) MultiSite version have each specific version of Booking Calendar and its edition of version, which can be installed up to 5 different websites. Please note, such installations of Booking Calendar on different websites, fully independent and bookings inside of these installations can not be synced between each website.

      Its does not possible to make upgrade from single site usage version to the multi site usage version. Check more here

      2) Booking Calendar MultiUser version - its separate version of Booking Calendar. In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page)

      Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that the each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the Booking Calendar MultiUser version:

      • Thanks for the clarification. Please help me to confirm my understanding.

        I want to setup different franchises based on location. Each franchise will need a separate payment gateway.

        Therefore, my options seem to be as follows:

        1. Use urls such as /. This would be one wordpress install, but I could upgrade my large single site licence to mutiuser and allocate a separate admin panel, and therefore payment gateway, to each user. One challenge I see with this approach is that I would need to find a way of making sure the different users can't changes pages on the website that I don't want them to...

        2. Buy a multisite licence, which would be completely separate from my existing licence and would not qualify for upgrade pricing. This would then enable me to set up separate WordPress installs using, for example .. In this example I would have no issues over WordPress page update authorisation, but it would be a more expensive route to obtain the payment gateway separation for each franchise.

        If there are other options here that I'm not understanding, please let me know.

          Yes, in general its correct understanding.
          Only please note, if you will use "MultiSite" version of Booking Calendar - its means fully independent installations of plugin - at subdomains: subdomain.mydomin .com (like instillation on new website). You will not have "super booking admin user, like in MultiUser" version.
