        • Hello.
          1) Calendar in a page is not showing in case, if some JavaScript error exist at the page.
Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors. And if some one exist please try to fix it.
Usually when you will see some JavaScript error, its possible to make identification, what the reason of this error.

          2) If you have the same issue at front-end side, so then please send the link to the page with booking form, where you can not see calendar, and then I will check it.

          3) If the error appear only at back-end side (at Booking > Add booking page ), so then please recheck points #2 and #3 from may previous comment.
If you will deactivate all plugins and activate default WiordPress them, so Booking Calendar have to work for sure. If you do not see it, probabaly you have made something wrong. In this case, please recheck that you deactivated all plugins except Booking Calendar, and you have active some default WordPress theme, like "Twenty Eleven".

After this, when you will see calendar, try to activate one by one all other plugins, and recheck Booking > Add booking page, when you will have this error again. So by doing this, you will find what the reason of error.

Otherwise (after you made all these steps), and still can not find reason of error, please send the link to the page with your booking form, also send screenshot of Booking > Settings General page and screenshot of this page, when you clicked on "Booking System info" button at the right side of that page. Please send this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
          Kind Regards.

          • I try all, but the problem is in admin panelo not in extarnal layout.

            I'll send message and error.

            Please help me!

            Thanks massimo

  3. How do I get:
A summary of total amount for the booking before confirmation and then
The total amount payable for the booking in the confirmation e mail?

    • Hello.
      1) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can use [cost_hint] shortcode in your booking form at Booking > Settings > Fields page for showing total booking cost in real time.

      2) Additionally you can activate to show booking "summary" info, before payment form. You can activate to show this summary (and customize appearance of this summary in update 7.0) at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      Kind regards.

      • Relative emails, please check help section in each email template, with shortcodes that you can use.
For showing cost you can use [cost] shortcode.
        Kind regards.

  4. Hello, I have Business Small SingleSite 7.0 and wordpress 4.7. My resources are homes. I rent a small home and a large home and both at the same time. I only want one guest at a time as well. So I need the public to be able to see and understand which of my resources are rented on the webpage calendar. In other words if someone has rented my small home for a week, and someone else wants to rent both homes for that same week the calendar for the both homes resource needs to reflect that the small home is rented so I don't get double booked. Can someone help with this?

    • Hello.

      Here is several options.

      1) You can create 3 booking resources:

      - Small Home ( ID = 2 )
      - Large Home ( ID = 3 )
      - Both ( ID = 4 )

Then you need to insert into the posts or pages Booking Calendar shortcodes with agregate parameter for these booking resources.
Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

agregate - possibility to show reserved days in one calendar from several booking resource. So its mean that one calendar can aggregate dates from several booking resource. Usage: agregate='2;4;5', where 2;4;5 – ID of booking resources. The ID of booking resources you can check at the Booking > Resources page.

      Example:

      - Small Home

      [booking type=2 nummonths=1 agregate='4' ]

      - Large Home

      [booking type=3 nummonths=1 agregate='4' ]

      - Both

      [booking type=4 nummonths=1 agregate='2;3' ]

Note! Please be careful in configuration of Booking Calendar shortcode with quote symbols. Do not use non standard opening or closing quot symbols. Only standard like: ' The best way to type them from keyboard, and not copy/past

      2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions, possible to show 2 calendars for the 2 different booking resources and to have only one booking form. Please read more about this configuration here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/booking-many-different-items-via-one-booking-form/

      3) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days (for example for entire house), then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/apacity
At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).
Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/

      Example of configuration.
You can make the parent resource (a both homes) and then create 2 child resources (or any other number of homes, depend from how many homes you are having). Its means that total capacity will be 3.

Now you need to create 2 booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. One form for the "child booking resources" (rooms), and one form for the entire house (parent booking resource). The form for parent booking resources must to have form field for visitors selection with one pre-selected options, which is = to capacity of this booking resource. In this example its 3 visitors. This field can be hidden, so your visitors do not see it. Its required for booking entire house (parent and all child resources). Then you need to insert the booking shortcode for the parent booking resource (house) and this custom form into the separate page.

In the booking form for child resources, can be selection of only 1 visitor.

Then separately at the different pages you can insert the booking forms for the other 2 units.

Please note, if one of the child resources will be booked you cannot book the entire house for those dates (the availability will be less then number of visitors) but the dates in the calendar still will be select-able. Also if someone is book the entire house so then the dates in the calendar of separate rooms will be unavailable.

You can check overview of different Booking Calendar versions at this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also you can test live demos http://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind Regards.

  5. Hello there,

I have the business medium version.
In the admin panel, in the calendar overview there is a problem: The check out date is marked as booked, but it should be marked as available.
    How can i change that?

    • Hello.

the different view in Calendar Overview page show specific day(s) as booked or available. If you was made the booking by using the check in/out times, so last check out date will be marked as booked in Calendar Overview page, but when you mouse over for this booking, you will see that its booked only until specific time, like 14:00.
And if you switch view mode from Month view to day view, so then you will see that this date is booked only until specific check out time, like 14:00.
      Kind Regards.

      • The problem is that i dont see the one day gaps between bookings.
This is necessary to be seen in the monthly calendar view.
Can i change the code and mark the last day in calendar overview as available?

        • Hello.
          Currently its does not possible.
You can try to make such debugging by yourself, but we will not support it in a future.
You will be need to check this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core\admin\wpbc-class-timeline.php
          and make your debugging inside:

          public function wpbc_show_timeline_booking_row( $current_resource_id, $start_date, $booking_data = array() ) {

Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
          Kind Regards.

  6. How can I update the date on the default calendar it is showing jan of 2016 ..it needs to show jan of 2017

    • Hello.
Can you send link and screenshot to the page of this issue to the support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
      Thank you.

  7. I have protected the wp-admin on the server with a .htaccess

when a user clicks on the calendar, he is promted with a popup to enter the login data to this htaccess

is there a way to switch that off?

    • Hello.

Probably you are using the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions and you are having [cost_hint] shortcode or some other shortcode for showing selected dates or costs. During clicking on dates or selecting options in booking form, Booking Calendar plugin is send Ajax request to the admin-ajax.php file for updating those hints.
That's why you need to have access to this file admin-ajax.php for ability to work correctly.
      Kind Regards.

      • you should consider to change that procedure ... because htaccess is a way to protect your WP

        • Hello.
Currently its standard way of submitting ajax requests. For example, submitting new comments in standard WordPress functionality is also working in such way. But we will add to the TODO list functionality about improving such process.
          Kind Regards.

  8. Hello,
I would like to use the [balance_hint] tag in the email but the value doesn't display.
I use multi user version 7.0
    Thank you for your help.

    Hélène

    • Hello.
You need to use this shortcode [balance_hint] in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page,
and only after this you can use it in email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
Please note, its will work only for new bookings, that was created, when this shortcode was in booking form (at Booking > Settings > Fields page).
      Kind Regards.

  9. Hello,

How can I insert a locked field?
I use multi user 7.0 version

    Thank for your help

    Hélène

    • Hello.
What do you mean by "locked field" ? Do you mean required fields ?
If yes, so then you just need to use this symbol * after inserting type of field.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
In shortcode generator you can find all supporting fields. If you do not see some field or parameter there, so unfortunately its does not support.
Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
      Kind Regards.

I have a problem with my prices.
    For example I have a resource 101.81818 € and tax 10%.
    The costs is 447,99999 €
    But the price displayed for 4 nights : 448,01 € instead of 448,00 €

And I have this problem with all of my resources.

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    Hélène

    • Hello.
If you want to make rounding without decimal points, then please try to make this fix:

Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/biz_s.php
      or ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/_bs/biz_s.php (in update 7.0)

      then find this code:

                      if ($is_discount_calculate)
                          $summ = apply_bk_filter('coupons_discount_apply', $summ , $post_form, $booking_type ); // Apply discounts based on coupons

                      $summ = round($summ,2);

and replace it to this code:

                      if ($is_discount_calculate)
                          $summ = apply_bk_filter('coupons_discount_apply', $summ , $post_form, $booking_type ); // Apply discounts based on coupons

                      $summ = round($summ,0);

      Kind Regards.
