  1. Hello,
    I am using the free version at the moment to test it before I apply it to the website. Is it possible in the bookings page that the customer visit, in the calendar not to show the Already Booked Days.

    • Hello.
      In the Booking Calendar Free version, you can activate this option "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)" at the General Booking Settings page in Advanced section. So your visitors will be able to make unlimited bookings per same date(s) in calendar and do not see any booked date(s) of other visitors.

  2. Hello! How to avoid forwarding to the payment page after a booking confirmation? Can I send to customer payment request letter after the booking approving?

    • Hello.

      In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions (update 7.0 or newer) you can make small fix for do not show "payment forms", after visitors made the booking, and show only after you manually send payment request for specific booking.

      Its will show payment form only in payment request during sending from Booking Listing page and do not show payment form after visitor made the booking.

      Fix:

      Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/wpbc-constants.php

      then find this code:

      if (!defined('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST'))     define('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST', false ); 

      and replace it to this code:

      if (!defined('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST'))     define('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST', true);

  3. Hi,

    I'm currently using the free version,
    Is it possible for a maximum number of customers to book a particular hour.
    E.g Only 20 customers can book between 9am and 10am time slot.

    I'd appreciate your prompt feedback before purchasing a license.

      Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does not possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Please read my suggestion below about the possible configuration.

      1) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      2) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots).       At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).   4. Hello and back again :).

    Is there a way to see only information who booked someting in the calendar and not the dates.
    The problem is that we using this for renting rooms and some off them are booked for the whole year, so this list is to long if you click in the timeline for a popup

    I removed this form the form but that does not work, it not showong the dates now offcourse but the list is still there with the - in it 🙂

      No, its does not possible to see only booking info (Booking Listing page) at front-end side without the dates (like in inline month view calendar or in timeline).

      Such ability to see booking info possible only in admin panel at the Booking Listing page.

        Sorry is was maube not very clear with calendar i ment, it is the overview when you logged in as admin, there are bookings for the whole year and that every week, so its a list of 52 weeks, but we dont need to see this and the pop up in the admin fly out of the screen so you see only some dates of that year, the list is so long you can not even see the information.
        Also the dates that are in the past are still in there

          You can view such bookings in the "Booking Listing" mode. You can click on this view at the top toolbar "Booking Calendar" > "Booking Listing" page.
          And there you can filter bookings by different paramaters by using the "Filter" toolbar.

          Of if you still need to see it in Calendar Overview mode, then please try to select different type of view, like "Month view" or "Week view" mode, if its will be helpful for you.

          And by the way. In next update if plugin 7.0.1 "popover" info will be showing only downstairs (and not upstairs), so its will be more easy to scroll such details.

  5. Hello, we are using Business.Medium.SingleSite.7.0.Beta.10. Is there a way to set an expiration on the link to the payment processor that is generated in the payment request email? We are using Authorize.net as our gateway, and would like the payment link to expire in 24 hours.

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately it's does not possible to set expiration to that link.
      But if you send this link, when the booking was in pending status. So then you can activate changing hash of booking during approving. You can activate it at the Booking > Settings General page. So then you can approve this booking. And that payment link will be unavailable.

      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

      P.S. Please inform us, what exactly plugin is generating this conflict issue.

      • The plugin doesn't work on "the7" theme I've bought, but it works on the default WordPress theme.

          1) Please recheck the page with booking form relative any JavaScript errors. And if you found someone please try to fix them.

  6. Hi
    Have the large version and been having google sync for some months. Now it is not working I noticed. Most of my bookings is synced but a few missing. Have been following http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-gc-events/ instructions but can figure out why is it not working.
    Added a new booking to test but it wount capture it in the import.
    What to do? ( is the api creation help text up to date?)

    • Hello.
      1) Plesse note, Booking Calendar support only import of bookings from google calendar to Booking Calendar. It's does not support export of bookings.

      2) if you have an issue with import, please rechck again step by step that instruction. Probabaly you have not set permission for your API to export events. Or your Google Calendar was not set as public relative to the FAQ instruction.

        2: The guide regarding creation of API does now look exactly like the google interface when you create it. Be more detailed on what is needed when creating API if I need to recreate it.(permisson etc.) And yes, the calendar is set as public as in guide.

          1) What version update of Booking Calendar do you use ? If you are using not the latest update 7.0 then please update it.
          You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

          2) Please check that you are have some events in the Google calendar that relative to some of your booking resources,
          before today date (may be you just do not have there events).

          Then please recheck that these events was not imported already as bookings (you can test it with some new created booking resource, which do not have any bookings at all).

          Then open the Booking Listing page, click on the "Import" button at the "Actions" toolbar and configure correctly parameters in the popup window,
          check the results. Be sure, that selected parameters in the popup window fit to your events parameters.

          Also recheck the Sync parameters at the Booking > Settings > Import page.

          3) Otherwise, please send screenshot of your settings from Booking > Settings > Import page
          and screenshot of page, after you clicked on "Import button" at the booking listing page at action toolbar. Probably its have to show some warning or error.

      2) If the 1st point does not help, so then you are having some JavaScript error at the page. And we need to fix it.
      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

      Sorry, I do not clear understand about your question.
      1) If you asking about the configuration of fee in Booking Calendar, so then in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions, you can configure some additional cost for the booking depend from the selected options in booking form. Please check more here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
      So in case if you have configured there some fee, of course you can set this fee to 0.
      2) If you asking about the cost of the Booking Calendar version. We are using FastSpring as our authorized reseller. Its means that you will be charged by FastSpring.
      Depend from your billing country you have to be able to enter your VAT number (or other tax) for verification at the checkout page during entering your billing details.

  9. Hi,
    I'm using MultiUser License and do have following problem.
    When a user logs in to his personal backend and wants to manually add a booking there is only the default form available and not the one configured and assigned for the frontend.
    Especially the defined time slots are not showing in the users backend. There only default values 10:00 to 12:00, 12:00 to 02:00 etc. avbailable.

    I need exactly the same form for "add booking" as in the frontend.
    This has to be possible but I can't figure out how.

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, its does not possible to assign specific booking form to "regular user", if you was created this booking form when you was logged in as "super booking admin user".
      You need to log in as specific "regular user" and then configure your booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
      But its will not work, if you will configure some custom booking form, when you logged in as super booking admin user.

      In future updates of plugin, we will add possibility to create/configure of booking form of specific regular user, when you logged in as super booking admin user, but currently it does not possible. Sorry.
