Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. Booking Calendar MultiUser - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus each registered WordPress user of your site can have independent, individual, own booking admin panel. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     1. I am looking to achieve a fairly simple configuration for my website:

    - Starting March 31st through May 31st Mon-Fri, there are 12 slots available a day that people can sign up for (they are not attached to a specific time).

    - Anyone can come on and schedule 1 of those 12 slots until there are no more. People do not have to pay money to reserve a slot, they just have to submit their information.

    2. There aren’t any basic controls to change the display fo the calendar / form. Do I have to have my developers do it? I really just want to make the calendar 2-3 x larger and display the sign up form on the right hand side of it.

    I have a problem with the form fields available for billing. Unfortunately I don't see all the fields that are available in my form. Only a few fields are available to me.

    Another question regarding invoicing. The pdf is sent automatically by email? Is it possible to edit an invoice and send it later?

    • Hello.
      1) I do not sure that clearly understood about the issue with form fields.
      Please, note you can assign specific form fields to the specific billing form fields at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
      Also please note, different payment systems can get the different number of form fields as pre-filled billing form fields from the booking form.
      If you have some other issue, please explain about it more detail. Please send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

      2) Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support attachments in the emails and do not have some specific invoice system. It not possible to send the invoice, as pdf after the booking process. Sorry.

        Sorry, I was not clear enough in my previous message. I have a problem with the choice of billing form fields visible in the drop-down list. I do not have all the fields from my booking form. adress, postal code, city are not visible but i need it (https://www.zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/07/7lnk.png).

          System get fields from the “Standard form” at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
          So you need to be sure that the standard form contain all form fields that exist in any other custom booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

                • Hello.
                  Booking Calendar have no  internal invoice system. You will be need to  use some other plugin  for invoicing.

                  Or you can reconfigure the email templates (at the Booking > Settings > Emails page),  for looking it like an invoice.

                  For example,  you can  reconfigure the "Payment request" email  template at the Booking > Settings > Emails page,  and then  send this email (as invoice) for your visitors from  the Booking Listing  page.

                      It’s only for auto filling of bilking form fields by data from the booking form at the payment form after clicking on “Pay now” button.
                      Such fields will be auto filled in PayPal or Authorize.net systems, etc...

  4. Good afternoon,

    we are using de MultiUser SingleSite 8.7.8 version of your software and are having some trouble trying to configure different aspects. One of them that is driving us mad is the editing of the content of the reservation fields in the form area. After a customer receives a booking confirmation/cancellation... mail, the [content] shortcode shows information which is of no use to us. We pretend to get this information as part of that shortcode:

    Nombre:[name]
    Apellidos:[secondname]
    Correo electrónico:[email]
    Teléfono:[phone]
    Dirección:[address]
    Adultos: [visitors]
    Niños: [children]
    Detalles: [details]
    Coste total: [cost]
    Fecha de entrada: [check_in_date]
    Fecha de salida: [check_out_date]

    But get a totally different content even having chosen the correct booking form.

      Please note, in the Booking Calendar MultiUser version each "regular user" have own custom configuration of the booking form, and "Content of booking fields data" form, that you show in your comment.
      That's why please recheck what booking resource having that booking. After this open the Booking > Resources page and recheck how is owner of that booking resource. After this login with this specific "regular user" and re-configure the "Content of booking fields data" form of this user at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

    i am thinking of upgrading the small business version but i want to know before if do it if any of the versions all me to do the following which i thought i could do with the small business.

    My client has an emergency plumbing business and wants to allow the customers to book emergency appointments using only 1 calendar because currently he is the only person that will be taking on the appointments and cant not over book himself otherwise he will have to disappoint some of the pending appointments.

    the appointment options are as follows:

    Plumbing Engineer £85
    Heating Engineer £95
    Gas Engineer £125

    each appointment is 2 hour slots.

    At the moment i have 3 resources with the 3 pricing options but each have separate calendars.

    Can you help and advice please?

      You can have these items:

      as options in the select-box, and to have only one calendar.
      In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to set the additional cost for the option selection in the select-boxes. In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to configure additional costs for selected options in the select boxes or check boxes (such options can be hidden and checked by default). It's useful in case, if you need to add the tax cost or cleaning fee or any other additional cost for the booking. You can configure it at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.       You can upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your existing version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of the General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

    In my particular case, I have a basketball court which can be booked in 3 different ways: full court and 2 half-courts for playing small matches in small teams.

    The question is.. Is there any Booking Calendar Plugin Version which can allow me control this situation:
    - If full court is booked, the 2 half courts options must be marked as non available.
    - If a half court is booked, the other half-court can be still booked and it can be avilable, but automatically the full court option has to be non available.

    I hope you can understand me and let me know is there is some way to carry this out using some version.

    I don't know if the conditionals option is available.

      Yes, it’s possible to make such configuration with aggregate parameter. Please check more here

      I will explain it in example of booking separately rooms (your half courts) and entire house (your full court). Please note, all such separate properties will be have the separate booking forms with calendars at front-end side of your website. Its means that you can book entire house, or specific room at separate booking form.

      So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources) if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resources), so then it’s possible to configure it with “aggregate” parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( its possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar).

      This parameter make the dates in calendar unavailable if these dates was booked in some other booking resources.

      Example of your configuration :

      Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:

      - House ( ID = 3 )
      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )

      And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes like this

      House
      [booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]

    I am trying to install booking calendar on my new site. Used it in the past and worked like a charm. But now the only calendar I see is in the backend. The front end only says "calendar loading", but does not load anything. Were do I go about it wrong?

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      2) Otherwise It seems that you are using the old version of Booking Calendar and you have updated to the latest update of WordPress.
      Because of that you are having this issue. Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
      It has to resolve the issue of not showing the calendar at the latest update of WordPress.
      In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      3) Finally, it can be because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason for this issue.

      It's because of the CSS conflict with your theme.
      Please find in your theme this css code:

      and replace it to this:

          margin-left: 0px !important;
      }

      Please note, it's inline code in your theme, so it's somewhere in the settings of your theme. Please recheck it, or contact support of your theme to resolve this issue.

      Yes, it's possible. You can configure time slots selection (with 30 minutes interval), for example:

      Or you can use start time selection and duration of time selection fields (duration will be 30 minutes). It's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.

        • Hello.
          You can set cost per 1 hour at the Booking > Settings > Payment page, and then configure costs at the Booking > Resources page.

          In case if you need to set the different cost for each 30 minutes interval, for example for 100 USD for 08:00 - 08:30 and 200 USD for 18:00 - 18:30m
          then it's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
          In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to configure additional costs for selected options in the select boxes or check boxes (such options can be hidden and checked by default). It's useful in case, if you need to add the tax cost or cleaning fee or any other additional cost for the booking. You can configure it at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.   10. Hi there!

    Can someone help me, please? I have the smallest paid version. I have 9 different resources. When I am importing the booking details to the google calendar, all the details are there, Name, Email, Phone, all the details importing nicely expect the most important the name of the resource. So the importing process working fine, but in the google calendar the name of the booked resource not visible but everything else yes. Can someone help me please how can I solve this?

    • Hello.
      Please note, the reason why the booking resources title is not exported into the .ics feed, it's because one feed belong to one booking resource. It's means that when you use .ics feed for importing bookings into the Google Calendar or in some other service, you are getting URL of the .ics feed from the Booking > Settings > Sync > "Export - .ics" page that is already BELONGING to the specific booking resource. And thats why Booking Calendar doe snot support exporting of the resource title in the .ics feed content, because one .ics feed belong to specific booking resource.

      Also usually you need to import bookings, in booking.com or in some other services into the different calendars (booking resources), and not import all bookings only into only one resource (calendar).
