  1. Hello,

    I have the single site small business version. When I put the shortcode into my page it does not generate a calendar or booking form (when I go to the view page it just shows the text).
    I have unistalled each of my plugins one by one and that is not causing the problem, and I have also tried switching themes...

    Please help, I can't even get past the first step...

    • Hello.
      Probably during inserting the Booking Calendar shortcode into the post or page, its was messed with some other HTML tags.

      So please remove the exist shortcode from your page, and then try to reinsert it. Please try to insert this shortcode, while your content editor switched from the "Visual" to "Text" view mode. So you can see that there is no any messed HTML tags.

  2. Hi is there a way to change the colours and style of the "send button" and have a "Book Now" button on the free version?

    • Hello.
      You can make customization like this.
      Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/css/client.css

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article )

      then add this code to the bottom of this file:

      .wpbc-payment-form .btn, 
      .wpbc-payment-form .button, 
      .booking_form_div .btn, 
      .booking_form_div .button, 
      .booking_form_div .submit, 
      .booking_form_div .button-secondary {
          background: #e99 !important;
          border-color: #d99 !important;
          color: #fff !important;
          text-shadow: none !important;

      Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.

      Of course, you can set there colors, as you need.

  3. Hi,

    I have the small business version of the plugin. How do I disable payments? We won't be taking any payments from customers. I looked in Settings -> Payments but couldn't see any way of disabling it there. Thanks!

    • Hello.
      You need to disable each payment gateways at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. After this it’s will not show payment form after the booking process.

  4. I have the free version of the plugin. Is there a way to export then reimport the bookings I already have for a new install on a new website?

    • Hello.
      Here is general info about migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).

      1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.

      2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder} of old website to new website.

      According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.

      3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.

      4) Also you will be need to backup and restore some records from the wp_options table, where option_name fields are starting from the "booking_" term.

      Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.

      SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE 'booking%'

      After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.

      1) Please note, currently communications or support possible only in English language.
      2) You can configure the number of adults and children to select at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
      For example:

           <p>Adults:  [select visitors class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"] Children: [select children class:col-md-1 "0" "1" "2" "3"]</p>

    Hi there,

    I've got an issue using the booking function on a homemade secured page.

    I use a GET var on the page as a token, then use the fopen function to load my WP page with the booking calendar, and pre-fill some form fields with javascript.

    But when I try to book a date, it returns this message : "Erreur! La requette n'a pas passé la vérification de sécurité! Veuillez rafraichir la page et essayer encore une fois." (Security check issue)

    Would you know how to do to solve this ?

    PS : I already use a plugin Paid Member Subscription, but in my case, I precisely need not to use the Member plugin in my WP, and just use the token to secure the page and obtain the user data.

    • Hello.
      1) This issue, usually appear, when you are having some cache system. Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      2) Otherwise, probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

        Seems to be the second one, I don't use any Cache plugin (at least, none that I would have installed as a plugin)

        What I can note is that :
        - when I'm logged in with the Paid Member Subscription plugin and go on a "normal" WP page with the Booking Calendar plugin, I don't have any issue
        - when I'm logged in with the Paid Member Subscription plugin and use my method (token with GET var and fopen), I've the security check issue
        - when I open a private window on my browser, and go on my page (GET token + fopen), as a simple visitor unlogged, I don't have any issue

        Seems to have a conflict with this plugin (Paid Member Subscription from Cozmoslabs)

        In your plugin, I've checked the option "Pre-fill form for logged in users";
        Has this option been added by the PMS Plugin ?
        Is that possible this option is the origin of my issue ?

          1) Its seems like this "Paid Member Subscription plugin" is making some caching. That message is means that the "nonce" field was not updated with new value. We need to have this nonce field in the Booking Calendar form, for preventing of some XSS attack. Its standard practice in the WordPress to have in the form the nonce fields. And its seems, because of that Paid Member Subscription plugin this field is not updating. So please contact support of this Paid Member Subscription plugin relative resolving issue of not caching page or making it blank.

          2) Realtive this:

          "Pre-fill form for logged in users";
          Has this option been added by the PMS Plugin ?

          No, its standard functionality of Booking Calendar.
          Its possible to auto fill "First Name", "Second Name" and "Email" fields in booking form from the user profile, if the user was logged in to admin panel.
          To activate this feature, please open the Booking > Settings General page and in From section set this option " Auto-fill fields " as checked.

    Is it possible to add upload fields to the forms? My client wants people who fill out the form to be able to upload photos.

    • Hello.

      Booking Calendar does not support the upload or attachments during booking process. Sorry.

      If you need that visitor upload some file during booking process, then please configure in the email template (that sending to the visitor, after visitor made the booking) some link to the secret page, where will be exist some form for uploading files.

      For uploading files, please use some other plugin, then just insert into that "secret" page some form for ability to upload file by your visitor.

  9. Hi,

    Another few questions on the small business version:
    1. The 'thank you' message doesn't appear on the page after submit, it appears to be wrapped up in the form (which is set to 'display: none'). Is this a bug or is there some way around this? Thanks!
    2. In the email conformation, is there a way to not show any fields that are not filled in?
    3. Is there a way to block off specific dates in the backend as unavailable? I know you can block out certain weekedays or weekends etc, but if for example you want to block off a specific date like March 22 or April 5 or whatever, can you do that in WordPress somewhere?

    • Hello.
      1) Please be sure that you have correctly configured the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
      You need to be sure that each opened HTML tag (like <div> or <p> ) have relative closing tag, like </div> or </p>

      2) Sorry, such conditions is not possible in the emails.

      3) Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions via season filters. Check more about this feature here:

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

      In your Booking Calendar Business Small version the only way to block some dates, its to make the blank bookings at the Booking > Add booking page. You can make fast blank bookings at the Booking > Add booking page by using "Auto fill" button at the toolbar at Booking > Add booking page. Watch it in this video guide
