  1. Hi, I want to use your calendars for photography studio session bookings on specific promotions. Thus, I want to be able to add a calendar with availability for specified time slots on certain days, eg, 10-11, 12-1, 3-4 on tuesdays and wednesdays, and 11-12, 2-3, 5-6 on fridays, repeated over 2 or 3 weeks, for example.

    What is the easiest way to do this?

      • Thats really really dissapointing. I bought it for the express reason of being able to upload a calendar and make specific time slots and specific days available for clients to book on my two different websites. I need to be able to control when I shoot and how many in a day, and for what studio. If this is not possible in the small business version, can I have a refund please? A calendar that allows clients to book whenenver they want is of no use to me and I need to look elsewhere. I had a shortlist of other possibles, but no where did I see that this would only be possible with the very expensive versions.

  2. Hi,

    I have the small business version of the plugin. In the email templates, is there a way to exclude any fields that are not filled in from appearing? Or can you point me to the correct php file to edit to make this happen? Thanks.

    • Hello.
      If some field was not filled, then the content of this field will be empty in email and in "Content of booking fields data" form (which is used at the Booking > Settings > Form page for [content] shortcode in emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page).

      But the Labels near the fields (in the emails and in "Content of booking fields data" form ), of course will not be removed. Such labels just simple text that exist near form fields shortcodes, so in reality there is not some type of assignments labels to shortcode fields.
      You can check it at the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Form page for more understanding, what I have mean.

      • Yes, I need those labels not to appear in the emails if the input fields haven't been filled in. Is there no way of doing this?

  3. This issue just started on the Admin Booking Panel. The standard fields are all blank and new fields are shown below.and repeating as Details. How can this be fixed?

    In the Booking Listing under the heading Booking Data here's what it shows on bookings.

      1) First of all, please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.4.6
      You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page:

      2) Also please be sure that you have correctly configured the “Content of booking fields data” form at the Booking > Settings > Form page for each Custom booking forms (if you are using several custom booking forms in Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
      And you have selected specific custom booking form as default at the Booking > Resources page for Loading relative booking data to specific custom form.

  4. "Warning! Booking Calendar. Its seems that you have deactivated loading of Bootstrap JS files at Booking Settings General page in Advanced section."
    When i press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for any specific booking.
    The test email through the Booking > Settings > Emails > Payment request, works fine.

            And the mail is not sent

    • Of course i´ve checked it in Booking > Settings > Advanced > Javascript , and all the checkbox are disabled.

    I would like to reserve multiple rooms (resources) at once in the same reservation. I have Business Large SingleSite-version.

      1) In the Booking Calendar Business Large version possible to book several child booking resources In calendar of parent booking resource with specific capacity, depend from the selection of “visitors” shortcode.

      Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources:

      At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).

      2) Other option it’s to use several calendars for different booking resources and only one booking form. So you can book several booking resources during one booking proces.

    I'm using booking calendar 8.4.4.

    I'd like to integrate Google Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking, which measures the checkouts.

    "Measuring Checkout Process"
    "Step 1 - Payment"
    "Measuring a Transaction"

    I'm wondering if you have any recommendations, on this, and where we need to input the code.

    • Hello.
      By default the actual versions does not support the integration with "Google Analytics".

      Please note, you can define the "redirection to the "Thank you" page after the booking process. And then define this code at the new "Thank you page", so you can track bookings in such way. You can configure the redirection to the "thank you" page at the Booking > Settings General page in Form section.

      2) Otherwise if you need to add your JavaScript code for tracking bookings, so then you can try to add it inside of this file: ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/js/client.js

      inside of this function content:

      // Gathering params for sending Ajax request and then send it
      function form_submit_send( bk_type, formdata, captcha_chalange, user_captcha ,wpdev_active_locale){

    If you look at the following post (below), we integrated the commission system using file `biz_s.php`, which integrates before the checkout "thank you page".

    If you read the Google Analytics tracking, there are two tracking methods.

    "add to cart"

    e.g. for booking calendar:
    "pending booking"
    "approved booking"

    inside of this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/_bs/biz_s.php

  8. Hi, Is there any way to increase the payment or cost of the amount to be paid at that time [balance_hint] according to the payment method?
    For example, increase the cost if the client decides to pay by paypal in 3.4% of the amount to be paid at that moment (deposit or remainder of the amount).

    Apparently it can not be done directly at the time of making the payment, neither I believe that arithmetic operations can be done with fields shortcode directly in the form, I think the only site to be able to operate with them is in the advanced cost menu. So I tried to create in the form, a checkbox choosing the form of payment, which returns the variable calculated in the advanced cost menu, but the problem is that, on the one hand it gives me a fixed value instead of a percentage, and on the other hand, the calculation of % that the drop-down ones in this menu admit is about the total cost [cost], it does not admit about the payment that is really going to be done at every moment. There is no easier way to make that distinction?

      Unfortunately, its does not possible to set automatic increase of cost if the visitor click on PayPal button.

      You can add the checkbox at the Booking > Settings > Form page:

      Payment by  PayPal: [checkbox paypalpayment ""]

      And then at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page set additional cost like this:

      paypalpayment = 103,4 "% of total cost"

      So total cost of the booking will be increase on 3,4%
      in the booking form you can show the total booking cost by using [cost_hint] shortcode in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
      Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

      • Thank you. Can I use the shortcodes [original_cost_hint] and [payment_cost_hint] in the advanced cost menu for arithmetic operations? Since it does not recognize it directly. Can I define them in the form to be recognized by the advanced cost menu for the purposes of arithmetic calculations?
        Since that way I could compose my prices one by one in that menu, but if the first of all that is the original cost is not recognized, I can not do anything.

  9. We have a multilingual site (3 languages) with Polylang plugin.
    Everything works fine in three languages, except the search results.
    The search results template in [bookingsearchresults] is translated, but the pages being shown in the search results are always in the default language. In the search cache, I see that only the default version of each resource page is indexed, not the translated pages.
    In English, users need to see English pages in search results, in French, they need to see French pages... Anything that can be done about this?

      Please note, Booking Calendar support wpml and qTranslate plugins, as in descriptions in this faq article:

      Other translations was not tested and not fully supported. Relative search results only functions of wpml and qTranslate plugins exist in Booking Calendar for correct showing search results.
