  1. Business Small SingleSite 8.4.6
    Wordpress: 4.9.10

    Hi,

I am trying to configure the booking system for weekly bookings, the bookings run Saturday PM to Saturday AM. I am using the range option to select 7 days , and 7,14,21 to allow up to 3 weeks to be booked at time.

All looks good when the booking is being made, however once the booking is submitted the calender is showing a booking from Saturday PM to Friday AM.

If I change the range option to select 8 days and 8,16,24 , then once the booking is submitted the calendar displays correctly (ie Saturday-Saturday), however now i cannot make booking for the week immediately prior to an existing booking.

please could you advise what settings i need to use to meet my objective.

    Thanks

    Andy

  2. Hi,
Your system constantly sents me updates for the new booking system update BUT it doesn't work. After installing I continue to get the error as if my update was not for the correct version. We purchased a version in order to allow 2 bookings on 1 page, this worked fine until your booking plugin needed the update for WP 5.0 and beyond.
Every time I reply that the plugin is not working you send me the same plugin to be downloaded and installed but it's NOT the correct one that allows me to set 2 calendars on 1 page!
Please help me out on this so we can make that site work again...
    thanks,

  3. Hello People,

I have a question on what would be the best way to implement my situation into Booking Calendar.
People can rent a cottage. They can select how long their duration is, They can either choose from:
    Monday untill Friday (5 days)
Friday's untill next week Friday (7 days)
    Fridays untill monday (4 days)

How can i force this behaviour in the calender of the booking form?
I do now i can force them into having to select multiple days. But i do not know how to force this kind of behavior into the booking calender

  4. Hello, I've created a 2 step booking form below, but the "Go back" button doesn't work. This code was copied from a form which does work fine. How do I make it work for the second form? Many thanks, Sharon.

  5. Hello. I am using the format below for the approved message:
Your reservation for: [dates] has been approved!
    [content]

    Thank you, Ηuman Εnergy Τouch
    [siteurl]

[lang=el]Το αίτημα σας για την ημερομηνία: [dates] έγινε αποδεκτό.

    [content]

    Ευχαριστούμε πολύ, Ηuman Εnergy Τouch
    [siteurl]
My issue is that the approved message is always in english while the New(visitor) changes between the 2 languages correctly(greek and english).I use the same format for both. I even tried copying the text of the approved message and it still didnt work

    • Hello.
You need to switch the language of admin panel and then approve the booking. System send email in the language of your admin panel.

Please note, if you do not use any translation plugins so then you can use “globe” icon near specific booking to change the language and then approve the booking.
      Kind Regards.

  6. Hi,
I am considering buying the personal version.
Can you please tell me if the admin panel (in which bookings are approved) is a normal page in WP under a password for the booking-admin?
Also can I extend the Timeline over the full page width?
Third is the price a one time price or is it a subscription for a limited time.

    Thanks for your answers

    • Hello.
      1) Yes, the booking admin panel located in your usual WordPress admin panel.
      2) The Timeline by default take 100% of the page or section in a page, where Timeline have been inserted.
      3) It's one time cost. You can use your purchased version of Booking Calendar as long as you need on your website.

Also, you can request free updates your version of Booking Calendar (if such updates ready) during 6 months after purchase of plugin.
If you will need to extend period (of support and getting free updates) to the next 6 months, it will cost 50% from the original cost.
      Kind Regards.

  7. Hi

Is it possible to show a weekly instead of monthly calendar on the front-end site, showing available time-slots for the days of the selected week? I have not been able to identify this option. If this option is available, is it available in all version or only in specific premium versions?

    Cheers, Bart

    • Hello.
Booking Calendar support only inline month view calendar, where possible to select the date(s) and then select times in the booking form and submit the booking form.

But its also possible to show the Timeline view, which the similar view to Calendar Overview page in admin panel, but only in Read only mode. Its can look like in this example https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
But please note, such Timeline view only show booked and available dates/times, and does not have ability to submit the booking.
Please read more how easily insert booking form or availability calendar into a pages https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ or how manually configure Booking Calendar shortcodes in content of your pages: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

      Kind Regards.

      • Thanks for the reply. The timeline is pretty much what I'm looking for. However, I could not figure out how to set the timeline to show 15 minute time intervals. It only shows hourly intervals and when a booking is only made for half an hour (say from 9:00-9:30) it show the whole hour (9:00-10:00) as unavailable. Is there a way to change the time intervals in the timeline?

    • Hello.

      1) You can activate this option "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)" at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section, , if you want to set any days as available in calendar. Your visitors will be able to make unlimited bookings per same date(s) in calendar and do not see any booked date(s) of other visitors.

      2) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity

You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/

At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/

You can check overview of different Booking Calendar versions at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also you can test live demos https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

Please watch more useful video guides here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/

      Kind Regards.

  8. This is a new question. I have read FAQ and reviewed videos but I am still lost. I installed and activated the plugin in my site elderspirit.org Now I want to change color settings etc. and am directed to CSS but I don't know where that is. I also want to edit the questions in the booking form. How do I do that? There are references to a sidebar. I do not use a sidebar on my page. The plugin is placed in a SiteOrigin cell which is what I use for editing/ layout. The calendar version is 8.4.6 and I'm using WordPress 5.2.1 Please help.

  9. I am trying to save multiple day selection on Settings -> Type of days selection in calendar -> Multiple Days, I click save and it says Changes Saved but if I refresh page, the Single Day is marked instead.

    • Hello.
      1) Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar.
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.

      3) Otherwise you can check about conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.

      4) Finally, please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

      Kind Regards.
