Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors.     Например: студент нашел преподавателя, и хочет забронировать у него урок. Предварительно оплачивает и бронь проходит.

      2) Probably you need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version.
      In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings).       Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them.   2. Hello,

    We use the confirmation emails as invoices. It works well for all standard cases.

    However sometimes, the admin creates a reservation manually and would like to change price. Is there a way to define the price when creating a reservation ? "As is" it's not possible because admin sees the same form as clients.

      You need to use [cost_corrections] shortcode in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page to show field for entering cost only at the Booking > Add booking page in Admin panel.

      It’s available only in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

          It’s change the cost that is saved to the “cost” field at the Booking Listing page.
          Please note, if you activated the deposit option, so there is saved deposit amount. That is reason why it’s saved so.

  3. Hello.

    Is it possible to make a comment/note to the booking when clicking approve? E.g. when I approve a request, I want to send a textmessage together with the confirmation saying “Thank you for your request, please note that the weather seems to be rainy”. How do I make this kind of comment/note to the customer?

      Its possible,  if you will  approve the booking at the Booking Listing  page,  by  selecting specific booking,  and then clicking on "Approve" button at  the Actions toolbar,  and near this button,  in the "reason  of cancellation" field you can write your note. Its working also  for approving.
      In the Booking > Settings > Emails page in Approved email  template please use this shortcode:   [approvereason] or   [denyreason]

  4. Hi, we are using Business Small SingleSite 8.6
    is it possible to show a front-end daily timeline with all booked slots (only a few out of all our ressources) and only anonymously? I don't want people to see all our backend-information (so e.g. the name of the booker) and not the further booking details like email / remarks / etc. It seems possible with "Booking Manager" when exporting to external sites, but I don't find a way to do this on-site.
    I have tried the shortcode [bookingtimeline type='1,2,3,4,5' view_days_num=1 header_title='All Bookings' scroll_day=1] but this still gives me the name of the booker.
    Also: Can I have a day-picker in a timeline-page?

    Is it possible to let your customers only book until 2 days in advance (so they can't book on the day of the appointment)?

  6. I'm looking to add an upload field to one of my forms that is required for registration. I'm not seeing an upload option in the tag generation. Does an upload field exist?

    • Hello. 

      Booking Calendar does not support the upload or attachments during booking process. Sorry.
      If you need that visitor upload some file during booking process,  then  please configure in the email template (that  sending to the visitor,  after  visitor made the booking) some link to the secret page,  where will be exist  some form for uploading files.

      For uploading files, please use some other plugin, then  just  insert  into  that  "secret" page some form  for ability to upload file by  your visitor.

  7. I'm having a problem with valuation days - I'm on the middle license.

    I have a season filter set up for five days from 27/7- 31/7 and another filter set up for 3rd August 2020 - 7th August 2020.

    The normal price is £33 per day, but I would like it if they book a full week - five consecutive days that the price is £150.

    In valuation days I have tried two different scenarios (separately) but neither of them work, I've tried
    1) Together 5 days =£150 £ for all days in the season - but if I book five days in either week (different seasons) they see the £150, when they should only see £150 if they book five days in the same season.
    2) For 5 day = £30 per 1 day in the season - but when I book five days it shows the standard price of 5 x £33

    Neither of these options are working, and yet I am convinced I've set them up correctly. When I test I have all other valuation days unticked so only the one i am testing.

      Usually the first configuration is correct. But here is limitations from using of “Valuation days”: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days

      "Valuation days" can apply for any days. Or in case if you need apply it to specific season, then it can depend only from the belonging "check in day" to specific season. Its means that, if you select 2 weeks, the "Valuation days" can apply costs only depending from the check in day belonging to specific season, even if some other days belonging to other season. In other words, if you will have the days selection with season intersections, then you can have an issue with "Valuation days". Basically "Valuation days" is useful, in case, if you need to set some discount or higher cost depend from the number of selected days. For example if visitor select 7 or more days, then booking will have 10% discount, etc...

      • I understand what you are saying but logically that doesn't work.

        How would you apply a discount to five consecutive dates booked in one season? I don't understand why you would give someone a special price if days are booked outside of the season.

          For such season (if you have only 5 days in such season), you can define as start day of selection specific day at the beginning of this season and ability to select only 5 days. In other words you will be able to select only these 5 days during this season.

          • There are only five days in a season, if they book a couple of days it is one price but if they book all five days it is discounted - can I not do this?

              You can do this for any seasons, or only if selection will start with check in day in this season.
              So you need to configure it like this:

              Together 5 days =£150 if check  in day  in "Your season"

                But if they choose one of the days from another season it still applies the discount.

                I would like it so that they only get the discount if they choose five days in the current season.

                  Unfortunately it’s does not possible by default.
                  You can try this trick.
                  You need to have that the season ended before 4 days to start of new season. So you will have 4 days that does not include into the season, before days of other new season.
                  Because “Valuation days” can depend from belonging to the specific season of only check in days.

    I need an information. I would like to know if it is possible to enter multiple bookings at the same time? If it is possible which function devotion?

      Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry. Please check my suggestion bellow.

      A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted timeslots.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      B) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots).       At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).       Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in Booking Calendar Business Large version for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.

  9. I am just getting my head around Booking Calendar Business Medium and accidentally deleted the resource all the bookings were attached to. Is there a way to get a resource back or to move bookings to a new resource?

    I have tried to recreate the resource but it adds them as incrementally higher numbers.
