  1. Hello! I purchased the Booking Calendar plugin for my current website. I have built a new website and need to move the plugin to the new site. How do I go about getting/installing the plugin I have onto the new site? Thank you!

  2. Hi,
    I have this bookingcalendar on my website. When someone enters a reservation, he gets the following message: ' could not instatiate email'. But the booking was correct.
    What can I do about it?

    • Hello.
      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
      Kind Regards.

  3. Hello Booking-Calendar Team,
    I´m very interested in your plugin, but can I combine this Plugin with Booking.com? For example when someone booked on Booking.com does it block the date on my site as well?

    Best wishes
    Anna Stehr

    • Hello.
      Booking Calendar plugin is supporting
      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)
      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

      Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      Export. Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      Kind Regards.

  4. Hello there...
    Is it possible for the hotel customer to buy some other items, together with renting the room?

    For example my hotel has some packages that the customer can buy, when he books the room. For example the customer to add a bottle of sampaign to be in the room by the time he arrives. There is al list of such things the customer should be able to buy.

    Is it possible to add such list, and when the customer pays, he pays for the room and for the extra things he choosed.

  5. Hello, I have installed the free version . The calendar is set up and works so far. But: With the attitude that only bookings can be made on Fridays, random days are indicated as free and some random days displayed as not bookable. although there are no bookings. how can this or how can I change that? I can not find any attitude.

    Another question: In which version can I specifically block certain days, means define them as not bookable (f.e. every third Friday)...

    Thanks!

    • Hello.
      1) Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Availability section, please be sure that all options for "Unavailable week days" as unchecked - so its means available days.
      Otherwise probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

      2) The ability to define as unavailable specific days based on season filters possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
      Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/

      You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind Regards.

    • Hello.

      This issue because of CSS conflict with your actual theme. For fixing this issue, please open this file
      http://sikem.dk/FestiCity/wp-content/themes/betheme/css/shortcodes.css
      find these lines:

      /* Table */
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th{background:none}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:first-child td{background:none}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th,.style-simple table td{border-width:0 1px 1px 0}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr td:last-child,.style-simple table tr th:last-child{border-right:0}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:last-child td{border-bottom:0}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:nth-child(2n) td{background:none;}

      and replace it to this:

      /* Table */
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th{background:none}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:first-child td{background:none}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th,.style-simple table td{border-width:0 1px 1px 0}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr td:last-child,.style-simple table tr th:last-child{border-right:0}
      .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:last-child td{border-bottom:0}
      /* .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:nth-child(2n) td{background:none;} */

      Kind Regards.

  6. I need to setup the bookings to only be available on the first and third Thursday of every month, with timeslots for 30 minutes at 11, 11:30, 12, 12:30. I can create the timeslots in the form just fine, but I can't figure out how to limit the availability to just the first and third Thursdays. If the plugin can't accommodate that then I need to look elsewhere for something that will, but I'm hoping there is an answer to this problem.

    • Hello.
      You can define only be available on the first and third Thursday of every month in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions via season filters.
      You need to create the season filter at the Booking > Resources > Filters page by clicking on "Create Dates filter" button and then select for this filter only the first and third Thursday of every months. Then you can set as available only for these weekdays in this season at the Booking > Resources > Availability page.
      Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
      Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/

      You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
      Kind Regards.

  7. Hello,

    I'm currently working with the small business version and I'm experiencing some issues with calendar sync.

    I'm trying to import ical from booking.com. It seems that the 3 bookings (marked as CLOSED by booking) just didn't appear on my ressource calendar after import (both manual and shortcode). These events are detected during import process as far as the [booking-manager-lisiting ...] version of my shortcode display them correctly and the manuel import message said: "3 events detected...". It looks like event are correct stored but not displayed.

    Can you help me about that ?

    Thank you,
    Kind regards

  8. Ref Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.8.0
    The calendar has stopped showing on our web page, but all the form details show. It just says calendar loading

    Can you please advise

    Thanks

    • Hello.
      Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

      You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

      If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
      Kind Regards.

  9. Hello,

    I've purchased business small version of booking calendar. I'm using 3 monhts calendar.
    I want to put limit for users. For example every user can book only once. They shouldn't be able to book again until my approve. Is there any option like that?

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, such functionality does not available in the Booking Calendar versions.
      You can activate other feature. You can activate this option "Use pending days as available" at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.
      So all days in calendar will be available, until you do not approve some booking(s). In other words, you will need to control (approve) every booking, that is making at your website. Otherwise such bookings will have pending status and such bookings will not mark the dates as unavailable in calendar at the front-end side.
      Kind Regards.
