  1. Hello

    We rent trailers and would have to adjust the times for the return date in our calendar. The calendar only takes the time from the first selected date. We have activated this with the time span. On Saturday, for example, the customer only return the trailer until 12.00 o'clock. On weekdays Monday - Friday 07:30 / 12:00 / 13:00 / 17:30. On Sunday cant be an end date. Is there also a way to limit the time for the last day/time? We have already tried Rangetime but here only the start day is chosen.

      Unfortunately, its does not possible to set the different end times selection depending from the last selected day in calendar. Sorry.
      The times fields can depend (can be different) only from the start day of selection (check in) day:
      But its can not depend from the last selected date.

      Visitor can select any end time that is available in the booking form. Please note, you need to be sure that this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" was unchecked at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section, so then the start time and end time will apply to check in/out dates only.

  2. Hello.

    Is there a way to order the resources list in the admin, at the "Booking" page? I have many similar resources which were created in diferent dates, so they are not ordered, and it takes work to check all the bookings dor similar resources.

    If I could order the list "A to Z" would be perfect, but I could not find how to do it. Is there a way?

    • Hello.
      In latest version updates of Booking Calendar all booking resources at the Booking > Resources page and in Calendar Overview page is ordering by Name. In Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version the booking resources are ordering by priority column, which you can change at the Booking > Resources page.

      In Booking Listing page the bookings are ordering by sort field in Filter toolbar.

      So please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar. You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page:

  3. Wrong WordPress Admin Email used during import.

    Hello I have more than 1 Admin for wordpress site.

    Right now, when importing from AIRBNB, Booking Calendar uses WP ADMIN email address.

    So 2 questions:

    1) Why does it use this and NOT the email address of the imported booking?

    2) How do I change WHICH Admin email it uses if there is no option to change this?


    • Hello.
      During import process, Booking Calendar is using the email address, that you have defined at the WordPress > Settings page in "Email Address" option.
      Its does not specific email of some WordPress admin user (but its can be).
      So you need to change it at the WordPress > Settings page in "Email Address" option.
      Or otherwise if you need to change it in source code of plugin, so then you can fix it inside of this file ../wp-content/plugins/booking-manager/core/wpbc/wpbm-bc-import.php
      in this code:

      $email = get_option ( 'admin_email' );

  4. Syncing Question
    I am on Small Business Version

    Right now this works...
    Auto sync from website to Airbnb with the Bookings wordpress plugin.
    * AirBNB is synced to HomeAway so we get all bookings from those 2 properties into the website calendar

    So any new bookings on Airbnb sync directly to site.

    * If a booking is removed from AirBNB is it removed from the website and how?
    I'm not sure that this is working correctly or cannot the system NOT do this???

    Syncing from Booking Calendar to AIRBNB
    To sync from Booking Calendar to AirBNB I have had to set up a Google calendar *manual* sync from the website database to Google Calendar.

    This Google calendar then syncs with AirBNB to reflect any bookings from the website as AIRBNB allows a Google Calendar auto sync...

    I could not get the Bookings Plugin calendar to sync directly with AirBNB - Do you know if this is normal? That is, AIRBNB does NOT allow ad-hoc URLs to sync.

    Please dont tell me it depends on AIRBNB - just tell if you know if others have done it or if it is possible with AirBNB - Im assuming you would/should know this information.

    Does this System Allow AUTO sync from Booking System TO GOOGLE CALENDAR or TO AIRBNB?

    Can I auto sync TO Google Calendar the same way I sync FROM AirBNB - that is, every time the booking page loads it imports from AirBNB with the correct shortcode embedded?

    I can only see a method for auto-importing or manual exporting.

      Please note, Booking Calendar support only import new bookings and export exist bookings from the Booking Calendar into the .ics feed (which possible to import by other services, like Airbnb).

      - If a booking is removed from AirBNB is it removed from the website and how?
      Booking Calendar does not support deleting the bookings in Booking Calendar, if some other booking was deleted in service like Airbnb.
      - Booking Calendar does not support updating the booking info in Booking Calendar, if the booking details was changed in other service, like airbnb, and this booking was imported early into the Booking Calendar.
      - Syncing from Booking Calendar to AIRBNB
      We do not have clear info, if Airbnb can access the .ics links periodically for import the bookings from the Booking Calendar. We do not have such clear info from other customers of Booking Calendar, but as far as I know its have to be possible, may be its require some additional steps in Airbnb configuration. So (I am sorry) the best way to check it to contact support of Airbnb, relative issue: "if its possible to periodically access some external .ics feed" for importing bookings into the Airbnb.

      Because Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or, about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      - "Does this System Allow AUTO sync from Booking System TO GOOGLE CALENDAR or TO AIRBNB?"
      Its the same situations with other services. Please check my previous points. Booking Calendar does not force other servcies for automatic import of bookings from exported .ics feed from the Booking Calendar.

  5. On Import Function Run on page from Shortcode, New Booking made when none exists

    I sync to AirBNB by using shortcode on page. I get a new booking made for todays date.
    Therefore I have a LOT of NONESENSE/FAKE bookings

    Notes say was IMPORTED FROM AIRBNB - No such booking exists in AIRBNB..??

    This is consistent behaviour and repeatable over and over.

    Either I have configured WRONG or there is error here.

    here is the shortcode I use:

    • Hello.
      Please try to download that .ics feed via browser, and recheck if such .ics feed contain some events for "today" date.
      Booking Calendar import only the new events that EXIST in this .ics feed. So its weird why you are having this issue.

      Otherwise you can use in the import shortcode this parameter:

      In this case, Booking Calendar will import only the events, if the dates for these events are AVAILABLE in the Booking Calendar in specific booking resource.

  6. Hi
    Great product & I think Small Business version is exactly what the non-profit I support needs.
    However, because they are very cost conscious, they would like to see a good POC (proof-of-concept) for the Small Business version. I know you have Demo sites for it, but they want to see a better use-case for their organization.
    Is there any way to provide a temporary 7-14 day license for the Small Business version?
    I believe we would make a decision within a week of seeing it.
    Again, I'm 90% sure it'll go forward, but would rather them be 100% sure.

      Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not have TRIAL versions for paid versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry.
      You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

    I've enabled the CHECK-IN/OUT time, and I'm receiving an error when the user picks a single date.
    If they pick two dates there is no error.

    `Error! Please reset your check-in/check-out dates above.

    • Hello.
      1) The purpose of using "Check in/out" times (change over days), is ability to check out for one visitor and check in of other visitor at the SAME date.

      That's means for such feature visitor need to select minimum 2 days, because if visitor select only 1 day, so then check in time will be older than check out time, what is wrong.
      That's why if you are using this change over days feature, you need to activate the "range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks" and set minimum number of days to select as 2 days. Watch it in this video guide

      2) If you need to use simple times booking for the same date, so then you need to deactivate the using "check in/out times" at the Booking > Settings General page and configures times fields at the Booking > Settings > Form page. The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here

      You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

    First of all, thank you for the fantastic support through this forum.
    I have small business version of WP Booking. When a user selects a date range and submits the form, there is a tiny call to action to pay through paypal that appears in place where the calendar was located. Can I edit that message and make it bigger so it is clear the user has to submit payment to secure the reservation. And center the message and button as well?

    It doesn't appear I can attach a screenshot here otherwise I could show you.

  9. Hello, I can't seem to locate the instructions to set up the paypal connection. Can you please share? Just need to know how to sync the business paypal account to small business booking version.

    • Hello.
      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro). The PayPal Pro integration is not supporting in the Booking Calendar!

      You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page.

      For Paypal Standard integration you need to enter your PayPal Email address at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page and Save changes.
      And for the "PayPal Pro Hosted Solution" integration you need to enter "Secure Merchant ID" at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page and Save changes.
