Issue with Exporting Bookings from personal websites to Booking.com

Issue with Exporting Bookings from Personal Websites to Booking.com:
Since March 2025, Booking.com no longer supports exporting bookings from personal or customer websites via .ics feeds. When you attempt to paste the .ics feed URL into the sync page on Booking.com, you will see an error message stating that the .ics feed is invalid, even if the feed has been validated through third-party validators like iCal Validator or iCalendar Validator.

What Happens When Uploading a Validated .ics Feed:
If you download a previously validated .ics feed (e.g., from Airbnb, which successfully imports into Booking.com) and upload it to your personal website, Booking.com will still show the same error indicating the .ics feed is invalid. This suggests that Booking.com validates .ics feeds based on the URL rather than the content of the feed.

Importing Bookings from Booking.com to Personal Websites:
It's important to note that while exporting bookings from personal websites to Booking.com is no longer supported, importing bookings from Booking.com into personal websites continues to work as expected. This means that if you wish to display your Booking.com bookings on your personal website, you can still import them via the provided .ics feed.

Supported Calendar Connections:
Currently, Booking.com's synchronization tool only supports export bookings from other OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, Expedia, and Trip.com. Direct export from personal websites to Booking.com is no longer possible.

How to Sync Bookings with Booking.com:
To work around this issue, you can sync your bookings with an OTA like Airbnb. Once your bookings are synced with the OTA, you can then export them to Booking.com through the OTA platform.

Future Changes or Reinstatement of Support:
As of now, there is no indication that Booking.com will reinstate support for exporting bookings directly from personal websites. If this policy changes, Booking.com will likely notify users of the update.

Alternative Ways to Sync Bookings:
At the moment, the only available method for exporting bookings to Booking.com is through other OTAs that support .ics feeds, such as Airbnb. You can then sync the bookings from the OTA to Booking.com.sync the bookings from the OTA to Booking.com.
