  1. Hello,
    I can change no more the status of calendars manually (for example from available to non available).
    I never used autopending features and I always change the status manually... but now it does'nt work...

      I do not sure that clearly understand your question.
      The only way to set some days as unavailable it’s to crate some booking for this day(s). If you set that pending bookings was as available days ( at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section), so then you need to approve the booking at the booking listing page.

      And of course be sure that the “all days as available” option was unchecked at the Booking > Settings General page

      Or in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to set days as unavailable based on season filters. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability

  2. Hello, i got the medium Business Calendar.

    Is there any functionality to reset the selection in the Calendar and /or the whole Form by button / script?
    I would like to show the check-in and the checkout in a text-input with disabled manual entry. How can i achieve this?

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately there is no functionality or script for ability to select dates via text fields (check in/out text fields). It’s only possible to select calendar in inline month view calendar. Its because much functionality depend from available and not available dates in calendar, range days seletion and conditional days seletion logic, which possible to use only in inline month view calendar.

      I can provide to your some JavaScript for automatic days seletion in calendar , but it’s will not work or work with issue if some dates was booked in these dates interval.

  3. Hi there,
    I have the free version. I see from changelog 8.3.2 that free users can now add options to book timeslots (rather than whole days). I cannot see an option in settings to apply this. Please can you provide guidance.

    • Hello.
      Please be sure that you are using latest update 8.3.2 of Booking Calendar. Otherwise update it.

      You can add new timeslot field at the Booking > Settings > Form page. Just be sure to select new timeslot field in toolbar to add it.

      You can watch in what’s new video (At top right side of Help menu in Booking Lusting page), about how to add timeslots.

  4. I would like to be able to book several individuals in a particular time slot that make that time slot unavailable once all spots are taken. Specifically, we are trying to book hourly spots for babysitting where up to x number of children can be booked per hour. Booking would be contingent on payment.
    We have the business medium version.

      Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar.
      Sorry.

      Please check my suggestion bellow about how to work around this.

      A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted timeslots.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      B) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots).       At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).       Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in Booking Calendar Business Large version for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.

      And only after that select the date and fill the booking form. Its can be look like this: http://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource-2/

      Or in your Booking Calendar Business Medium version you can activate the using “pending bookings as available” at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section. And timeslots in specific days will be available until you do not approve the booking for the specific booking. In this case you can receive as many bookings per timeslot as you need, but need manually to check when to approve the booking for closing specific timeslot at specific day.

  5. Hello

    I am currently using three instances of booking calendar on my website (one for renting upstairs, one for downstairs and one for whole property). Currently these calendars are ignorant of each other, a booking/booking request in one calendar will have no affect on the others, I have to manually block out the days in the other affected calendars (ie. if upstairs is rented, I can no longer offer whole property).

    Is there a way to configure booking calendar instances to be aware of each other? Something that would allow the calendars to block out days depending on bookings in the other calendars?

    • Hello.

      If you want to disable the dates in some booking resource (property) if some dates already was booked in other booking resources (upstairs/downstairs), so then you can use aggregate parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcodes.

      I will explain it in example of of booking entire house and separate rooms.

      This parameter make the dates in calendar unavailable if these dates was booked in some other booking resources.

      So you r configuration can look like this:

      Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
      - House ( ID = 3 ) - Bed #1 ( ID = 4 ) - Bed #2 ( ID = 5 ) ... - Bed #9 ( ID = 12 )

      And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes like this
      House [booking type=3 aggregate='4;5;6;7;8;9;10;11;12' ] - Bed #1 ( ID = 4 ) [booking type=4 aggregate='3' ] - Bed #2 ( ID = 5 ) [booking type=5 aggregate='3' ] ....

      If some bed will be booked for specific date(s), this dates will be unavailable in House calendar.
      And if House will be booked for specific date(s), so in all beds (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.

    I have set the form rangetimes so that time slot '08:00-13:00' has the Title 'Morning', '13:00-18:00' has the Title 'Afternoon' and '18:00-23:00' has the Title 'Evening'.
    My question is: is it possible to change the Availability calendar to show the Title (eg, Morning), not the time slot (08:00-13:00), when you roll over the icon showing a partial booking on the calendar?

  7. Hi, I'm trying to sync Google Calendar so that my client is able to add his bookings to his google calendar for better management of his schedule. But It doesn't seem to work.
    When I or he tries to add the event to the Google Calendar by either following the email link or by adding it manually with the admin panel, it opens up a new tab that goes to google calendar but it is then stuck in an infinite loading loop. Do you have a fix for this?

    I followed all the steps in the right sidebar in the admin panel of Sync > 'Import Google Calendar Events'.
    The API key starts with Alza then bunch of letters/numbers.
    Then the 'Google Calendar ID' that I use for my Resources is something like bunch of numbers/letters then @group.calendar.google.com

    Is that right?

      And yes, its correct about ID of your calendar "... numbers/letters then @group.calendar.google.com"

      2) If the previous will not work, so then please follow this instruction about how to start import of bookings via .ics feed: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/

      3) You can also read how to start export from Booking Calendar to the Google Calendar here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      Export. Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      • Could you try to do it for me? Like you make a test version on your own and do it on my server. Because I first tried my telling my client over screenshare what to do and followed every single steps. It wasn't working .Then I deleted everything and made a Google API Key/Credentials on my own and followed all the steps 1 by 1 and still no success. It gets stuck on a loading screen. I tried with old bookings, I tried with new bookings, I tried by using the shortcode that shows up in the 'New (Admin)' email. Still stuck on the loading screen. Thank you

    For example: 1 resource, or 3 resources?

    I now have a second holiday home which I would like to set up an identical second Booking Calendar, except perhaps for some different Rates, on the same website to manage booking for this Unit. How best would I go about doing this? I would obviously create a separate page for each Holiday Home, but I am just not sure on exactly how to create a unique Calendar for each Holiday Home. Your assistance would be most appreciated.

  10. is there anyway to configure the plugin to book only the first 24 hours of any resource, not allowing to book resources beyond that time?

    • Hello.
      Basically it’s means that you need to have as available only today and tommorow days in the calendar.

      You can define how many available days from Today date in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the availability section of Booking > Settings General page - “Limit available days from today”.

      But its still will be possible to book any time During today or tommorow day (it’s not the fixed 24 hours).
