  1. Hello.

    Is there a way that multiple people can book on a pending date, as it has not yet been approved. I have looked at the "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)" but that includes Pending and Allowed dates.

    Hoping you can assist me with this.

    • Hello.
      Yes, it's possible. You need to activate this option "Use pending days as available" at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.
      So in this case, system will show the pending days as available in calendars, until you do not approve some booking.

  2. Hi,
    We are having issues with booking imports on our website.
    Import lists are correct (displayed through [booking-manager-listing]), but the booking are not being displayed on the accommodation calendars anymore (they used to, and we haven't change a thing), which leads to double booking situation.

    Looking through the backoffice, I realised that most imported booking were in the trash/deleted, when they should actually still be active.
    In the Booking Calendar settings, we have checked the "Delete all news booking before new import" option because we want to be sure that any modified Booking on external platform applies to our import. But it seems like it may cause the dysfunction ? I precise that we only have one .ics source per accomodation (this .ics is coming from Booking.com).

    Is there any way to "reset" the import to make sure all imports are overriding and getting apply to the accommodations calendars again ?
    Can you please help me with this issue ?

    • Hello.
      It's seems that the new import was not done, after the bookings was moved to the trash.

      Please delete all bookings from the trash, by clicking on the "Empty Trash" button at the Actions toolbar at Booking Listing page,
      and then make new imports.

      You can do this manually or by opening the page with import shortcodes.

      You just need to make new import to import all your bookings.

  3. Hi, I have used the booking calendar for several years now on my website. Recently I noticed that the calendar itself does not display anymore. The only thing that still remains is the legend and the contact form. The actual calendar itself does not show anymore.
    Any help in trying to figure out this issue that just recently appeared would be appreciated.

      1) Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
      In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) After this please clear browser cache. And only after this please test your calendar.
      Please check more here https://clear-my-cache.com/en/windows.html

      3) Otherwise most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
      You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
      If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.

      • I am having the same issue. We've used this booking calendar plugin on our site for years. In the last couple of days we noticed the calendar is not displaying on our website but the legend and the contact form still remains. This is a major issue for us as our customers are not able to see calendar and book appointments. We are current with the latest update 8.8 but the issue remains and I have looked at the other suggestions from Support. We are struggling to stay in business given the current times we are in and with the booking calendar suddenly not working it could be the nail in the coffin. Please help!!!

          It's most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

          You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu.     • Managed to find the solution.
      It's a compatibility issue with WordPress 5.6
      Download plugin "WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version"
      Select version 5.5.3
      Then go to WordPress Admin dashboard - Updates and then "Update" to wordpress version 5.5.3
      Problem solved for the moment.

    Using business large and pleased.
    Have a customized booking form with only appropriate fields for my business situation.
    The guest booking receives an email with an url pointing to my edit page for the reservation. That page contains fields that are not applicable and confuses my guests.
    How can I configure the booking edit page to tailor it to my business context.

    • Hello.
      Probably you are having several custom booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Form page. And you need to use the custom booking form for booking editing, instead of using standard booking form.
      If yes, then replace this shortcode:
      [bookingedit]
      to this:
      [bookingedit form_type='my_custom_form']
      where my_custom_form it's name of your custom booking form (for rechecking the exact name of your custom booking form, you can check this
      "form_type" parameter in the page, where you are having the booking form shortcode with this parameter.

  5. Hi there, I've been asked by the Client to add Facebook Pixel to both the Payments page & Confirmation page. I cant see how I can add this to either, and can't find any documents. Do you have any instruction on how I can add this?

Tell me the algorithm of actions, if it is possible to do this, you need to display information about the booking in the modal window: date, name, mail, additional services, etc. But so that the modal window opens not by clicking on the selected date, but by clicking the checkout button after choosing a date or several days in the calendar?

  7. in the FAQ there is a description of how to make a modal window with a booking form open after clicking on the date. I didn't understand where exactly to look for the Fields page section, or it is open only in the extended version, if possible, send a video how to do it. And is the ability to set prices for apartments and additional services also included in the paid version of the plugin?

  8. I can't figure out how to create availabilities/time slots for my students to book. It would seem I know to create something for them to select and reserve.

    • Hello.
      The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
      In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

  9. Hi, just upgraded to Booking Calendar Business Large, to get access to the search function.

    We now have a problem that it will not find the current resources, instead it lists deleted resources that was present in the older version. I have reset the search cache, but the same results pops up, it even lists a booking form it finds on a page that was deleted long time ago?

    Is it possible to uninstall the whole thing and start from scratch?

      You need to remove the Booking Calendar shortcodes from the post or pages, where you have found such old booking resources. You can see the full list of such pages at the Booking > Settings > Search page, when you click on "Clear search cache button".

      • Yes, that's what I did, but in the cache it lists pages that don't exist any more.

        So I can't really delete something from a page that don't exist?

          Such pages exist. You just need to open such pages and recheck short codes there.

  10. Is there a listing of deleted pages in wordpress then? And how come these resources that the calendar list in the search cache does not show up in the search result?

    • Hello.
      When you click on the "Clear search results button" system search the PUBLISHED pages with [booking ...] shortcode, and only then list them at the Booking > Settings > Search page.
      And only after this you can see them in the search results at the front-end side.

      SO please recheck those pages.
      Otherwise please send screenshot of Booking > Settings > Search page and send links to those pages.
