Dear,
working with version 8.8 business large.
Would need to decode the form field of the booking table. As it is not really json, those functions will not be able to do the job.
As the plugin needs to decode this field to show in the admin pages - Booking Listing, there should be some code that does this.
Can you point me to the appropriate php function that I could leverage?
Many thanks
Luc
Hello.
You can check how is parsing of the bookings processing inside of this function: function wpbc_get_bookings_objects( $args ){
that is located inside of this file: ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/admin/wpbc-sql.php
Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because we have almost no free time.
Check more about, what support we are providing here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/
Thank you for understanding.
Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.
Why there is no option to see the full hours ( 8:00 - 24:00 ) and why is not working at all the payment for booking in mobile version ?
Is there a phone number to make it quicker?
Hello.
Please send screenshot of your booking form configuration from the Booking > Settings > Form page and configuration in text mode. Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Kind Regards.
It is still not working , as it is doing 2 things:
1.- After ask for the reservation, the calendar is not moving to the payment page
2.- It is moving down the full content of the web and it does not matter if we force via CSS or placing it in 2 columns.
Indeed is even possible that after payment the calendar is hiding himself the payment page
Hello.
It seems that issue is related to the not correct configuration of the booking form. It seems there is missing some closing elements. Please send configuration of the booking form from the Booking > Settings > Form page, I will recheck it then.
Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Hey,
We wonder if it's possible to add multiple reservations at once in the admin panel?
We want to set the capacity of resources for individual days because reservations can be made by phone, over our website, or booking.com. But adding all the reservations one by one would be a lot of work. It would be much easier to set the capacity of a resource on a daily basis.
We have the license for large businesses.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Sebastian
Hello.
You can add the booking with specific capacity at the Booking > Add booking page in the same way as at the front-end side. Just select the “parent booking resource” at the top toolbar.
Please check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
Kind Regards.
Hello, I didn't found how to post a new topic, so I try my question here:
On a the booking form, I don't see anymore the calendar to select dates.
In admin part, when I edit an existing reservation, or try to create a new one, I don't see the calendar neither.
I only see the text form for additional information.
WordPress version is 5.6,
bookingCalendar version is 9.Business.Large.SingleSite.8.4.3
php version is 7.3, mysql 5.6
The license is expired for a long time, but few monthes ago, everything was still ok and nothing modified in this plugin. Then, the booking part of the website has been disabled for a while, but now I want to reactivate it and discovered that no calendar is displayed anymore. A sample page for the booking is this one: https://www.la-grange-des-maths.fr/test/
Do you have any idea to resolve this please ?
Hello.
1) Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
3) Otherwise most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
Hello,
The icons in the backoffice are not displayed correctly (I have a type number E104, E074 ...). This is the case for all the icons on each tab. What can I do ?
Thanks for your help.
Hello.
Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Hi, I need to remove "Numbers of guests", but when I pull out the shortcode the search form is left churning and nothing more happens... do I also need to change something somewhere else?
Hello.
Number of Guests it's required field for the search form.
But you can hide such field.
Example:
<div style="display:none;">
<label>Guests:</label> [search_visitors]
</div>
Excellent! 🙂
We use the calendar for car rental business with multiple locations. Is it possible to arrange the recourses in locations?
Hello,
Im trying to set range times of 10 minutes, wich, so far, i have managed to set, with the formula:
([select rangetime "08:00 - 08:10" "08:10 - 08:20" "08:20 - 08:30" "08:30 - 08:40" "08:40 - 08:50" "08:50 - 09:00"])
I have to cover from 08:00 to 20:00, and I noticed the "grid" with selectable hours; is it possible to change it to a dropdown list so I can save space?
Thanks in advance!
Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page and deactivate this option “Time Picker for time slots” in the timeslots section.
Kind Regards.
Thanks for your answer, that solved it... but im still in some problems.
As we have so many time slots, the dropdown is giant.
Is there anyway to make a first time slot (for example morning, from 08am to 14pm) and a second (for evening, from 14 to 20) and have 10 min time slots wich depend from this first selection?
Thanks again!
Hello.
Unfortunately, no.
Sorry.
Hi again, im still trying to fin a workaround this, since is vital for our client.
In this case, I have 1 room, and created 2 resources around it: room 1 - morning, and room 2 - morning.
is there anyway to assign a different time slot to different resources?
We currently have the small bussines license, but upgrading is not a problem if this feature requires to.
You can upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your existing version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of the General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Sorry, I meant room 1 - morning and room 1 - evening.
Check my previous comment.
Kind Regards.
Hi!
Thanks for the answer; im looking at the upgrade section, from small to medium is 120$... with the aditional 89$ from the small license.
However a new license for medium is only 149$... is there anyway to adjust that?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hello.
Such costs issue, because of seasonal limited discount.
Please send your request to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com for more options.
Kind Regards.
Okay, so I have two issues. One: setting the automatic price on the booking form. Everything goes great. You sign up and pick a date and time and then the thank you message pops up. I have set the payment to appear on the screen after the booking is sent. It pops up perfectly with my message.....but the price listed is wrong and I cannot seem to change it on any page. I have miraculously got it down from 25 dollars to 12.50 with no idea how I did that.
I need it to sit at 10.
Also, the other option I wanted was to send a payment email WITH buttons. This does not seem to work. Any ideas?
Hello.
Please be sure that you have correctly configured the cost option at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. Probability you need to set the cost per 1 day. And then configure cost at the Booking > Resources page.
Otherwise send screenshots of your configurations. Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
In the emails possible to configure only payment link.
Kind Regards.
Advance calendar by 1 year instead of by 1 month?
Hi, I am using Booking Calendar for a very simple availability overview. I am displaying 12 months on a page. Instead of advancing the calendar month by month, which, for this layout is really confusing, I would like to advance it by 12 months. Is this possible somehow? Here is the shortcode I am using o display the calendar:
[bookingcalendar nummonths=12 startmonth='2021-01' options='{calendar months_num_in_row=4 width=100% cell_height=40px}']
Great plugin. I especially like using the child-css!
I have found a solution by displaying three consecutive years and some CSS magic so I can get by but this brings up the next question.
with this shortcode used:-
[bookingcalendar nummonths=36 startmonth='2021-01' options='{calendar months_num_in_row=4 width=100% cell_height=25px}']
is there a variable that I can use that will replace the hard 2021 with something like {current_year}? The way I have done t now makes this a manual operation. That's not ideal.
For those who are interested how I did the annual separation, maybe you can use this css snippet for your own calendars:
#calendar_booking1{
/*Start counting at y 2021*/
counter-reset: year 2021;
}
#calendar_booking1 > div > div:nth-child(12n+13){
/*push new year down*/
margin-bottom:100px;
/*Increase year by one*/
counter-increment: year 1;
}
#calendar_booking1 > div > div:last-child:before{
display:none;
}
Hello.
Unfortunately, there is no such variable or shortcode for "...replace the hard 2021 with something like {current_year}"
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say, when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
No worries. Thanks for letting me know so soon!
Ok, I just bought business medium to be able to show seasonal prices. I am getting really wound up by the lack of documentation now. I do not want to watch Youtube videos where objects on screen are circled with the mouse. I want a list of shortcodes. Don't get me wrong. Awesome plugin but your website sucks epically.
Hello.
1) For showing cost of booking in real time use this shortcode [cost_hint] at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
2) If you need to set the different costs per different seasons, then you can do this at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#rates
Kind Regards.
Sorry, it is not working. Can you please just tell me how to amend the shortcode to show the cost in the availability calendar?
I am using:
[bookingcalendar nummonths=36 startmonth='2021-01' show='cost' options='{calendar months_num_in_row=4 width=100% cell_height=40px}']
BTW I have set up the seasons, that worked. All I need now is to show the seasonal price in the table.
Thanks.
