Hello,
Is it possible to get 2 bookings on 1 timeslot?
Hello.
Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry. Please check my suggestion bellow.
A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted timeslots.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
B) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation). Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in Booking Calendar Business Large version for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.
are you going to comply and make an update for this on any recent version please.
Thanks
Hello.
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say, when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
Congratulations for this beautiful plugin.
I'm sorry but my booking calendar is displayed with the months and days in English. The rest is in French. The language of the site is French (in settings => general). I've searched a lot, but I don't see where the problem comes from to fix it...
Could you please help me?
Hello.
Please note, Booking Calendar is loading translation automatically, depending on your active locale.
If you want to have French language, please be sure that your active language was set to the French language and locale was set as fr_FR at the WordPress > Settings > General page.
Otherwise send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Kind Regards.
Thank you for your prompt response.
I have activated the French language in parameter setting before but but it doesn't solve the problem.
Here is the link to my page: https://www.arthisweb.com/agenda/
Thank you in advance.
Hello.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Kind Regards.
Ok I use fastest cache and wp-optimize plugins. I have excluded via fastest cache: https://www.arthisweb.com/agenda/
Unfortunately, I still have the problem. I'm really sorry...
Hello.
If you check source code of your page, you will see that it's still cache with "wpo-minify".
Kind Regards.
Help! I did everything I could as you suggested but the problem persists despite multiple attempts.
Apart from disabling the "wp-optimize" plugin, I can't solve the problem of displaying months and days in the right language. I'm not even sure it will work. I'm afraid I'll lose all my info from the plugin I've set up if I disable it. 🙁
Do you have an idea how to solve my problem?
Hello.
If it’s not the cache plugin, so then it’s can be issue of conflict with some other plugin, or because of your personal customization of calendar of Booking Calendar.
Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Kind Regards.
That's it! I confirm that there is a conflict with the "WP Optimize" plugin. When I disable this plugin, the translation of the calendar months and days is correct.
Is there a way to find a solution so that I can leave this plugin activated? You can imagine its usefulness.... :s
Hello.
Please check with support of that plugin how to add exception of caching to specific pages.
Kind Regards.
Okay. All right. I'll see what I can do on this side.
Thank you very much for your help and patience.
Yours sincerely.
Just for information, if it can help someone...
In order to debug the problem of displaying months and days in the right language of the "booking calendar" using the "WP Optimize" plugin:
Go to Wp-Optimize => Minify => Javascript => Exclude Javascript from processing => type in the field: booking/js*.
As far as I am concerned, everything is solved.
Thank you.
Hi
Is there a way to make a booking with two or three resourses in same booking?
Kind regards
I have a Google sync question. I have a paid personal version. I can sync my bookings with the google calendar when I'm doing it on laptop, but it's not working when I am trying it on mobile, or tablet. I logged in to the gmail account on all devices.
Any idea?

It works if I delete the google calendar app, because it opens in the safari. But the problem with this, that the app is not on the phone with this method..
Hello.
Please try to use import / export via ics feeds.
Booking Calendar plugin is supporting
- import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)
- and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.
In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.
Thank you for Booking Calendar. It's clear you put a lot of work into it.
My current question is about this scenario: If I suddenly get sick, I may need to block visitors from booking time slots today and the next two days. Is this possible?
I can't find any way to do this on my Bookings Listing page. So then I went to my bookingselect form at https://robinsmithcounseling.com/apointment/ but I can't make a multiple hour and a multiple day booking there.
Booking Calendar 8.8.1 Business Small
WordPress 5.6.2
Hello.
1) "...block visitors from booking time slots today and the next two days..."
You need to find this option "Unavailable days from today" at the Booking > Settings General page in Availability section and set there 3 days.
2) If you need to book the multiple days with specific time slot, so then it's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
You need to activate the multiple days selection mode, and activate this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots", at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section.
Hello
I have some pre-sales questions and did email these about 7 days ago and got no reply 🙁
1) Is there a way to remove / hide the payment aspects? I only want the appointment sections, not payment or currency etc...
2) Is there a way to include SMS messaging / TEXT Messaging re appointment reminder? I can't see anything about it so I assume there is not. Is there a plan to include this important feature?
3) To get version updates must we pay the same amount each year??
However, I apologise - I am still confused as the explanation given is quite confusing. I appreciate that English may not be your first language - I would suggest that you could improve the wording given here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-long-i-can-get-free-updates/
I simply want to keep on getting updates - forever - because I believe in supporting developer (and I want the software to be up-to-date).
So I understand the pricing is like this - is it correct?
* first year updates at 50% cost (because the first 6 months are included)
* second and subsequent years: 100% of purchase price ?? << is it correct - or is it 50% of purchase price forever with subscription?
Hello.
“... * second and subsequent years: 100% of purchase price ?? ...”
If you will count by years, then this is correct.
Kind Regards.
Hey there,
I'm currently setting up the free version of your plugin for my holiday home.
Everything works great so far, except for how dates are displayed in E-Mails.
I've set it up to use [dates] in multiple E-Mails and I've configured a custom (but valid) date format in General -> Booking (Admin) -> Date format: "D d.m.Y"
Thing is, it's using this date format but the translation doesn't work, so "D" is still in english, even tho WordPress is set to German (de_DE).
The plugin even displays the correct date format in the little sample box at General -> Booking (Admin) -> Date format.
Do you have any recommendations on what else I could check to fix this?
Hello.
You need to activate this option “ Use localized time format”, at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Admin panel section. This option useful only, if you have issue with translation of time format. If you activated this option, at some servers possible issue with "Daylight Saving Time" - booked times can be later on 1 hour.
Yeah, that worked!
I tried that option before and it did nothing - now it works as expected! Thank you very much! Cool plugin! 🙂
