  1. In addiotion to pont 1:
    1.Also when you change booking dates you do not see the new price in the booking. I have set that people get a mail of the change. In that mail and also in the new confirmation email that people get after payment, the total price of the booking is the same price as the downpaymentprice.

    In addiotion to point 2:
    I see now that the lightning bolt appears and dissapears. But a different color would be nice.

      Set as checked this option “ Update cost, after booking editing in admin panel” at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

  2. Hi guys,

    i tried to edit the mail template (the html one) to include the Logo in the header. I entered the path of the logo. The Logo is uploaded with a with of 600px. But somehow the logo wont show up in the mail sent. Do i have to enter a different code, or do i have to format
    in another way then "www.../wp-content/uploads/2021/03/...Logo.jpg" plus the alt text ?

    Would appreciate the help.

      It's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions activate this option "Auto approve bookings during import" at the Auto approval / cancellation section at the Booking > Settings General page.

  4. Thanks very much. I understand how it works now. You have to manually change the downpayment price. Only question remaining now is:
    In the confirmation mails I am using the shortcode [cost] for the price of the booking. In some mails - new (client) and edit - it shows the total booking price. And in some mails - payment request and accepted - it shows the downpayment price. Are there different shortcodes for these prices? I 've searched FAQ and support items, but can't find them.

      When I change the object (via chance object of via change booking) it keeps on showing the price of the originally booked object...

        1) [cost] shortcode relative to the cost of the booking that you have defined at the COST TEXT FIELD at the Booking Listing page.
        After initial creation of the booking this field contain total booking cost.

        2) Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and activate this option
        "Update cost, after booking editing in admin panel"

          1. Yes, when the booking changes you have to change the price. But is is very confusing that in the final confirmation you cannot see the total price but only the amount that people already paid. Especcialy when you edit the booking. Pea
          I book a boat for 2 days for 190,- and pay 47,50. Then I change it to 3 says and have to pay an additional 23,75. In the final confirmation (after I did the payment) it says the price is 23,75.

          2. I already dit this. And it works fine if I change from 2 to 3 days for example. I have to manually fill in the cost text field at the booking listing page. Then I can send another payment request. However when I change the object, the original price keeps showing. For example I book a boat for 100 dollar a day, total price is 300. Then I change it to a boat that is only 50 dollar a day, the price stays 300 dollar. I've tried via change object and change booking.

              1. I don't think you understand me. I will 'solve' it by changing the tag 'price' in 'paid'. And when people change the booking we will not send another payment request.

              I'll try to explain it again so maybe you will add a new shortcode for total cost sone day. When you book a boat you get a mail with [cost] = total cost of the booking. Then after you paid you get a confirmation mail that the booking is acceptecd with [cost] = the amount of the downpayment you made. It goes automatically, so then I can't change the price to the full price of the booking before the mail gets send.

              When you change the booking then you will also get a confirmation mail after payment of the remaining amount of the downpayment (that I entered manually), since the same mailtemplate (accepted) is being used. So people are going to call saing that they have paided more then what is said in the mail.

              2. Ok. So what you mean is that I have to look op the price of the other object and calulate total cost and put the price in the text field and in the note field. This is off course possible, but i find it strange that the price changes automatically when you change the number of days, but not when you change the object.

                Please note, in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can use these shortcodes:
                [cost_hint] - Full cost of the booking. [balance_hint] - Balance cost of the booking - difference between deposit and full cost. [deposit_hint] - The deposit cost of the booking.

                You need to use them in the both forms at the booking form and at the "Content of booking fields data" form at Booking > Settings > Form page. It's obligatory to use them in both forms.
                And after this you can use such shortcodes in the emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.

                But please note, such shortcodes making recalculation only, when you create new booking, or edit the booking.

                    I'm sorry, but when I put these shortcodes in the form (and it works, becuase you see the right prices while booking)
                    [cost_hint] - Full cost of the booking.
                    [balance_hint] - Balance cost of the booking - difference between deposit and full cost.
                    [deposit_hint] - The deposit cost of the booking.

                    What shortcodes do I use for the form?
                    because [cost] works, but [balance] en [deposit] do not work.

                    To come back to point 2: I've been trying booking en changing for hours and hours, but iI can't find any solution for this. When I change the object with the change object button people get a mail with the wrong price. When I change the object with the change booking form and choose a different form from another object, the object does not get changed. This looks like a bug to me.

                    I cannot delete the booking and book a different boat, because we would have to pay the downpayment back en let the costumer do a new downpayment. Otherwise accounting is not correct.

                    I can deactivate the booking is changed mail, but then people will not now the new price of the booking.

                    • sorry, never mind. I will go for deleting the booking and make a new one.

  5. Hello, we created two forms with no calendar, just as an informative note (inside a multiselection choice).
    One of them is showing correctly, but the second one shows the calendar, and they are both identical.
    what could be the issue?

    2. I want prices should reflect based on selection number of adult and number of child in booking form,

  7. I want to upgrade from Business Small to Business Medium so I can use the seasonal options. But I can't because the Upgrade button takes me to a blank page. I'm starting at my WP dashboard and I find the button in the Booking Calendar info box. IE-11, Chrome-89.0, Firefox-87.0 all produce the same results. Is there another upgrade route?

  8. Hi,

    I have purchased "Business Medium Single Site" plugin and I have a question.

    If one my user cancels a booking, is there a way he gets Auto Refunded? I do not see the option anywhere. If Yes, can you please let me know hw to do that.

      Unfortunately it’s does not possible to make auto refund from the Booking Calendar. You need to make refund manually from the specific payment system.
