Hello, very nice plugin 🙂
Is possible to exclude one or more configured advanced cost from [cost_hint]?
In alternative is possible to SUM two or more [advanced cost_hint]?
Regards
Andrea
You can show cost hints separately for the each items, that have additional cost at Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. For example, if you have configured additional cost for my_tax option at Advanced cost page, then in booking form you can use this shortcode [my_tax_hint] to show additional cost of this specific option. Add "_hint" term to name of shortcode for creation hint shortcode.
Yes I've read it, but my question is different.
I need to show a SUM of [original_cost_hint] plus some of extra cost. Not all.
I can reach my goal or with a SUM of extra cost [..._hint] or excluding some extra cost from the [cost_hint]
There is a way to obtain it?
I'm able to modify code if necessary
Regards
Andrea
Hello.
Unfortunately, its does not possible to make arithmetic operations with [cost_hint] or [original_cost_hint]
its possible to make such operations only with the options from the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/expresions-in-advanced-costs/
And I do not sure that its will be possible to make some simple customization for this.
If you want to try to make your customization, so you can do this in this function: function advanced_cost_apply( $summ , $form , $bktype , $days_array , $is_get_description = false ){
in this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/_bm/biz_m.php
Kind Regards.
Good morning
I am setting up a website using an WordPress Linux hosting in Italy
I want to use the website to manage bookings of apartments for tourists
The hosting service has advise to use your plug-in
I believe that the right version for me is Booking Calendar Business Large version
I want to use Stripe for the payments of the bookings.
Stripe told me that I can use additional methods of collection (besides Visa and Mastercard) using Stripe.. in particular Sofort, Alipay, WeChatPay..
Does Booking Calendar integration with Stripe allow the use of these alternative method of payment?
Thanks
Giulio
Hello.
Currently Booking Calendar does not support integration of additional methods of collection (besides Visa and Mastercard) in Stripe.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
Thank you for your response
I've looked at these links before
But when I choose 8 days instead of 7, it doesn't work anymore.

but my concern is my booking method is not working when other user booked through the website.
Hello.

Hi. Just want to inquire. I am looking for a booking plugin that will be integrated to WP. I have a client who is a lawyer, and he wants his site to have a booking that accepts online payment. And after every appointment is finished, an invoice will be sent to the client and the client will pay the invoice thru their site using the booking plugin. And not only that, the plugin must also have the ability to be able to cater a pre-paid appointment by video conference payable directly from the website. Do you think this booking plugin can handle all these? thanks!
Hello.
1) The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet.

2) If you need to provide something like invoice to to visitors who making the booking, so you can try to configure the “Payment request email” at the Booking > Settings > Emails page in A way like invoice. In Booking Calendar there are no special invoices for the bookings.
3) relative this “... be able to cater a pre-paid appointment by video conference payable directly from the website...”
Unfortunately Booking Calendar does not support this feature.
Kind Regards.
Hello, I have now purchased another 2 large business site calendars.
One is for booking rooms,
I have selected partially booked times for booking the rooms.
With one of the rooms I would like to create options, at form level, to book all day or whole weekend at a fixed price.
How can I go about this? thank you
Hello.
You need to create new custom booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page, that will NOT contain any times fields.
And then insert shortcode for this booking form and your specific booking resource (room) at the page, so at this page, you will be able to make full day booking.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/custom-booking-forms-video-overview/
Kind Regards.
Thank you ,
For this resource I have one form taking booking times.
In a new post I have made another booking form for that resource to take whole day booking prices.
In the resource I am setting Valuation days
For 1 day 132 £per1day AnyDays
Together 2 days 260 £ for all days! Weekend
Both are ticked on the left hand side
Neither valuation show this result in the [cost_hint]
I am getting 24 hrs price at the hourly rate
Thank you for your support,
Hello.
1) You need to set “cost per 1 day” at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. And activate option “Time impact to costs”. Save changes. Test it.
2) For booking resources, where you have costs per hours you need to set cost per days like this. If you have cost per hour as 10 usd so then it’s mean that cost per day is 10*24=240
Hi sorry I still am not sure what to do.
I have two forms for one resource. Each form on their own page.
One form allows partial booking times. at £22 per hour
2nd form for booking whole day. is showing £528 per day. I need to only charge £132 per whole day
1) Stops my partial booking times
2) I don't know where I am putting that so cannot test it with 1) ,
but I would like to set a fixed price for whole day because 24 hours at hourly cost is too high.
Thank you again.
Hello.
at the second form, where you need to set cost per full day, please be sure that you have removed any time-slots.
Then add one hidden checked by default checkbox to the booking form: <div style="display:none;">[checkbox fullday default:on ""]</div>
and configure at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page additiona cost as -396
Its means 132-528 = - 396
Thank you again, this has helped me a great deal, stay safe
I use the standard config and am trying to get time slots working. Its WP 5.4 and your newest version. Everything seems fine till Im adding the first booking. Then the calendar dissappears and throws the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined

Hello.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Otherwise Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Thanks for your reply.
Plugins didnt help. Its our theme that causes the problem: https://de.wordpress.org/themes/vast/
Do you know a workaround? because changing our whole page is no alternative right now.
Thank you!!
Hello.
Please recheck the header.php file from your actual theme. This file must to have this code:
<?php wp_head(); ?>
before this:
</head>
Its standard rule for the themes.
That code allow to load the JS and CSS files for the plugins.
For example you can activate the “default WordPress theme” to test how its working.
Sorry, that didnt work as well. I had to switch to another plugin.
Nevertheless, thank you very much for the quick answers!
Hi there,
We have been using Booking Calendar for a few years now from Version 9.Personal.SingleSite.5.4.4 and have been too afraid to upgrade as we have many apartments in there and the old couple that manage it are used to that style. We have been using the plugin fine for all this time until yesterday, when trying to add a booking it came up with the inability to go more than a month ahead in the booking section. Here is a link to what our booking form looks like with a red circle over where the option to go to the next month is no longer there: image
Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks,
Les
Hello.
You need to open the Booking > Settings General page and in Calendar section for the option "Number of months to scroll" set value "2 years" instead of "1 month".
Kind Regards.
Thank you very much!
Very appreciated for your quick reply.

Hello,
I think I found a bug. When creating season filters, in "date filters", you can use shift+click to select several days in a given month. This works, except when you start at first day of month.

The colored triangle graphic does not work
It is missing every day after the first or only the last one.
With 7 days it works
