Hi,
I really like the plug-in. It is a great addition to my website.
I have the paid version (small-business) and I have a question.
I have two different calenders, and I would like to have different dates/timeslots presented as 'unavailable'. However, I can't seem to figure out how to changes this for both calanders seperately.
e.g. I would like to have one weekeind unavailable on calender A, but still available on calender B.
Hello,
Version: Small Business.
I have set date format "l j.n.Y". The localized format is displayed correctly in the administration.
Example: Pondělí 18.5.2020 (czech language)
1) I am sending an email to the customer with shortcode [dates]. Here the format is always in English.
Example: Monday 18.5.2020
Can I also put a localized date format in an email?
2) I have a recurring time range enabled and possibility to choose more days.
In the e-mail notification, the data is displayed and the time ranges are displayed incorrectly.
Example: Thursday 21.5.2020 16:00, Thursday 21.5.2020 19:00, Thursday 28.5.2020 16:00, Thursday 28.5.2020 19:00
Should be: Thursday 21.5.2020 16:00 - Thursday 21.5.2020 19:00, Thursday 28.5.2020 16:00 - Thursday 28.5.2020 19:00
It's right in the administration. Only in the wrong email.
Thanks for your time and great plugin.
Hello.
1) You need to be sure that during approving or canceling the booking from the admin panel, your booking admin panel was set to the specific Language, if you are using some translation plugin (like WPML), and only after this click on approve or send button to send email in specific language.
If you just switching langue in WordPress > Settings General page, so then at the booking Listing page you need to click on "globe" icon to switch language and then approve or decline some booking.
2) What shortcode do you use for these ?
I have just retested similar configuration, by using [dates] shortcode in the emails, and in the emails about the new bookings, I have these: Tuesday 16.6.2020 8:30 AM - Tuesday 16.6.2020 9:00 AM, Thursday 18.6.2020 8:30 AM - Thursday 18.6.2020 9:00 AM
P.S. Please be sure to use latest update 8.7.6 of Booking Calendar.
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Kind Regards.
I do not use any translation plugin or language switching.
Now I find out when I enable in stettings booking calendar function "Use localized time format" so the names of the days in the email are translated. But the short code [dates] has + 1h.
edit: I have version 8.7.6.
Sorry, I didn't reply to a previous post. Delete it. Thanks
Hello.
Yes, this is is issue inside of the WP dates function, because o "Daylight saving time". Its exist at some servers at with specific time-zones.
That's why we was adding this option to the plugin.
Unfortunately, its means that you need to use the dates in different format, like 2020/05/19
Kind Regards.
Hello.
Please note, currently communications or support possible only in English language.

2) You can define only specific weekdays as available at the Booking > Settings General page in Availability section. You can define Sunday as unavailable day.
In case if you want to have the Sunday as available but do not allow to start or end booking at this day, so the its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions to define at what day possible to start selection and how many days possible to select (so you can exclude sunday in this case). Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#advanced-days-selection
3) System count days, as how many days was selected (clicked) in calendar. But costs can be based on the hours. you can activate this option "time impact to the cost" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

Good morning and thanks for the quick and complete reply. I tried automatic cancellation by entering the site through incognito browsing making reservations without paying. The first three bookings were automatically canceled, others remained as unconfirmed bookings. With day not available for other reservations.
Hello.
Please recheck that those bookings was set as pending (not approved) in the booking admin panel, also they do not have successfully paid status in the booking Listing page.
Also please recheck that you have visit your website (for test cancellation), after time period that you defined for the auto cancellation (may be time for auto cancellation is not reached, yet).
YES THESE RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED AND MUCH TIME MORE THAN 15 MINS HAS PASSED AS SET.
INSTEAD ON THE SITE THESE DAYS ARE NOT SIGNALED BY THE DIFFERENT COLOR AND THEY SEEM AVAILABLE. INSTEAD IF I TRY TO BOOK A MESSAGE COMES THAT ARE ALREADY BOOKED.
Hello.
Please send screenshot of that booking (from the Booking Listing page),
and send screenshot of Booking > Settings General page (full page).
also send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Thank you.
1.- ok it seems that it is not a problem because while on my side my reservation is still (pending), on the customer side it is available for the same hours. And if I make a new reservation at the same time and day, the old one disappears.
3.- it is solved, thanks for advice.
2.- and 4.- is resolved by switching to the Medium Business version, right?
I only have to pay the difference once. or is this an annual cost?
Hello.
Yes, correct. Check note in my previous comment.
The cost of upgrade from lower to higher version of Booking Calendar is little higher than difference in cost between 2 versions. ~ Please read more about costs of upgrades from lower to higher version of Booking Calendar here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/upgrade-to-higher-version/
You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Okay, I paid for the update and downloaded the file. Can you give me a link on how to install Medio Business version? Thanks
After installing a update of Booking Calendar plugin I am receiving a critical wordpress error on my site. If I deactivate booking calendar plugin the site works again.
Could you please assist me as to what the problem could be with the update?

ciao, posso creare più calendare di prenotazione, ma con fasce di orari diversi?
ad esempio, 1 con fascia oraria da 30 minuti e un'altra pagina separata con fascia da 45 minuti?
Hello.
1) Please note, currently communications or support possible only in English language.
2) In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions you can use start time and duration of time fields (for selection of start time and duration of time, like 30 minutes or 45 minutes).
But I recommend to check the Booking Calendar Business Small version, as well.
The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
Kind Regards.
I am using this plugin (medium business) for booking days at a camp. There are 30 places available each day, but I can't see how to set this up - please could you advise?
Time slots aren't suitable as it is an all day booking, and I need to restrict the numbers.
Hello.
If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
Kind Regards.
Good day,
I just updated from free to personal and I am trying to have two different calendars show on my client's website. One is a booking for an apartment, one for nature walks. I accept that they can't be in the same calendar.
The overview led me to believe it's possible to set up two calendars with two forms, though. I can't figure out how. They both load the default calendar with the default form (https://elsamatthijssen.nl/reserveren/).
You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
Hi, I am configuring this great looking plugin, however the email component will not accept my email address (....@bigpond.com) due to not having the same server name as my website domain. I do not have an email linked to the domain name (e.g. admin@my.server.com), the email I have been trying to add as admin for the plugin is also the contact email for my domain. Got a solution for this? as I'd really like to use this plug-in, I would upgrade also, but not if I cant use my ....@bigpond.com email.
Hello.
Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.
The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
Kind Regards.
Hello!
I have the Business Large version. I want to use the option "Unavailable time before / after booking" for my full day booking, to have one day of buffer before and after the booked date.
- I set the option to day(s) and set the before and after to 1 day(s).
- I put code rangetime on the form hidden, like this: Time slot: [select rangetime default:"Full day@@00:01 - 23:59"]
- I don't put the time range to the email template.
This works, but I don't want the customer to see the start and end times.
- Before using rangetime [dates] code used to display only the date, for example 21.05.2020, this is what I want.
- After using rangetime [dates] code displays 21.05.2020 00:01 - 21.05.2020 23:59 on the emails, I don't want this.
Is there any way to do this so that I only get the date in emails, not with the start and end times?
My code for the hidden timeslot on the form didn't show correctly in the post.
On the form I put the "Time slot: [select rangetime default:"Full day@@00:01 - 23:59"]" in a div, with style = display:none.
Hello.
Use these shortcodes in the emails:
[check_in_only_date] - [check_out_only_date] -
Inserting check-in/out date (only date without time)
Kind Regards.
Those shortcodes didn't work for me, they returned empty. I have version 8.7, are those features of a newer version?
[check_in_date] shows the date only once, which is what I want, but still shows the start time, 00:01.
I'm out of update time. You apparently added the shortcode [check_in_only_date] in 8.7.2.
Can you tell me which shortcodes enable the "Unavailable time before / after booking" option? Is [rangetime] the only one?
Hello.
1) Please contact support about the update support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
2) You can activate this feature in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the Booking > Settings General page in Availability section.

Hello.
Try to update to version 8.7.6
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Kind Regards.
Kind Regards.
