Hello.
The common mistake here, its does not inserting into the content of the post or page, the booking form shortcodes for SINGLE or PARENT booking resource.
You need to open the Booking > Settings > Search page and after clicking on Clear search cache button to see the found pages with booking forms. Otherwise its will not work.
So do you see found pages with booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Search page, after clicking on clear search cache button.
Kind Regards.
My site's booking plugin no longer works. I don't want to update to get new features, I want the site to continue functioning. https://stenlandsdal.dk/?page_id=592
The problem is:
When I click on a certain date the plugin malfunctions and doens't select said date. The product is simply not working. It worked when I set it up originally. However, after 6-8 months the site is disfunctional. Why is this???
Hello.
It’s seems that at the Booking > Settings General page in availability section you have set days as not available.
Please recheck those settings.
Kind Regards.
Hello
How to configure the reservation system for a restaurant open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday and for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday?
(This means that the evening time slots must not be active on Tuesday evening).
I have not found if the free version of wpbookingcalendar allows it.
Thank you for your reply.
Best regards
Pascal
2) Also in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to use the different custom forms for having different timeslots for the different calendars - booking resources.
3) But please note !!
Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry. Please check my suggestion bellow.
A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted timeslots.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
B) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation). Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in Booking Calendar Business Large version for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.
Thank you very much for the precise answer
Best regards

Dear,
love your plugin!
I want to default the [country] shortcode at runtime, using the country of the user using the website.
Is this possible from within javascript?
Do you have an example of the code?
Thanks in advance
Kind regards
Luc
Hello.
It's only possible to define the default country in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page, by using the shortcode like this:
[country "US"] - "United States" is selected by default.
Kind Regards.
Dear,
is it possible to leave the country empty? In my form I use [country] without country value default, but is shows United Kingdom as default. So there is some logic to populate this.
If I cannot set it at runtime, I do want to leave it empty. Is that possible?
Thanks
kind regards
Luc

Hi, I love your booking calendar plugin.
I think my WordPress had an auto update and now the calendar does not appear when I click on Booking/Add Booking in the dashboard. So I am unable to select specific dates because there is no calendar. How do I make the calendar reappear in the Add Booking section? Here is a screenshot... https://postimg.cc/v12bHx4r
Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

Hi,
I would like to include a SMS notification once the user books an appointment and also send a reminder SMS notification to the user 1 hour before his appointment. Is there any plugin that supports this?
Kindly help.
Hello.
Booking Calendar does not support such notifications. Sorry.
Booking Calendar is sending emails for the specific actions (like after new booking, approve of booking or decline, modifications of the booking or sending payment requests), other type of email "reminders does not support, yet. Emails is sending only after some actions.
The Booking Calendar do not have the SMS notifications functionality in the core of the plugin.
But you can check this plugin "Booking Calendar - Clockwork SMS" : http://wordpress.org/plugins/booking-sms/
which is work together with Booking Calendar and declare that have this functionality. It's third party plugin which is not supporting by us.
Kind Regards.
hi there,
I purchased the plugin version: Business Small Developer 8.7.7 and installed in on our dev site
Then I bought a higher version for the upgrade and got a code How do I upgrade the existing plugin with it?
Hi there
There's a bug with the calendar we use here: https://bit.ly/3271C0U. We have a weekday condition for the start date. Within a month I can combine multiple days with different conditions without problems. But when adding dates from a different month, the start time selector disappears. How can we fix that?
Another problem is, that e. g. the thursday can only be booked past 5pm. But when I select monday and tuesday, it allows me to select 8am. How can I set the special days to overrule the "normal" days?
Thanks for your help!
Hello.
Please note, all such conditions can depend only from the check - in day (earliest selected day in calendar).
Hi
I'm not sure if I'm on the right track here. We don't have seasons - the rules apply to the whole year. But we have a season filter that blocks two days entirely.
This is the code that is used for this calendar: https://bit.ly/3271C0U
Is that right or wrong?
And is the issue, that the start-time hint disappears when selecting multiple days accross different months, related to this or something else?
Thanks for your help!
Hello.
1) Yes, it's correct if you are having also the end time or duration of time fields in your booking form.
Example:
[condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="1,3,0"]
Start time: [select starttime "08:00" "09:00" "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00""16:00" "17:00" "18:00"]
End time: [select endtime "09:00" "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00""16:00" "17:00" "18:00" "19:00"]
[/condition]
[condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="2,4"]
Start time: [select starttime "17:00" "18:00"]
End time: [select endtime "18:00" "19:00"]
[/condition]
2) Because you are using the conditional for the weekdays, so in case if you select several days, system will show or hide times, ONLY based on first selected date - check in day. It's will do not care about other selected days. So in your case, it's better to use "single day selection mode" for correct bookings.
Also for the multiple days selection mode (if you still want to use it), probably you need to activate the "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" option at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.
we have a problem with the plugin, in responsive phone mode all courses show "booked", otherwise it will be shown correctly with the booking button.
this problem ist on https://dein-yoga.ch
do you have any ideas???
Hello!
I use the plugin and love it! However, when clicking on add reservation the hunter is no longer showing up. What happened?
Hello.
Sorry , can you explain more detail, what exactly is not showing ?
Thank you.

Hello.
Please note, all such conditions can depend only from the check - in day (earliest selected day in calendar).
Also instead of using contains for the week days you need to use conditions for seasons. And such seasons must not intersect with each other.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/different-time-slots-selections-for-different-days/
[condition name="season-times" type="season" value="*"] Default: [select rangetime "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00"] [/condition] [condition name="season-times" type="season" value="High_season"] High season: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00"] [/condition] [condition name="season-times" type="season" value="Low_season"] Low season: [select rangetime "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00"] [/condition]

1) Yes, it's correct if you are having also the end time or duration of time fields in your booking form.
Example:
[condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="1,3,0"] Start time: [select starttime "08:00" "09:00" "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00""16:00" "17:00" "18:00"] End time: [select endtime "09:00" "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00""16:00" "17:00" "18:00" "19:00"] [/condition] [condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="2,4"] Start time: [select starttime "17:00" "18:00"] End time: [select endtime "18:00" "19:00"] [/condition]
2) Because you are using the conditional for the weekdays, so in case if you select several days, system will show or hide times, ONLY based on first selected date - check in day. Hello.
At your page here https://dein-yoga.ch/ is showing some calendar (that is part of the Avada theme), it's not the original Booking Calendar plugin.
You can test how is looking like the original Booking Calendar plugin here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/
or download the Booking Calendar Free version https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/
So please contact support of your Avada theme about that issue.
Kind Regards.
