  1. HI. I have installed Booking Calendar 8.7.6 and all is working well. We have lots of different resources, with a minimum stay of 2 nights. Is it possible to set only 1 of the resources to a 1 night minimum stay, without effecting the others?

    Thank you.

  2. I am running online training courses, which I have created as different products via WooCommerce. Each course can accommodate up to 20 candidates. I want to be able to list these products in a calendar view, which would allow customers to be able to view, book and pay to secure their place on the various courses. Is this possible with this plugin, and if so, how can this be done?

  6. Hello I have installed the booking calendar plugin on my website, but I notice a small bug.

My website offers AJAX menu switching, so for example running music won't stop, if it loads from footer. So here is the bug, first time when I open the shortcode page for the calendar it's OK, when I go back home and then reclick back to the booking page, it gives an error that it cannot load resources of the calendar few times on the same page.

If I disable AJAX loading and leave it as normal, it doesn't have a problem, but this way the running music player will stop every time the page is loaded. So my point of this is, can we make it compatible with the AJAX menu switching?

    • Hello.
It's most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      Kind Regards.

    • Hello.
Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

Most probably you need to check point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.

  8. Hey guys! I am using Divi theme and simply using their code template for adding shortcodes. It usually works just fine.

WordPress is fully updated, so is Divi theme so should not be an issue.

However, when using your shortcode, the booking form can not be clicked. You can see it here: https://jamesallenstewart.com/bookings/

    I am using this shortcode: [booking type=1 nummonths=2 form_type='standard']

    • Hello.
It’s seems like some css and JavaScript files was not loaded.

Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
      Kind Regards.

      • Hi there. At the risk of sounding difficult, I am not interested in this plugin if it does not work with the Divi theme. I have already eliminated all plugins that I do not need so this would not be the plugin for me I'm afraid.

  10. Hello, is it possible to add every event added to a calendar to the reservations and viceversa? Thanks.

    • Hello.
Sorry, I do not sure that clearly understood your question.
Can you explain more detail, what exactly do you mean by that ?
Do you asking if it's possible to import/export bookings from other sources (like booking.com), into the Booking Calendar plugin ?
      Kind Regards.

      • Import and export resources automatically everytime a booking is added to Google Calendar, and viceversa.

        • Hello.
          Booking Calendar plugin is supporting
          - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)
          - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which are possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

          Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcode to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.

In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

          Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.

          Kind Regards.

          • Hello WP Booking Calendar team,

I have a question about syncing my Google calendars with WP Booking Calendar.

I have separate Google Calendars for 1) my online business and 2) my offline business & personal events. Offline & personal meetings are entered manually. For my online business, clients book through WP Booking Calendar.

Is it possible to *import* events from my offline & personal Google calendar into WP Booking Calendar *without* making them public?

What I want to achieve is that WP Booking Calendar automatically "updates" with my offline & personal events. In other words, WP Booking Calendar does not allow clients to book dates or times unless they are also free in my offline & personal calendar. And, information from my offline & personal calendar is *not* shared with or visible to my online clients.

Is it possible to do this?

            Regards,
            Tonia

            • Hello.
Usually at the front - end side of your website in the usual inline month view calendar is showing only available or booked dates without any other booking details. So it’s does not possible to check who made these bookings.

              Relative Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
