Hello,
how can I pause bookings until a specific date.
So we don't want any bookings available until 20th of November but after that we it should be possible again to book the dates.
For example if a person wants to book an appointment today, they can only book the dates after the 20th of November
Where can I change this?
How can I show different tariff periods in my yearly timeline? Do I need a different version of the Plugin ( I use the personal version) and what does this cost?
Hi, i want to use costs per hour but with a minimum of 4 hours for all bookings. Is it possible to set this?
Also is it possible to show additional costs (when booking conferenceroom, separate costs for use of beamer, cans of coffee/tea etc?
I'm using Business Small SingleSite 8.7.10
Hello.
1) You can define the cost per 1 hour at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
Also at the booking form at Booking > Settings > Form page you can use start time and duration of time fields for selection of times. Your duration time, can start from 4 hours, so minimum booking time can be 4 hours.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to configure additional costs for selected options in the select boxes or check boxes (such options can be hidden and checked by default). Its useful in case, if you need to add the tax cost or cleaning fee or any other additional cost for the booking. You can configure it at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/
You can upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your existing version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of the General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Hi... this may be a silly support question, but my client just threw me a curve ball at the very last minute and i'm having trouble wrapping my head around how to set this up. Just thinking out loud here but i need all the help i can get.
Booking goes like this:
Open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
$20 per person
Half hour time slots from 3PM to 7PM Friday and Saturday
Half hour time slots from 12PM to 4PM Sunday
Each half hour time slot has room for 20 people.
In essence this is a tour for 20 people every half an hour for 20 bucks each. I understand it's in Resources and Resources count... just can wrap my head around it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
I have Business Large Single Site BTW
Hello.
Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, its does NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry. Please check my suggestion bellow.
A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted timeslots.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
B) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation). Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in Booking Calendar Business Large version for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.
Thanks for your quick response... Reading your response, just to clarify this is not possible with Business Large Single Site:
1. Customer selects available Date (from calendar)
2. Customer then selects available time range (half hour slots)
3. Customer selects number of visitors (only 20 visitors max per time range)
Then books this visit
Again this is a tour for 20 visitors every 30 minutes.
Seems like this should be possible with your system. I just want to make sure.
Your suggestion above would be difficult, as the customer would need to select a day before selecting a time. It may work that way, but i think that would be really confusing to the user.
Hello.
If customer follow this scenario:
—-
1. Customer selects available Date (from calendar)
2. Customer then selects available time range (half hour slots)
3. Customer selects number of visitors (only 20 visitors max per time range)
Then books this visit
——
And for example select 7 visitors in the selectbox. So after this booking that timeslot will become unavailable for other visitors (even if customer select only 7 and not the 20 visitor).
Is it ok ?
That’s what I was trying to explain in my previous email.
Kind Regards.
Yeah, that is what i thought you were getting at. I just wanted to make sure.
Guess that is why i couldn't figure out how to do it 🙂
Any other solution you can come up with where the customer would select the date first?
Hello.
It’s possible to use time slots, but in this case timeslot will become unavailable after the first booking. Or try to configure, my first suggestion.
Kind Regards.

I have the small business version but I want all resources to share the same calendar, please.
Is there a way to disable multiple calendars?
Hello.
In case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources) if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resources), so then it’s possible to configure it with “aggregate” parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar).
Please check more about " aggregate " parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
This parameter make the dates in calendar unavailable if these dates was booked in some other booking resources.
I will explain it in example of booking rooms:
So your configuration can look like this:
Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
- Room #1 ( ID = 3 )
- Room #2 ( ID = 4 )
- Room #3 ( ID = 5 )
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes like this
If some Room will be booked for a specific date(s), this date will be unavailable in other rooms, as well.
Such functionality available in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I just want to send an email to selected people who booked with me. How do I do that?
Hello.
System can send email about the booking confirmation to the emails that was filled in the booking form in the email field.
That email you can resend (forward) to other users, if you need.
But it’s does not possible to send it from the plugin.
Kind Regards.
Hi, our client wants to rent out an apartment for a full weekorweekends. Not on single days.
Is there a way to configure the booking calendar so users can select either monday-sunday or friday-sunday?
I coulldn't find the right anwer in the FAQ.
The booking calendar does not show up on mobile devices and actually today it wasn't visible when using my Chrome Browser (I was able to see it on Safari). WHY? How can I get the calendar to work on mobile devices and ALL browsers?
Hello.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Otherwise Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

[booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]
- Room #2 ( ID = 4 )
[booking type=4 aggregate='3;5' ]
- Room #3 ( ID = 5 )
[booking type=5 aggregate='4;5' ]
....
If some Room will be booked for a specific date(s), this date will be unavailable in other rooms, as well.
Such functionality available in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
