  1. Dear Support,

    I would like to include a jQuery Function that triggers when the form is submited.
    I tried a bunch of stuff like
    jQuery('form.booking_form').submit(function(e){
    // console.log that doesnt shoot
    });

    But it doesnt pull the trigger.
    Can i hack into the Ajax somewhere?

    Thank you very much and best regards,
    Sören

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, there is no trigger to hook the booking form submissions.
      You can add your own code inside of this function :
      function form_submit_send( bk_type, formdata, captcha_chalange, user_captcha ,wpdev_active_locale){ ...
      in this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/js/client.js
      to trigger such actions.
      Kind Regards.

  2. Hi,
    I purchased a Business Medium account, but didn't get a confirmation email. I already contacted the support twice via the wpbookingcalendar.com page, but without success. Can you please get back to me so we can clear this problem? I'm still on the "free" version and this is getting problematic.
    thanks,
    tim

  3. Hi, I purchased personnal edition and I would like to know if it is possible to automatically approve a new reservation created via the admin menu ?

    Thank You in advance,

    • Hello.
      It’s possible only in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. You can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page.
      Test it in this live demo https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

  4. Hallo! I checked the FAQ but could not find a solution for my question. We have the Small Business Version.

    We have a house that we want to migrate to the WP Booking Calendar plugin. Until now they used Excel to make a table. Something like this: https://nfhb.ch/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2021/06/Reservationsplan-2021-3.pdf

    Until now they could color the days with spezific information. For example when theiir bar was open the day was marked green or when they used to house for themselve it was blue. Is it possible to do something like that in BookingCalendar? I imagine adding other variants than booked and so on.

    Thank you in advance!

    • Hello.

      Booking Calendar have only fixed specific types of dates in calendar: - available, pending, booked (approved). Such dates can have the different colors.
      You can select the different calendar skins at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section, to have the different colors.
      In case, if you want to customize own colors, then check here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/change-skin-and-colors/

      Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because we have almost no free time.
      Check more about, what support we are providing here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/
      Thank you for understanding.
      Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.

  5. Hello,
    I would like to ask, whether it is possible to achive different day settings per calendar. Example:
    https://www.vinarstvipodhradem.cz/rezervace/
    I need first 2 calendar to from Tu+Fri for 3 day, 3. calendar whole week (Sa-Fri) only.
    Is that possible using shortode settings?

    • Hello.
      If you need to set the different cost depend from the different selected time duration (in selectbox), then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      If you need to set some additional cost for the booking, depending from selected options in the select-boxes or checkboxes in your booking form, so then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost

      Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/
      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

      • Thank you, that's very clear.

        However, when I try to upgrade from Small to Medium it tells me that the cost is $120, when the price difference between the 2 is $60?

        Thanks,
        Rob

  6. I need to export the bookings to Excel so that we can set up automated workflow integrations.

    Is there a manual way to do this?

    Can it be automated as they arrive?

    • Hello.

      You can export exist bookings to the CSV file in any paid versions of Booking Calendar. You need to open the Booking Listing page, then at Actions toolbar click on “Export” button.
      After this you will be able to open CSV file with bookings in MS Excel or some other applications.
      It’s possible to make such export only manually.

  8. Hey there,

    i have some trouble with the additional costs.
    Is it possible to set additional costs outside of the overall cost.

    For example:

    I have a visitor select:
    [select visitors class:visitors "1" "2" "3" "4" "5" "6" "7"]

    which have the standard configuration of
    1 = 100% of overall costs
    2 = 200%
    3 = 300%
    etc

    and another select box where you can select another package:
    [select surfers class:surfersvisitors "0" "1" "2" "3" "4" "5" "6" "7"]
    where i have the following:
    1 = 275
    2 = 550
    etc

    The problem is that the surfervisitors will be multiplied by the overall visitors.
    So that if I select 2 visitors and 1 surfervisitor the 275 will be multiplied by 2 too.
    Is it possible to set this as additional, that it will be added AFTER the visitor multiply?

    Thanks in avdvance,
    Sören

    I try to setup the following:

    • Hello.
      Please be sure that this option “ Advanced Cost” was UNCHECKED at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. If you do not want that specific additional cost, which configured as percentage for some option, apply to other additional fixed costs and not only to original booking cost.

    • You Can ignore that.
      I just figured it out myself.

      Thank you anyway for your great support all the time

    • Hello.

      If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the “Advanced section”, please be sure that you have not activated this option: “Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):”. This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.

      Also this option “Use pending days as available” must be unchecked, as well. It’s located at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      • On laptop it's working perfectly but from mobile it's not taking booking showing '0 error'.

        • Hello.

          Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

          Otherwise Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
          Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
          If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
          We just need to find the reason of this issue.
