  1. Hey I'm using Business Medium Developer 9.1.1 on wordpress 6.2.2

I'm looking to open specific dates for a closed calendar. We do allow reservation but we are on holiday most of the next two month except 4 specific dates that doesn't follow.

  2. Hi support,
your plugin seems very powerful and I got confused and lost among the various help links unfortunately. I am just trying to understand if I can:

    - have a single resource (an office for rent, with slots every 2hours, with a buffer of 1hour between each slot)
    - create a full page calendar (weekly view) where every visitor can see available slots in a day and click a slot he wants to book. The slot is predefined 2hours. The user then write name, surname, email and phone number and then request a book (no paying needed). Then in admin panel I confirm or deny the booking.

    • Hello.
      1) Please note, the ability to view and select date and then time slots possible only in the online month view calendar. It’s does not possible to show the week view calendar, where you can select the date. Sorry.

      2) The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
Please watch more in this video: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-timeslots/
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one "timerange" (timeslots) with specific duration or "start time" selections and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      • Thank you for fast reply. It's ok to have month view in order to select date & time.

Another thing I am considering is:
        1) is it possible to make the user select a time span he wants to? Of course limited for a day only and minimum 1 hour. Like for example, a visitor sees the calendar, select a day, then chooses a time range (9am - 1pm). Then he write his details and create a booking request.
        2) I do not understand if buffer-time is present in your plugin, that is, after each booking, the next one is allowed only half-an-hour later the ending of the last one. In the example above, another visitor could book for the same day but only starting from 1.30pm onwards.

        • Hello.
          1) Yes it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.

          Kind Regards.

          • ok great. so the medium version is what I need.

Does buying the medium version include a one-time setup help? I mean if you can guide me step by step to create what I describe once I buy the medium version.

              • Even though your plugin seems poweful, it is absolutely not user friendly, the UX and UI of back end and the UX UI of your documentation/help/faq/videos.
I can't use more time studying a plugin for a quite simple task with respect to the time needed to develop an entire website

                • Hello.
Currently you need to check settings and costs and availability configuration at the Booking > Settings pages and in Booking > Resources pages.
With the next new update of plugin, Booking Calendar will have completely new configuration step by step wizard,
which will provide easy step by step configuration procedure and real time updating view of what you have changed.
Hope it's will come ASAP, and help to configure without stress.
                  Kind Regards.

  3. Hi support,
Is it possible to insert booking form on the right side of calendar rather than below it?

    • Hello.
Yes, it’s possible. Please open the Booking > Settings > Form page then Select “calendar next to booking form” form template and click on reset button. Save changes. Test it.
      Kind Regards.

  4. Hi Support, I'm stuck.. I want to be able to take bookings with 30 minute time slots on a single day only.
Then in the future when another shoot day is available change the calendar to take bookings for that day only.

Is this something Booking Calendar can do? I paid for the Business Medium version.

    • Hello.
      1) You can configure the time slots selection like this, at the Booking > Settings > Form page:
      Times: [select starttime "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30" "21:00"] <br>
      2) Then you need to activate the "Single day" selection mode, at the Booking > Settings General page in "Calendar" section.
      3) If you need to have as available (select-able) only today date in calendar, then you can set for the option "Limit available days from today: " as 1 day", at the Booking > Settings General page in "Availability" section.
      Kind Regards.

  5. Hi, how can I implement price per person e.g. 1pax per day R1090, 2pax per day R1150 and so on

  6. Hi,

Before buying the small business package I would like to know if we can use it for a bike tour guide company with 5 different tours daily repeated over the week, and limited seats? Or if I need a different package?

Can we set the limit for each tour? i.e 10 seats per slot

Will it be possible to have "limited seats" in organge when bookings reaches 6 out of 10 seats for a specific time/date slot?

We have 5 different tours every week

It will be a simpler version of what this company is doing https://www.fattiretours.com/paris/tours/versailles-bike-tour/

We will only have 1 type of ticket: adults

    • Hello.
Unfortunately, if you need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same time slot at same date in SAME CALENDAR, it is NOT possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry. Please check my suggestion below.

      A) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific time slot, this time slot becomes unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in the current specific calendar.

In lower versions of Booking Calendar possible to make bookings only for restricted time slots.

You can configure the time slots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

You can use one "timerange" (time slots) or "start time" and "end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: http://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      B) If you need to make a specific number of bookings per day, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where it is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/apacity

At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation). Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/

We highly recommend to check this article about different configuration of capacity and availability http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/

      ___________________________

Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity in the Booking Calendar Business Large version for each of your times and then have an independent own calendar for each of your time slots for the reservation. It means that your visitors firstly need to select the times in the select box, where you will list all your options.

And only after that select the date and fill the booking form. Its can be look like this: http://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource-2/

  7. Hi, I am looking to show the free version calendar only on a website I'm building. I've removed all the fields from the form, but the email field can't be removed, so shows below the form with the "request booking" button. The client doesn't want people to book via the calendar, only display the slots available on any given day.

Is thera a way to hide the code for the email and submit fields in CSS? This is where I've got to:
    https://www.ttht.co.uk/garden-calendar-test/

I know the plugin is a bit of overkill for what's needed, but the display works really well, and I've used it on other sites so know the interface well. The client will manually add booked sessions on the system to keep the calendar updated.

    many thanks

    • Hello.
If you need to show only availability calendar at the front-end side without the booking form, then you need to remove the actual shortcode of booking form from you page and insert the shortcode for only availability calendar without the booking form. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-availability-calendar/
Please note, in this calendar you will not be able to select the dates, because there is no booking form there.

Read more about the main features and small description about how to configure them here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also check useful info at the FAQ here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/

      Kind regards.

      • Thanks for the quick reply, I would need to have clickable dates, as there are 3 sessions per day, so I'm trying to show which sessions are available on a chosen day. So the booking calendar would work well, if I could just hide the "email" and "request booking" button.

        • Hello.
          1) In the booking form the email fields is required field. You can not use the booking form without the email field.
          2) Please note, you can add new bookings in admin panel at the Booking > Add booking page.
And at the front-end side to have only availability calendar without the booking form. So in this case, you as administrator can control what dates are available and what are unavailable.
Also you can set some dates as unavailable at the Booking > Availability page.

          3) In case if you need that your website visitors also submit the bookings for the specific dates, then you need to use the booking form at the front-end side. And i the booking form the email field is required field.

          Kind Regards.

  8. Hello,

I bought a paid package and after installation we lost all the registrations that had been created until then.
Is there any way to get the registrations back?

    Thank you
    Best regards
    Martin

    • Hello.
Please note, for ability to save all bookings data, you need to make the update relative to this instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/update-older-to-newer-paid-version/
      1) Firstly please recheck that you have removed all bookings, and do not hide some of them. Please open the Booking Listing page and click on "Reset" button at top right side in toolbar. It's will show all available bookings in your system.
      2) If you do not see your old bookings, then only the way to restore your previous bookings, it's to restore your Database backup, if you have it. Please check with support of your hosting about database backups and restore the database backup version, when you was having all your bookings.
      Kind Regards.

  9. Web developer here - I installed the latest updated version 9.7.1 a couple weeks ago for my client, and everything updated as expected and she continued using her site and booking system as before (to the best of my knowledge, I never heard otherwise). Just heard from her today, and she says the prices are no longer showing, and I just noticed that the front end shows shortcodes rather than the output as it did before. Could this be a problem with the plugin update (and maybe the client/owner just didn't realize it, since her venue was already booked most of the month)? Should I try re-installing the same plugin that was just recently updated?

  10. Good morning,
I have a problem with my calendar, I want you to be able to book from 00.01-01.00. Which version do I need to buy? Is this the only configuration or do I need to do something else?
    Thank you
