Hi,
I installed the plugin a couple of days ago and recently my website is not accessible any more. When I disable the plugin my site works again. This is the recent version and my WP is up-to-date, so I don't see what the issue can be (is also the payed version).
Any advice is welcome.

Hello.
Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.
Otherwise probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Thank you.
Regarding the deposits and balance payment, is there anything automated yet to send out a Payment Request email for the balance at a specified time before the booking date?
Hello.
Currently it's still manual process from the booking admin panel.
Yes it's item in the TODO list.
But before that we have 2 major updates relative to capacity (huje update) and (configuration wizard) in our list.
Kind Regards.
Hello. It's rare, but sometimes we get a "double booking." I think it is because two people are making a booking for the same resource at around the same time.
Is there any change that might make one of these booking "error out" and not go through?
Thanks
Hello.
It’s possible when 2 bookings was created at the same time.
You can activate this option “
Checking to prevent double booking, during submitting booking
” at the Booking > Settings General page in “Advanced” section.
In next major update we will improve this functionality to not have such issues in general.
Kind Regards.
Hi There,
I dont seem to be getting emails anymore. I use gmail.com for my email. Website is islandtenttrailers.ca and in the settings it says "Emal different from website DNS, its can be a reason of not delivery emails. Please use the email withing the same domain as your website" this had worked fine before but do i now need to not use gmail and now use an email within my domain. ( I dont have one as i have only sued gmail)
Gerry
Firstly you need to check that you have activated and configured the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page:
- option "Enable / Disable" at the specific email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page, must be checked
- also "From" field at the specific email template must to have the same website DNS as your website.
But in most situations you will need to install and configure some SMTP plugin.
SMTP plugins have to fix your email deliverability by reconfiguring WordPress to use a proper SMTP provider when sending emails.
This is a problem for a lot of WordPress sites because by default, WordPress uses the PHP mail function to send emails generated by WordPress.
The issue is that most WordPress hosting companies don’t have their servers properly configured for sending PHP emails.
The combination of two causes your WordPress emails to not get delivered.
It also can be a reason why your emails are marked as spam.
Hello, I got a problem with the Paypal payment (I only use this one):
Whenever in the calendar I clic on "Book now" and even before clicking on the following Paypal-button the system confirms the booking to the client.
I configured the Paypal account as you described also the IPN functions and tried to figure out where to change the settings for payment confirmations but didn't find where to do so.
Is it possible that this behavior came on with the last update?
Hello.
DO you have issue with approving of the booking and changing status of payment for the booking, after response from the PayPal IPN ?
If yes, then please check these points:
1) Please be sure that you have configured [bookingedit] shortcode correctly. Its required for correct integration of PayPal IPN.
Please check this FAQ instruction how to configure it: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/
2) Please be sure that you have activated and configured the IPN at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page in IPN section:
Follow these instructions to set up your listener at your PayPal account:
1. Click Profile on the My Account tab.
2. Click Instant Payment Notification Preferences in the Selling Preferences column.
3. Click Choose IPN Settings to specify your listeners URL and activate the listener.
4. Specify the URL for your listener in the Notification URL field as: http://server.com/wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/gateways/paypal/ipn.php
5. Click Receive IPN messages (Enabled) to enable your listener.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Back to Profile Summary to return to the Profile after activating your listener.
Please be sure that your website does not block to your IPN url (you do not gave 500 or not found error, when open the URL similar to this: http://server.com/wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/gateways/paypal/ipn.php ).
Kind Regards.
Hi and thanks for your reply!
but the problem is not related to IPN or Paypal; before even a guest clics on the paypal button to pay his stay he gets already a confirmation of his booking and the payment.
He should get this only after having done his payment, no?
Concerning IPN I checked and rechecked all of the configurations, but if I trie to open the new testpage I get a 405 error, which might be normal as the payment has not be done and so Paypal didn't send a message yet.
Kind regards
Oh sorry, I activated the mail "Nouveau client" which means reply to new booking from client. and therein I myself confirmed the payment.
Should have only activated "approved" withe teh same content I think....
Sorry sorry, have a nice weekend
Hello.
The “New (visitor)” email is sending before visitor make the payment in any case. This email is sending at the moment, when the booking was created. So yes, you can deactivate this email template and activate only Approved email template. So visitor will receive emails when the bookings will be approved.
Kind Regards.
Hi there,
just found your plugin. Im trying to configure it but i always get a message that the CAPTCHA requires the GD library activated in your PHP configuration, althought I don't want to have CAPTCHA in the form.
How can i deactivate this permantely?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
João
Hello.
You can deactivate the captcha at the Booking > Settings General page in “Form” section.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I did with no sucess. It is still showing me the CAPTCHA error in the calendar page. It says "Error! CAPTCHA requires the GD library activated in your PHP configuration. Please check more here.".

Hello.
Also try to remove the [captcha] shortcode from the Booking > Settings > Form page.
Otherwise please send screenshots from the Booking > Settings General page and Booking > Settings > Form page and Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Thank you.
Hello!
I hope you can help me. I have the following problem: when I import an event from the google calendar, it is taking me one day later as the departure date. For example: if in my google calendar I put an event on Monday, September 4 from 7 am to Monday, September 4 at 8 am, in the booking calendar plugin it registers the event from Monday, September 4 from 7 am until Tuesday September 5 at 8 am.
How can i solve this problem? Thanks for the help
Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings > Sync > “General” page and feature this option “Append check out date” during import.
Kind Regards.
Is it possible to have "check in" "check out" boxes - similar to Air B&B?
Hello.
Curently Booking Calendar support only online month view calendar for selection of the dates.
Kind Regards.

Hello.
Not receiving emails, can depend on the different items. Please check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/
Shot summary.
We can recommend to install and configure this WP Mail plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
but you can search and install any other SMTP plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/smtp/
Why do you need to have an SMTP plugin?
SMTP plugins have to fix your email deliverability by reconfiguring WordPress to use a proper SMTP provider when sending emails.
This is a problem for a lot of WordPress sites because by default, WordPress uses the PHP mail function to send emails generated by WordPress.
The issue is that most WordPress hosting companies don’t have their servers properly configured for sending PHP emails.
