    • Hello.
I can see the captcha at your website, but by some reason, it is not updated during each time the page is reloading.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with a booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Otherwise Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.

      Kind Regards.

  1. Hello,

I would like to create a form that allows customers to offer a stay. The objective is that the purchaser of the stay can then offer it to someone (friends, family). I'll be able to create custom fields to provide the necessary information (buyer's contact details, contact details of the future user of the holiday).

However, as this reservation is a gift, the date cannot be chosen by the buyer, but will be chosen after the reservation by the person who will use the gift.

Is there any way of doing this, bearing in mind that I have to choose dates for the booking? I could put fictitious dates on a dedicated and non-visible resource, but this must be automatic at the time of reservation...

    Thanks for your help.

    • Hello.

“… gift, the date cannot be chosen by the buyer, but will be chosen after the reservation by the person who will use the gift.…”

Unfortunately it’s does not possible in actual versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry.

      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you for your reply.

That's what I thought, but I'd like to find a workaround.

The process that will be put in place for this "gift" stay is not automated and the dates will not be chosen by the recipient of the caedeau on the website. I would be responsible for setting the dates. Let me explain:

When the holiday buyer books a holiday as a gift, and enters the details of the recipient, I'll personally send the recipient a postcard and some goodies in a letter :

Here are the steps as they will be described on my website:

        STEP 1
First you'll receive a confirmation e-mail, then by post the gift card including an original Belle Ile Camper Vans postcard with a note and a Belle Ile Camper Vans key ring: all in a beautiful envelope (special offer for the 10th anniversary of Belle Ile Camper Vans).

        STEP 2
The lucky ones will then contact me (by phone) to book their stay.

I'll check with them directly to see which dates they'd like to book, depending on availability. It won't be the person receiving the gift who chooses the dates on the website.

So I want to find a way to automatically select a fictitious date to validate the form (the calendar will be present but hidden, as it's compulsory). It doesn't matter if the same date is used each time for the reservation. The aim is just to be able to confirm a sale so that my gift-stay booking process works.

        • Hello.
          I understanding this.
The fact that currently there is no such functionality in the actual versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry.
          Kind Regards.

  2. Sorry, i didn't wanted my link take all the text. Bad translation for "recipient" i wanted to say receiver.

    • Hello.
Booking Calendar imports only  events that  exist in the .ics feed  and that was not imported before into the Booking Calendar plugin.

      1) Firstly  please recheck  that  your .ics feed contains events for specific dates.

You can  check  it at  the "oPlugins panel" menu page in the "Upload .ics file and show events" section  by  clicking on "Show Events (.ics)" button.

      2) Then recheck this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

        • Hello.
          1) Please open the oPlugins Panel > Settings > Listing Template page
and then configure the Listing Template like this:
          <div class="wpbm-event"> <div style="width:35%;float:left;margin-right:5%;font-weight:600;font-size:1.5em;">[DATES]</div> <div style="width:60%;float:left;"> <h2>[SUMMARY]</h2> <span style="display:none;">[UID]</span> <p class="desciption">[DESCRIPTION]</p> </div> <div style="clear:both;"></div> </div> <p style="display:block;text-align:right;">UID: [UID] ( Booking ID: <a href="[BOOKING_LINK]" target="_blank"><strong>[BOOKING_ID]</strong></a> )</span> <hr />
Then repeat the step #1 again. You will see if this booking was already imported or not. If the booking was already imported, then you will see the ID of this booking in the Booking Calendar plugin.
          Kind Regards.

            • Hello.

              2) Also what shortcode do you use to start import?

  4. Hi

    so i have two questions:

    1) is it possible to ask the customer to upload one or more pictures in the form and save it?
It can be gooole drive or also in the WP library.

    2) a payment instruction is only send if i do not integrate it directly correct?
option a) is to integrate an payment url in the approved email?

    Thank you.

    • Hello.
      1) Unfortunately Booking Calendar does not support upload files and conditional fields functionality. Sorry.

If you need that visitor upload some file during the booking process, then please configure in the email template (that sending to the visitor, after the visitor made the booking) some link to the secret page, where there will exist some form for uploading files.

For uploading files, please use some other plugin, then just insert into that "secret" page some form for the ability to upload files by your visitor.

      2) Payment request link can be exist in any email templates from the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
      Kind Regards.

  5. Hello,
    a question:
When upgrade from personal to business small, do i delete or just deativate plugin ?
In your video help you deactivate but don't delete it (see video 0.50).
But in text you say: 4) Click on "Delete" link of Booking calendar and wait until the plugin is deleted.
    Thank you for your help

  6. I have the booking calendar plugin Business Medium
and the payment is through POS or bizum, the problem is that regardless of whether the client pays or not, they receive a notification of a reservation made, how can they ensure that they only receive an email if they have paid for the reservation?
And on the other hand, that reservation that has not been paid remains blocked even though I have set the 15 minute option.

    Thank you

    • Hello.
You can deactivate the “New (visitor)” email at the Booking > Settings > Emails page and leave as enabled only “Approved” email template.

Booking is created before payment process in any case. You need to activate the auto “approve / cancel bookings” option at the Booking > Settings > Payment page in Stripe or PayPal section.

Please note, if you are using the PayPal standard integration and your visitors is made the payment for the booking, but do not click on the "return link" on PayPal site to your site, so Booking Calendar does not know that the payment is successful, and this booking will not have successfully paid status.
Stripe has to auto redirect to booking page automatically.

So sometimes it's possible that the successfully paid bookings will not have this status.

Ideally (for PayPal) you will need to activate and correctly configure the PayPal IPN system, at the Booking > Settings > Payment page and in the PayPal account. So in this case the PayPal has to send the messages directly to your booking system.

      • Hello.

What you tell us is done, I don't know if the problem is that we use the Redsys payment gateway, not PayPal or Stripe.

And on the other hand, what does not happen is that after 15 minutes the reservation is canceled after not being paid. How do we solve it?

        Thank you

        • Hello.
Redsys is not exist in actual versions of Booking Calendar. Probably you or your web-developer was made custom integration for this payment system.
          Please note.
Disclaimer. If you was modify the source code of the Booking Calendar or make your own customization, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it. Check more about, what support we are providing here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/
          Thank you for understanding.

SO you need to contact person who made integration of this payment system for you, and recheck that he was done correct integration of Updating payment status, after redirection from Redsys.

Once again, original Booking Calendar does not support Redsys payment system, yet.

          Kind Regards.

  7. I have the booking calendar plugin Business Medium
and we have one of the rooms that has bunk beds, so in the same room there are 8 beds that can be reserved individually.

What would be the way to do it?

    Greetings

    • Hello.
It’s possible to make such a configuration with aggregate parameter.
      Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/

I will explain it in an example of booking separate rooms and the entire house.

Please note, all such separate properties will have separate booking forms with calendars at the front-end side of your website.
It means that you can book an entire house, or specific room in a separate booking form.

So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resource), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources.
Please check more about "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/

      Example of configuration:

Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:

      - House ( ID = 3 )
      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )

And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this

      - House
      [booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]

      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
      [booking type=4 aggregate='3' ]

      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
      [booking type=5 aggregate='3' ]
      ....

If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.
And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.

      • Hello.

        Our problem is the opposite.

We have a room that will be called an 8-bed shared room.

This room has 8 beds, and we want each bed to be sold individually.

That is to say, I am going tomorrow with my partner and we reserve 2 beds in that room, so we want 2 beds in that room to be blocked, and then you can go later and you go with 3 more friends and reserve 4 beds, with which you I would let those 4 beds be reserved because only 2 were occupied, and we would all sleep together in that room.

In summary the operation of a youth hostel.

        Thank you

        • Hello.
I understand that. And previos description explain how to make bookings for such situation when you have 8 separate calendars for each of your beds and one calendar for your room.

But in case if you just need to have one calendar for your room with specific capacity (capacity=8) then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version.

If you need to make a specific number of bookings per day, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where it is possible to make several reservations per specific full date(s) or times during selected date(s). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity

You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/

In this version it is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource.

Check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/

          Kind Regards.

  8. Hello,
I'm using the Business Large version for its search functionality for a B&B.
I want to add a "children" selection in the search form, similar to the default visitors/guests, where the price preview is also updated according to the children resource, and the children value is passed to the next stage in the booking form.

Is it possible to do that or is that kind of functionality only limited to the default [search_visitors]?

    Thank you.
