We have recently updated to Version 10.Business.Large.SingleSite.9.9 and the backend is really really slow. When I do a Query Monitor, it shows all slow queries coming from this plugin.
Everything else is up to date and we did not have this issue until updating. I sent in a request for this before but have not heard back. checking again to see if others have reported this issue. Please advise.

The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL Buckaroo and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

I have installed the plugin for my client and the booking works fine. There is just one problem: no email is sent after accepting a booking. The initial email when making a reservation is sent, but when we accept the booking, no additional email is being sent. The option for this email is activated in the 'settings' area.
Firstly you need to check that you have activated and configured the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page:
- option "Enable / Disable" at the specific email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page, must be checked
- also "From" field at the specific email template must to have the same website DNS as your website.
Why do you need to have an SMTP plugin?
SMTP plugins have to fix your email deliverability by reconfiguring WordPress to use a proper SMTP provider when sending emails.
This is a problem for a lot of WordPress sites because by default, WordPress uses the PHP mail function to send emails generated by WordPress.
The issue is that most WordPress hosting companies don’t have their servers properly configured for sending PHP emails.
The combination of two causes your WordPress emails to not get delivered.
E-mails are being sent, just not the email when a bookings is confirmed. Clients receive a reservation-confirmation and when I send out a paymentrequest manually, that email is sent too.
It is just the email when a booking is confirmed, that is not sent.

Please be sure that you have enabled this email template at the Booking > Settings > Emails page. Also at the Booking Listing page, when you approve the bookings, please be sure that the option "Send emails" was enabled at the top right side (under toolbar).

For example, we have one reservation that was made for the 16th to the 23rd, and it broke into two separate reservations. One for 16th-18th and the other for 21st-23rd? Please help! This is a better representation of the broken booking. When we query for check out today, you can see that the reservation comes up but it is clearly reserved until the 23rd.

Ok as you can see from last screenshot the booking was from 16 to 23 but split in different booking resources.
For not having such split into the different booking resources, you need to enable that option at the Booking > Settings General page in Capacity section.

It may help to explain that we are a dog boarding facility. We have 65 cages available at any given time and people can book up to 2 resources (cages) and our reservations are based on capacity. Will that setting enabled cause any issue using that booking by capacity? We have not had this issue before. thanks

If user select 2 or more dates and you will have the available spots in these dates but in the different child booking resources then system prevent of such booking.
Booking will be possible only if all dates available in specific child booking resource.

We did not have this set up before and did not have the issue of it checking out of the resource. It was date dependent. That must have changed. Is there no way to query check-in and check-out based on date and not resource? We need it to be able to book based on resources available because they change day to day. But we also need to see who is coming and going based on the date, not on the resource. Hope that makes sense.

Resources on this situation exist only if you have limited number of spaces. So child booking resources count its number of slots per dates that available.
If you do not care about availability and want to receive unlimited number of bookings you can enable it at the Booking > Settings General page in capacity section. In this case you can have only one booking resource with capacity = 1 , but all dates always will be available does not depend from number of bookings.
Otherwise you need to use capacity and child/parent concept.
You can have ability to save booking for multiple dates into one available child booking resource, or Otherwise (you can deactivate option at Capacity section) and split a booking among different child booking resources for different dates.
Such functionality was early as well. We was not created something new here. Last updated just improve functionality and remove some issues that was existing early.

I have a question. How can I modify the availability for a specific time slot on only one date? For example, I have three available time slots (9 am - 10 am, 10 am - 11 am, and 11 am - 12 pm), but I need to block the 11 am - 12 pm slot without changing the availability for future dates.

You will be need to make a blank booking for this time slot at specific date to decrease the availability there.
You can make a blank booking at Booking > Add booking page in admin panel.

I have problem to assign different forms to different items. I create a new form and I assigned it to item but it is not visible on our page. It is always STANDARD form.
What is strange is that in summary I see the correct fields of the form but those that are not visible on the page are blank.

I'm running 10.Business.Medium.SingleSite.9.8.14 on my customers website. The confirmation details to the customer are correct but events in calendar-view is showing on the wrong date with time: 00:00 not the correct time. How to fix? 🙂

Some parts of our website was reliant on the server time and had this line in functions.php:
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Oslo');
When removing this the Booking Calendar worked. So we updated all parts of our website to use WordPress date and timestamp and now everything is working fine.

Shot summary.

We may have had that setting disabled because we have a specific number of resources and based off of capacity

Can you click on the dates in that booking to show all the dates separated by comma and check the dates and booking resources.
Or you can activate the showing dates in “wide format” at the Booking > Settings General page in “Booking Admin Panel” section.
