Hi, I would like to put the booking form inside a button that creates a pop-up. However, everytime I try to click on it it says: "Warning! Booking calendar for this booking resource are already at the page, please check more about this issue at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-the-booking-calendar-widget-not-show-on-page/".
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks.
Hello.
1) Just be sure that you did not inserted the Booking Calendar shortcode into some other place at the same page or was not added the widget to the page.
2) Otherwise check about any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with a booking form for do not cache this page(s).
3) Also it can be because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it does still not work. Basically what I do is create a pop-up template and just put code [booking resource_id=1] into the elementor short code widget. The on the page, I insert a button and with dynamic tag choose the pop-up template. Then I get the error message.
Maybe this method is not right? Is there another way perhaps?
Thanks!
Hello.
Probably the best way to add the HTML tag in the elementor and then configure the popup relative to the FAQ instruction.
Otherwise you will booking need to switch to the WordPress editor, then switch to the code view, and then configure that popup dialog.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I'm trying to sync the booking calendar with an Outlook calander, however it's not syncing. I have to import the calander every time I want it to update.
It's also not sending emails to both the admin email and the customer email when a booking is made. How do I fix this?
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when a visitor opens your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcodes to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.
Firstly you need to check that you have activated and configured the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page:
- option "Enable / Disable" at the specific email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page, must be checked
- also "From" field at the specific email template must to have the same website DNS as your website.
Why do you need to have an SMTP plugin?
SMTP plugins have to fix your email deliverability by reconfiguring WordPress to use a proper SMTP provider when sending emails.
This is a problem for a lot of WordPress sites because by default, WordPress uses the PHP mail function to send emails generated by WordPress.
The issue is that most WordPress hosting companies don’t have their servers properly configured for sending PHP emails.
The combination of two causes your WordPress emails to not get delivered.
Hi, how can I structure the fields of the booking form so that there are 2 columns? So e.g. that "First Name" and "Last Name" are next to each other. The calender should be on the top.
Thanks.
Hello.
Please open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page ,
in the toolbar select "2 columns" form template. Click on reset button.
Save changes. Test it.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
I am sorry but I was unable to find this. Maybe it is a pro feature? I am using the free version
Hello.
Yes, it's available in all paid versions of Booking Calendar.
You can test live demos https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure of functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
Hello.
1) Please be sure that you are using the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.
2) Be sure that it is latest update 9.9
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Hi,
want to show booking id and two fields called pick up and drop off in the booking admin panel, instead of booking id, and name, but the text is cut short, can this be fixed?
Hello.
You can use [booking_id] shortcode
at the “Content of booking fields data” form at WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
And in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can use the dates hints shortcodes to show the check in/out dates. Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields. You need to use these shortcodes in the booking form and then you can use them in the “Content of booking fields data” form, as well.
Kind Regards.
Hello and thanks for your help.
I am sorry but I do not understand what I made wrong...
In calendar view mode settings, i can choose max 2 months even though there's options for 3 months or a year, but they can't be selected, is this possible to edit?
Hello.
Can you send screenshot of the issue ?
Thank you.
Yes, just can't figure out how to attach an image here?
Hello.
Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Same here, default view shows 3 months, or a year, but they can not be selected
Hello.
At this settings page defined how many months possible to scroll. By clicking on next buttons at header of month.
I do not sure that clearly understand your initial question. That’s why I was asked about screenshot, of what exactly you want to change.
If you want to show several visible months in calendar, then you can define it in the Booking Calendar shortcode parameter, while you insert it into the page.
Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
Hi, I wanted to be able to view more than 2 months at the same time on the admin view page, so I could just use a slider on the bottom to go back and forth, like in an excell sheet
Hello.
2 Months possible to show in Calendar Overview only if you have selected 2 or more booking resources in toolbar. Or select to show all booking resources.
I. This case system show 60 days (2 months).
Yes, but on the settings page for "Calendar view" (admin panel) it's possible to select either
Day
Month
2 months
3 months
Year
But then I'm unable to select the last two, why is that?
Hello.
Because instead of “all booking resources “ at the option bellow at that settings page you need to select one specific default booking resource. Then such options will be available.
Kind Regards.
Hi, I ordered an updated version of the plugin last week, but I haven't received it?
Hello.
Just resent to your email again: info @ yellowwebmonkey.com
Hello.
I wonder, is it possible to get payments into SEB Bank, which is Lithuanian bank? What about swedbank, mastercard?
I appreciate your answer.
Hello.
Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support such direct payments. Sorry.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL Buckaroo and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, you will be able to check how integrated payment systems exist in the plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.
Hello,
I found out that using two check boxes in the booking form are not working correct.
If I add two check boxes and make them as ‘require to proceed the booking form’, it is still possible to proceed the booking form while checking only one checkbox..
How is it really possible to make two check boxes as 'require to proceed' the booking form?
Thank you for you’re reply.
Hello.
You need to use the 2 separate shortcodes for these checkboxes:
Hello.
1) Such shortcodes available in the paid versins of Booking Calendar at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
2) In case, if you are using the Booking Calendar Free version, then add 2 separate fields at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page . Do not use one field with several options.
Kind Regards.
Using free version, tried to add 2 separte fields. But if I check the 'required box'for both fields, the booking form on the website can proceed with 1 check box. Not working correct. Possible to solve this issue with free version?
Hello.
I have just retested it once again, and it has to work as it have to.
Please be sure that the names of your 2 check-boxes was different in the booking form.
Try to delete your check-boxes from exist booking form at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
Then add a new checkbox #1
and after this add another checkbox #2
Save changes and test it.
Otherwise send screenshot from your configuration at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page and Please send the exact link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Thank you.
Hi,
Solved it due to you're last comment. Thank you very much.
