  1. Hello,

    I have some Airbnb bookings which are not imported in Booking Calendar. I try with checking force import checkbox but it also doesn't work....

      Import.
      Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Export.

      Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      • Yes I checked here but I don't see where the problem come from. I deleted all Airbnb bookings and I reloaded the page with all my shortcodes and there are 50 Airbnb bookings imported again but around 5 are missing so I don't understand why...

            • In fact these bookings are not existing in the Airbnb ics of my client... I'm asking her screenshot of these bookings on Airbnb and if they exist on Airbnb the problem come from the creation of Airbnb ics so I have to ask them why they are missing.

  2. For some time I have been having a problem with how the booking Calendar is displayed on some devices only, in that each calendar cell is displayed with vivid geometric shapes with half the cell black and the rest being the colour representing the status. I can supply a screen shot if required as the effect is very difficult to explain.

    As a rule of thumb this happens mostly on small screen devices such as phones, and less on pc desktops, although this is not always the case, in fact I have heard of two ipad users who have had different results.

    I did suspect this may be due to the split day bookings feature although I don't have the feature turned on.

    Any advice would be appreciated, Thank you.

      1) Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
      2) Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason for this issue.

      3) Otherwise send screenshot and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

      After updating to the latest version, I'm experiencing some issues with the booking form and automatic email.
      In the booking form and e-mail there are strange characters such as =20, =C3, =AF. Also, links are displayed as plain text.

      I use wp 6.1 in combination with divi and Business Small SingleSite 9.1.1.

      What solution do you have for my problem?

  3. Hello,
    Is there a way to cut off bookings at a certain time each day? The calendar shows you can still book on the current day even when we are closed. We have Business Large and I do not see anything in the settings that allows you to set a stopping time or end of day. We need to stop allowing bookings by 6pm each day for that same day. They can book for the next day but nothing for same day after 6pm. We do not use time slots, these are full days like a hotel.

      Unfortunately, it is not possible in the Booking Calendar version to set some time slots as unavailable for the each days.
      Even more, if we will set specific times in calendar days as unavailable (for example from 6pm to 8am), then you can not make selection of such days for making FULL day bookings. It's only possible to make selection of the time slot in these days for making bookings for available times.

      So if you do not use the time slot in the booking form, you just need to write some text info (simple text) in the booking form or at the page that the working time ended at 6pm and starting at the 8am.

  4. I am trying to overwrite a style for the color of the selected boxes on the calendar. It is working fine on desktop but on mobile, I cannot get my style, even with !important, to be first. I see that the style that is overwriting is here /wp-content/plugins/booking.bl.9.1.1/css/skins/traditional.css. I have even tried applying a media query that covers all sizes but it won't overwrite. Without actually editing the plugin file, what else can I do to get this style to work? This is the selector .datepick-inline .datepick-one-month .datepick .datepick-current-day. The style that is working on desktop seems to have a media query applied to it for min-width:767px even though my style is not written in a media query. As I said, I tried that anyway just to see if it would work on mobile but no go. Please advise.

      It’s seems like cache issue.

      Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.

      • Yes, we have WP Rocket and I have cleared cache, several times, checked in other browsers and checked in incognito and it is still not overwriting.

          • Figured it out. It was still not working with WP Rocket completely disabled. It was not loading in correct order, not caching issue. I moved it to quick css within the theme and it is now working. Just for anyone else that might be having this problem, the child css, nor the customize css in WordPress overwrote the plugin style. We are using Enfold theme and the quick css was the only place it worked due to load order.

  6. Dear sir/madam,
    Is it possible to make some bookings for next year, when the months are white (closed) on the calendar? I want me to see them in the admin booking listing, but the customers will see white (clised) calendar.
    Is that possible?

    • Hello.
      It's does not possible to set it different for customers and for the admin.
      You can activate to make scrolling to the future months at the Booking > Settings General page in "Calendar" section, then make the booking and after this rollback the settings for not able to make some bookings for next year.

    Hello some ideas:
    -In search results, should have ability of editing css and adding categories titles berween apartments.
    -Automatic send every x days .ics on my email. For backup purposes.
    -In settings: number of months to scroll. Also to have the ability to add specific date. For example scroll until 31/12/23.

    How can I display a longer string ?

      then find this code:

      and replace it to this code:

  10. Hello!

    In the confirmation email to the customer, I would like to show a text depending on a checkbox (cleaning yes/no). I have already tried to program a shortcode for this, however it does not show up. Even if I write a very simple shortcode that only returns a string, the text does not appear in the email.

    Is there any way to integrate custom shortcodes into emails or any other way to display a text depending on a value from the form?

    I have installed "Business Large".

      In the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to use this:
      Cleaning: [checkbox my_cleaning ""]

      In the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to use this:
      Cleaning: [my_cleaning]

      Then in the emails you have to see something like this:
      Cleaning: yes

      or

      Cleaning: no
