Hi there
We will raise our prices for one room by 33% next year. So we created a season filter covering the whole next year, assigned it with "133" "%" to our room. But nothing changes in the booking calendar. Do we have to adjust the booking form too?
I double and tripple checked the season filter (it works fine if I use it to make next year unavailable), that it's assigned to the correct room and that the rate is set correctly. Why might it not work?
Thanks for your help
Hello.
From January 2023 in the calendar for the booking resource with ID = 29 your daily cost have to be as $75 per day.
Otherwise please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Hello.
1) Please be sure to set cost per 1 day at the Booking > Settings > Payment page i Stead of fixed cost.
2) Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and Activate this option “ Show debug cost info” at the Payment Options section. After this you will see your cost info at the front-end side of your website, for better understanding how costs is calculated.
Is there a way to use it with "fixed cost"? Because in our case, users can book rooms. They do that on an hourly base (and not a whole day). I quickly changed the setting but with the one day setting the prices are totally messed up.
Hello.
With fixed cost unfortunately it’s does not possible. Because the rates defined per days and if you select 2 days or more with same or even different rates such Cost Rates concept will not be possible to apply.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
We are using the booking system to book work cars. An issue developed recently where a user books a car for a partial day (say 9am-12:30) instead of the booking turning Orange for a partial booking it turns Red and it looks like it's booked for the whole day. Staff can't book on the same day.
Hello.
Please be sure that you have correctly configured time slots at the Booking > Settings > Form page. Booking Calendar support for timeslots only military format for times values.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.
SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE 'booking%'
After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.
5) You can make such migrate from one to other website only once. And of course you need to delete the Booking Calendar version at old website.
Hello
I want to buy the Booking Calender for Small Business for a new rental website.
Especially for machine rental here i want the customer to book a unique machine and after that pay with Paypal or Stripe.
But could it be possible for the customer to chosse ''delivery'' or ''pick up'' and could delivery be with different cost prices for each product? I also need different cost prices after the distance between the customer and the pick up point, is it possible?
I therefore need a solution there could calculate the distance between the customers address and the pick up point and then add it to the price when the customer need delivery.
Hello.
> I also need different cost prices after the distance between the customer and the pick up point, is it possible?
Unfortunately it’s does not possible in actual versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry.
Hello,
we are using Booking Calendar Business Medium Package.
1. We connected the booking process with PayPal payment gateway. The testing process in Sandbox mode was not worked for some reason, so we tried out the payment process with 1USD payment for one booking. This money has been sent automatically to Adamas Productions what was not configured in the plugin settings. Who is that recipient?
(After this issue we realized, that we have not used the right email address for receiving the payments in the plugin settings.)
.....
2. We want to activate auto return link and to configure IPN notifications, but the main problem is that we have already configured these URLs in Paypal settings for another membership plugin and there is not option to add more similar URLs. What would be the solution to configure this options using the same PayPal address?
Thank you in advance.
Andrea
Hello.
1) By default the PayPal email address at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page is empty. And it’s only The field who will be receive the payments if you will activate the PayPal. So you need to be sure that you have correctly configured this PayPal email at the Booking > Settings > Payment > Paypal page.
2) Unfortunately they is no other way to configure it for using the IPN. For using the PayPal IPN in the Booking Calendar you need to follow instruction at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page in IPN / help section.
Kind Regards.
Ok. Thank you.
One more question...
We configured the system if users leave the payment process, they will get notification email about the amount they need to pay. The URL in this email is wrong, it forwards users to the homepage instead of the direct link to pay, so if they do not pay immediately, they will lost this option.
How we can modify this link?
we are using Booking Calendar Business Medium Package.
We have three different calendars which are using the same CSS.
The datepick dot on the Partially booked item (under the calendar) is only visible on one calendar, but all calendars using the same CSS.
How can I fix this on the other calendars?
.wpdev_hint_with_text .datepick-inline .datepick-days-cell a {
font-size:1px;
}
Please do not forget to clear the browser cache before testing these changes.
Kind Regards.
Thank you, this helped.
Hello,
I have a pre-sales question.
My client is interested in buying Business Medium version of this plugin.
There is one question that I don't seem to find an answer to:
since the Stripe Payment Gateway is set up in the plugin's settings, there is no need to set up additional Woocommerce. Is that correct?
Hello.
Yes, it's correct.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, you will be able to check how integrated payment systems exist in the plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
We are using Booking Calendar Business Medium package.
We want to set available times for our calendars 10am to 2pm (meaning our clients can schedule 1p-2p but not 2p-3p) and 4pm - 7pm (can schedule 6p-7p but not 7p-8p) available M-F and 9a to 12pm Saturday morning.
We already set the one hour time intervals for working days but how we can set different time slots for Saturday?
Thank you in advance.
We are using Booking Calendar Business Medium version.
We have 3 different calendar resources.
1. When we tried to manually import events from the Google Calendar, every event was classified as the 1. resource.
Is it possible to import events to the appropriate resource? We want to set appropriately to automatically import events to our calendar.
2. We adjusted different bookable time slots for different working days. After the import, the calendar shows the imported events which are outside of these time slots. Is there any solution to hide the imported events which are outside of the scope?
Thank you in advance.
Hello.
1) You can import the events into the different booking resources, only if you are having the different URLs for the .ics feeds. So one .ics feed url for specific booking resource. Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcode to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
2) Unfortunately, no. The import works of importing the events, by using the dates and times, that already was inside of specific original .ics feed.
It is means that you need to be sure that you have already correct data in the .ics feed.
Kind Regards.
Hello!
Thank you for your detailed answer on 13/09/2022 at 19:46 - it helped my client in deciding to buy the Business version.
Now the plugin is purchased but we need to activate it (with the Order Number).
But it is only our dev (build) environment and later on, we will need to migrate the site to the live environment (different domain). Since the purchased plugin version is only "Single site edition - usage on 1 website", there might be a problem with license to migrate it and we should activate it on live environment. Is that correct?
Hello.

Hello!
Can you tell the plugin has the ability to export and import settings, resources, availability settings and other administrative settings?
I need to reinstall the site and want to keep all the settings and reservations.
Hello.
Unfortunately, no.
Here is general info about migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).
1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.
2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder} of old website to new website.
According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.
3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.
Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/4425kRMaFso
4) Also you will be need to backup and restore some records from the wp_options table, where option_name fields are starting from the "booking_" term.
Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/EZ4jxJDlTFs
Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.

Hello.
You need to configure the bookingedit shortcode correctly for this payment request.
It’s require that you correctly configure [bookingedit] for having this functionality, please check this FAQ instruction how to configure it: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

Hello.
It's because of CSS conflict with your theme.
Please open this file https://mindhackinghappiness.com/wp-content/plugins/booking.bm.9.2.3/css/client.css
( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )
then add this code to the bottom of this file:
.wpdev_hint_with_text .datepick-inline .datepick-days-cell a { font-size:1px; }
Please do not forget to clear the browser cache before testing these changes.
Kind Regards.
Thank you, this helped.
