  1. Hi,
I have a delay problem when i book date. i use the form to book 1 day on the calendar then I look in the DB. Everything is fine, the data is in but the date on the calendar isnt showed as "waiting for validation". i tried to empty the cache but it doesnt change.

i tried to book several times the same date and i have this them in the wordpress panel. Suddently on the calendar the date is shown as "waiting for validation". I have rejected all the reservations but the calendar is still with "waiting for validation".

    • Hello.
If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
This option "Use pending days as available" must be unchecked, as well.

If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

Otherwise probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.

      Kind Regards.

      • Hi,

Thanks for your help. It came from WP Super Cache. i deactivated it and everything is fine now. 🙂

        Kinds Regards

    • Hello.

It's most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them. You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again. If it does not help, please deactivate your active theme and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. Maybe there exists some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason for that issue.

If you still have this issue, please send the link to the page with a booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.

      Kind Regards.

        • Hello.

Your theme does not load any JS and CSS files.

Please recheck the header.php file from your actual theme. This file must to have this code:

          <?php wp_head(); ?>

          before this:

          </head>

Its standard rule for the themes.

That code allow to load the JS and CSS files for the plugins.
For example you can activate the “default WordPress theme” to test how its working.

          Kind Regards.

          • Hello,

Thanks for pointing me to the wp_head() function.
In your Plugin Settings there is a section where you can define on which page the js should be loaded. There was a wrong url configured which blocked the loading of the calendar.

After unchecking the Setting the Calender loaded without any problems.

            Thanks a lot and
            Best Regards,
            Jan

Gracias.
    Espero su respuesta. Un saludo.

    • Hello.
Please note, the sync functionality is not the instant, and depends from your configuration of the CRON at your server.

Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

      Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcode to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.

In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.

  4. Hello
    Thank you for your plugin.
One thing annoying me, I did not found an option to desactivate the possibility to choose a slot in hour already finisshed in the current day.

For exemple, I have possibility with my settings to choose a slot between 10h-12h, 12h-14h, 14h-16, 16h- 18h

Say, that it is 14h30 on the current day, normally I shouldn't can choose the slots [10h-12, 12h-14h, 14h-16H], right ?

    Actually, It is possible.

please, How can I configure the plugin to have correct behaviour ?

    Thank you !

    • Hello.
Please configure correctly timezone at the WordPress > Settings General page.
      Thank you.

      • Thank you for your very fast answer, but it's already correctly set !!

        • Hello.

Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

            • Hello.
System show this time slot, but will not allow to submit the booking. It will show warning, like this: "The time(s) may be booked, or already in the past!".
We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
              Kind Regards.

              • Ha yes Thank you I didin't see that.

And, another question, is it possible to say for exemple it's 8am and as administrator I don't want customer can book the slot in the next 4 hours or 8 hours ?

                • Hello.

You will be need to make the blank bookings for these time slot(s) at the Booking > Add booking page.
                  Kind Regards.

                  • No, what I wish is that can be configurable in admin and totally dynamic for every day, every time.
Just, when a customer comes to the reservation page and it's, let's say, 15h38, he can't schedule the slots of 16h00 - 18h00 and 18h00 - 20h00. Because these two slots are in the 4 next hours.
                    In the same manner, if a customer goes to the reservation page at 7h48, he can't schedule slots 10h00 - 12h00, because 7h48 + 4hours = 11h48.

                    Hope I'm more clear ?

                    • Hello.
We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin. Sorry.
                      Kind Regards.

  5. Hello,

I have the pro version. (Booking Calendar version: Booking Calendar MultiUser
    Order Number: {CUTTED})

I have set up the search form which works fine.
I also added search by category.
The date fields are required. Is it possible to make it optional?

    Thanks

    • Hello.
The dates in search forms can not be optional, because the search results is showing based on availability of such dates.
We will add this new feature of showing all booking resources does not depend from the dates to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin.
      Kind Regards.

    • Hello.
Currently Booking Calendar does not support "ACF fields" for the search custom parameters. Sorry.
Taxonomies in the search form is also not possible.
      Kind Regards.

    DESCRIPTION

Multilingual website. Correctly used [lang=XX-XX] in the booking form. The languages in the form change correctly, but the [hint] values do not work properly, because they always display the names of days and months in English, even though the language files in the plugins work correctly and are translated (almost 100% - checked in the Loco plugin).

    • Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page in "Booking Admin Panel" section and set checked this option "Use localized time format".

This option useful, if you have issue with translation of time format. If you activated this option, at some servers possible issue with "Daylight Saving Time" - booked times can be later on 1 hour.
      Kind Regards.

      • Thanks! Indeed, the operation of the plug has changed, but only in such a way that displaying the name of the week and the name of the month is now displayed in the browser or IP location (I do not know exactly where the location data is taken from?). So the problem is only partially solved, because the full names of dates in a given language are not consistent with the "Hreflang" field in the HTML website, e.g.:

        <html lang = "de-DE">

Is there any way that the names of the days of the week and the names of months in the dates displayed by [Hint] are consistent with the Hreflang code of the website and the country code that was used in the "booking form"?

        Sample form code:

        Check-in [check_in_date_hint]time [start_time_hint],
        Check-out [check_out_date_hint]time [end_time_hint].

        [lang=de_DE]

        Ankunft [check_in_date_hint]godz. [start_time_hint],
        Reise [check_out_date_hint]godz. [end_time_hint].

        [lang=pl_PL]

        Przyjazd [check_in_date_hint]godz. [start_time_hint],
        wyjazd [check_out_date_hint]godz. [end_time_hint].

        • Hello.
          1) I do not sure, what do you mean by this: "...given language are not consistent with the "Hreflang" field...".
          2) Please be sure that your active locale was set as de_DE and not as de-DE
It's inside of the settings of your translation plugin.
          Kind Regards.

          • Sorry, "hreflang" means the HTML tag in the page code, before the tag, i.e.

            e.t.c.

What I mean is that the "language switcher" sets the appropriate in the HTML code, and I added language tags in the booking form of the "Booking Calendar" plugin, e.g.

            [lang=en_PL]
            [lang=de_DE]
            e.t.c.

I thought that after this [lang=nn_NN] tag in the form code, all dynamic [hint] tags, e.g. [check_in_date_hint] or [check_out_date_hint], which are displayed in accordance with the given date format, e.g. "l, j F Y" will be translated to the language set with [lang=nn_NN]. Unfortunately they are not. Changing the setting to "Use localized time format" only causes the [hint] fields to be displayed according to the location of the user browsing the website, and not according to the HTML setting in the page code, i.e. .

I understand that this requires changes to the plugin's PHP code so that, for example, [check_in_date_hint] is displayed according to the language set in the booking form using [lang=nn_NN]?

It seems to me that the [lang=nn_NN] tags in the form code should change the language in dynamic [hint] fields. I thought maybe I set something wrong in the plugin, but it turns out that the [hint] fields just don't take into account the [lang=nn_NN] fields.

I leave this matter for consideration, is it not worth taking into account this dependency in the next version of the plugin?

            • Sorry again! 🙂 Only now I noticed that the forum "deletes" text fragments, where I inserted HTML tags, eg etc. I will paste the corrected text soon.

              • Oh no! Typing "" - also cuts such fragments of text 😉

I don't know how to insert it so that it doesn't delete automatically?

                • No sense! It cuts out snippets of HTML even if I use spaces, quotes, plus signs, etc.

                    • WT...? 😉

I put the link using the "link" button next to the "b", "i", "quote" buttons and it ALSO DELETED AFTER PUBLISHING THE POST?

The link to the image was as follows:
                      (maybe the forum won't delete?)
                      prnt. sc / fuTcHEKC7MOZ
(link is above, if you can't see it, I give up)
                      😀

                    • Hello.

Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Because here is not possibly to understand what was cutted in your original message.
                      Thank you.

  7. Is it possible to see which wordpress user approved the booking? Or the history of the booking? I didn't see that anywhere in the help file, or maybe am searching wrong.

    • Hello.
You can activate this option "Logging of booking approving or rejection" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Booking Admin Panel" section.
After this system will store info about approving/cancellation at the Notes section relative to specific booking.
It's available in the paid versions.
      Kind Regards.

  8. I'm doing something wrong but can't work out what it is. For a resource I've got the rate / night at £175, then i've got seasonal rates throughout the year which I've added using seasonal filters on the rates button https://i.imgur.com/ZK4Rwd1.jpg, but on the fron end the price is still showing at £175 / night throughout the year

    • Hello.
You need to activate each rate in your screenshot - set check-boxes as checked at the left side near specific rate.
      Kind Regards.

  9. Hello,

I need help in in configuring the auto sync with cron.

I read all the documentation, but I don't manage to finish the configuration.
