  1. Hi there -

    My booking calendar resources have become unavailable. The error for each is: "Table '.\db_a62e3b_w541_1\wp_bookingtypes' is marked as crashed and should be repaired" On my website, the error is that the resources don't exist.

    • Hello.

      Please try to deactivate the Booking Calendar and then activate it again (paid version). Of course, the Booking Calendar Free version must be deactivated or deleted during this process.

      • Otherwise make Full reinstall.

        For making full reinstall of plugin (it means that booking data will be erased).

        For this please open the general booking settings page and check the "Delete booking data during deactivation of plugin" at the right side of the page. Click the save changes button.

        Then open the WordPress plugins menu and click on the "Deactivate" link. Wait for the message that the plugin is deactivated successfully.

        After this Click on  "Activate" link of Booking Calendar plugin and wait for the message that plugin is activated successfully.

        After this test it again.

  2. I have the paid version of this plugin.
    I want to set my booking/calander to charge $119 on Friday, Satuday, and Sundays......and $89 on Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs.
    I can not find how to do this?? please help.

  3. Hello, does the Personal version of the plugin allow me to pick my preferred html code colors (no limits)?

  4. I want one week (arrival monday, departure monday) to cost 750€ but the calendar calculates that as 8 days not one week so the cost is 840€. Is there maybe an option on giving 50% discount on arrival and departure days so the one week will be correct? Or will I just have to reduce daily price?

    • Hello.
      You can set cost per 1 night at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
      Or otherwise you can configure "Valuation days" for having last selected day with zero cost (so its will be calculated like cost per night, in this case).

      - Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and be sure to set "cost per 1 day"

      - Then configure at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on "Valuation days" cost like this:

      For LAST day = 0 $ per 1 day.

      Where "LAST" - its reserved term that defining last selected day.

    I have another important question.

    How do I use "Square" as my payment option in Booking Calendar?

    I don't have "Stripe" I must use square.

      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

  6. Hi,

    After the last update, following the same steps I followed the previous updates, the system doesn't work well.

    Our customer noticed us the system is showing as pending a paid booking instead of showing it as approved.
    We have screenshots from the customer that prove that he did all the steps correctly. We even have the bank receipt.

    Do you know how to fix that?

    • Hello.

      If you are using the PayPal standard integration and your visitors is made the payment for the booking, but do not click on the "return link" on PayPal site to your site, so Booking Calendar do not know that the payment is successful - you will see unknown payment status, and this booking can be auto canceled , if you activated auto cancelation pending bookings that have no successfully paid status.  Stripe has to auto redirect to the booking page automatically. 

      So sometimes it's possible that the successfully paid bookings will not have this status and that's why it can be auto-canceled, if you do not approve them.
      Ideally (for PayPal) you will need to activate and correctly configure the PayPal IPN system, at the Booking > Settings > Payment page and in the PayPal account. So in this case PayPal has to send the messages directly to your booking system.

        It happens with Redsys, although it is not included in your list of payment gateways, customers ask to use this payment gateway.

        Without modifying the code for Redsys, I have gone back to version 9.5 of your plugin and it works correctly again.

        The bug happens with the new 9.6 update.

          What exactly error do you have ?
          Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

          • After the update to 9.6 the paid bookings are showed as pendent instead of approved and allow users to do a new booking because we have setted the system to put in trash pending bookings after 15 min.

            That happens after the update from 9.5 to 9.6

            Please, include Redsys in you list of payment gateways.

    I would like make the hour reservation so show a week calendar (as Timeline) and select the hours of days.

      The ability to select times and hours possible only by using inline month view calendar and then selection of available time slot in the booking form.
      The bookings for specific time slots are possible even in the Booking Calendar Free version ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/ ).

      But I recommend checking the Booking Calendar Business Small version, as well.

      The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including the free version), it is possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific time slot, this time slot becomes unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in the current specific calendar.

      You can configure the time slots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one "timerange" (time slots) or "start time" and "end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.           The hours possible to select in the booking form after selection of the date in calendar.
          You can configure the hours (time slots or start and end time or start time and duration of time fields) at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
          Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

            but I obtain the cells with time slot (as in the demo https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/) and not the list of time slot (as in the video).
            In the creation of Time slot list, I selected "Long selection view" and so the filed "select rangetime" become "select rangetime multiple" whitch suggests that I can select more time slot, but now with the time slot in cells I can't do it.

            Also In the video there is the clock on icon "partially booked", how do I do to add it?

              1) For deactivating time picker selection and to have selectboxes, please open the Booking > Settings General page in “Time Slots” section and Deactivate the “time picker” selectbox.

              2) Relative multiple time slots selection. It’s does not possible. Please check workaround here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/select-multiple-times/

              • I use the field "starttime" and "endtime" but I've a problem.
                If I send a booking from 2PM to 4PM, the other booking in the same day find locked only range 2PM-4PM in start time, but it allow to select for example from 8AM to 6PM. It should allow only from 8AM to 2PM and from 4PM to 6PM.

                  Yes, the end time is not disabled in the booking form during selection of the time slots.

                  But system still will not allow to submit the booking for this booked times. It's will show warning that selected time intersect with booked time slot.
                  So it still will not allow to book some time or date that already booked.

                  We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

                  • Then there is some problem with my plugin, because it allow to send the booking also with time intersected.

                    Also if I insert start time 11AM and end time 9AM, it allow to send the booking and commute it in all day.

                      You are making the booking at admin panel at Booking > Add booking page ad Administrator.
                      Because if that system skip checking at this page, because sometimes administrators need to overwrite some bookings.

                      Please insert the booking form at the front end side and make testing there.

                      1) You can resize the text-area element by adding this CSS code to the bottom of ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/css/client.css file this CSS code:
                      .booking_form textarea { width: 100%; height: 80px }

                      2) Currently the "clock symbols" for the time slot are not support in the calendar skins. You can use the different background color for the partially booked dates in calendar (for example in Light, Green and all "Times" calendar skins). You can change calendar skin at the Booking > Settings General page in "Calendar" section.
                      Additionally the partially booked dates showing with does in calendar date cell (number of dots == to the number of booked time slots).

  8. Hi, I am struggling in getting the verify email class to work properly. Do you have a guide on how to set it up, please?

    When I check the class name on the page it tells me that the email field is called email1 hence added class name as same_as_email1. I did try without one but that still wouldn't work.

        It doesn't compare the fields. It does validate that they are email addresses but doesn't work for comparison.

  10. Hello

    I have a problem, when I try to edit an existing booking in the back end panel. When I try to add some extras and then press save, I get the message "Try select fewer visitors... Number of visitors can be..."

    But there should be no problem on the specific date? Why could that happen, and what can I do?

    • Hello.
      Please recheck your selected date and time availability.
      Otherwise please recheck configuration of max. visitors and resource capacity at the Booking > Resources page and Your settings at the Booking > Settings General page in “Advanced” section.

      If it’s not help, please send screenshots of those pages and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
