Is it possible to create a field that is only accessible/visible from the administration area (other than "notes", which already exists)? I'd like to create a field for "Paid (Y/N)" and I don't want this information going out to the individual who submitted the booking.
Thanks!
Hello.
You can just change the status of Paymnet for the specific booking ( it's exist in the Business Small and higher versions). You can change the icon for chnaging payment status of the booking at the Booking Listing page near each specific bookings.
Or in the Business Medium version you can use the other custom form, where you will have the diferent form fields and then at the admin panel at add booking page use that specific custom form for editing or creating bookings.
Kind regards.
We are interest in purchasing the plugin but we cannot print from the demo. The printed page comes up blank. Exporting works fine. Is there something we have to do with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer to get the printing to work?

Hello.
Weird, it's have to work.
Please try to clear the browser cache and recheck that your browser do not block popup windows. Then test it again.
Try to test it in Firefox.
Kind regards.
Using the personal version: I'm trying to add reservations for a call in customer. When I do this it just adds the reservation for me. Is there some other method?
Hello.
You can create new booking at the Booking > Add booking page in Admin panel. PS Please deactivate the "Auto fill" fields for "logged in users" at the General Booking Settings page in form section for do not show your name and email in the form fields. Kind Regards.
Hi, On the free version, when I make a booking the booking is showing up in the "Bookings listing" but on the actual calendar on the blog page it is not showing up as "booked" or "pending" it still shows the day as "available" and allows further bookings to be made (which also do not show up).
Hello.
1) Please open the general booking settings page in your admin panel and recheck that you do not activated option: "Allow multiple bookings per same date" at the Calendar section. If you are having it active, please uncheck this option and update the settings.
2) Please recheck, that you do not use any Cache plugins, like WP Super Cache. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form.
Kind Regards.
1* In the Business Large and MultiUser versions it is possible to make bookings for the specific timeslot only for 'Single booking resources' - resources with capacity = 1. (Time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).
that means that a user can book a product only for a few hours and we can adjust their payment for that range?
Hello.
At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.
Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource. You can configure any times selections (hours or minutes) at the Booking > Settings > Fields page by using specific times fields. And of course visitor can make the several bookings per same date, but for the different available times.
At the Booking Calendar Business Large and MultiUser version possible make the bookings for the specific times only for the single booking resources, where capacity = 1.
Visitor can make payment, only for the booking(s), that was made by this visitor.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal(Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations, other payment systems are not supported yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
Kind Regards.
We just upgraded to 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.5.2.1 - everything seems fine except the "Bookings Details Summary" won't show above the form even though the box is checked in the settings (do display price based on dates choose). I thought it was because I had nested shortcodes on the page but I un-nested and it still won't show. see this page - https://www.bocasvacations.com/properties/casa-rana-roja/

Dear sirs,
We've purchased the wpbookingcalender bs for a client case.
One question: On a desktop it is easy to see which times that are partly booked on a date where there are unconfirmed or confirmed bookings already by hovering the mouse over the date in the calender. However, on a mobile device hovering is not possible so it seems the only way to see availble (or booked times) is to have a starttime field in the booking form which the user can scroll through and there the booked times are greyed out. Is there a setting or other solution to this which makes it clearer for the visitor on a mobile device which times on a partly booked date that is already busy? Otherwise it is a suggestion for coming versions that if a user clicks on a date where there are already a partial booking present it could be displayed under the calendar for example.
We also have a comment/suggestion for improvment on the logic of the 2 click dynamic range selection behaviour. If a user clicks a start date but realizes that the date was clicked in error (they wanted a previous date as start date), the user must click once again in the same date or in a later date to make a valid selection in order to make it is possible to click on an earlier date to make a new date range selection. Our users find this confusing and feels they get "locked" in a way after the first erroneous click. We think it would be more user friendly if the second click is made in a date before the one already selected, the already selected date should be "forgotten" and the second click be treated as a new "first click". If the second click is made on a date before the first click it is reasonable to believe that the user just wanted to change the start date.
Best regards,
Stefan Helander
Hello
Unfortunately, in the actual version updates the booked timeslots for the mobile devices in calendar is showing in the same way as for desktop computers.
I will add this feature (showing the booked timeslots under the calendar for the mobile devices) to the TODO list for the future updates. Thank you for this suggestion.
About the selections of the range days in a way as in your description. We will test and check if its will be good way or we can make something else. Because here may be better to show the messages under the calendar that the visitor select first day and now need to select last day. Its because too much logix connected to the range days selections (like conditions days selections), and there can be some issues if we will not block previous days after first click on calendar. Anyhow thank you for the suggestion.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
first of all thanks for the great plugin, it really works perfect. And thanks for your more than professional support!
I have one question. I own 5.3 Business Large version. I have several holiday homes and some of them are of the same type. Let's say I have 5 identical houses: A, A1, A2, A3 & A4. So for resource "A" I set capacity to 5, for example. The numbers of the houses (A2, A3...) are only for internal use. I don't want the client to see these numbers in advance. When I confirm a booking, the email which is sent then shows the number of the house. Is it somehow possible only to use the name of the first house ("A"), even in the emails? I'm not sure if I am clear... I hope you understand what I mean. When the client makes the reservation it only shows "A", no matter which house will be really assigned... I'd like to have this for all mails. And because I don't want to confuse it too much I don't want to name all houses of the same type equally...
Thank you in advance,
Sven
Hello.
You can rename all your "child" resources (at the Booking > Resources page) and to have all names for the child resources the same
Instead of these names
A
- A1
- A2
- A3
- A4
have these:
A
- A
- A
- A
- A
Otherwise its does not possible to have name of "parent" resources in the emails for the booking of child resources. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
Ok thanks, then I'll do it this way.

Sven
Sorry to bother again... I just found out that [link_to_booking_resource] on the search results is jumping to the default language of the site. Is there a way to keep the language? I'm using permalinks like /en/ for English, /es/ for Spanish in the URL... maybe there's a quick workaround...?
Thank you in advance.
Best,

I'm designing a site for a client who will need a calendar to book service appointments. After testing your demos I'm thinking about purchasing the business medium version of the booking calendar but have a few questions before I proceed.
1. Is there a grace period to determine if this version meets the clients need? (meaning if I need a higher version can I pay the difference or will I have to pay the full purchase price).
2. Can the calendar display available times instead of booked times when hovering over a specific date?
3. Can the email confirmation display selected range time name instead of hours? example (Time: Morning)
to help explain myself, below is the code that I used while testing one of you're demos.
[select* rangetime multiple "Morning@@8:00 - 12:00" " Afternoon@@13:00 - 17:00" "Full Day@@08:00 - 17:00"]
Although the timeslots show Morning/Afternoon/Full day in the form, I can't find a shortcode that will display the selected timeslot in the email.
Thanks in advance, I look forward to your responses.
