    I have version Business Large.
    I am trying to insert the calendar availability option in a page, but I want that have a link to the URL to book like the widget works, is it possible, or I must do it manually?

      You need to insert the shortcode for the "availability calendar" into the page and below this shortcode (manually) insert the link to the other page with booking form. Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

      Please note, "availability calendar" will just show availability, but do not allow to select the dates for booking. Its possible only in the booking form with calendar.

  2. Hi,

    My version is Business Large.
    I've inserted a booking select option in a page with different resources and forms.
    My resources are:
    Parent
    Child 1
    Child 2
    Child 3

    and different forms for each Child resource. However, when I choose between these resources the form doesn't change correctly (I do not show the parent resource). Why?

      You need to open the Booking > Resources page and set for the specific booking resources specific custom form as default.
      Then you can insert the "booking select" shortcode where you be able to select specific booking resources and specific custom form for specific booking resources will be show up. Please note, in this shortcode you can specify to show only specific booking resources or all booking resources.       Also please note, you need to use version 5.2 or newer to be able to show the custom default booking form, if you selected specific booking resource.

  3. Hello,

    My version is Business Large;

    I am designing a site where I need to make reservations for boats.
    I've found some cases that I cannot solve and maybe you can tell me if it is possible with your plugin:

    1 Boat with 10 pax capacity
    This boat has 4 services (exclusive 2h, Exclusive 4h, Exclusive all day, Open 2h)

    So, If I choose Exclusive 2h it shows me the times that are available and book this resource completely for this time. Then if I want to book Exclusive 4h and the time is overlapped the system should not allow to book it.
    If I choose Open, I can book pax until the capacity of boat will be full.

    I know that is a little bit complicated.

      Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date, its does not possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Please read my suggestion below about the possible configuration.

      At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.
      Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

      At the Booking Calendar Business Large version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it’s mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.

      Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, where will be list all your options.

        I am afraid that your suggestion doesn't work for me. So I need one resource with different time slots that share the capacity. If I create different resources per time slot I don't have the real capacity.
        For exemple;
        A boat can be booked at 10 to 12 or at 10 to 14, so the time slot will be overlapped and should be unavailable for one of them.

        Do you have any other suggestion?

          Unfortunately its does not possible to "apply" capacity of booking resources to the "timeslots". Its possible to use capacity of specific booking resources only for entire days, to show availability for these days.

    I´m using this calender in Business Small

    Is it possible to make several selections of the same item on the same day ? ex. i have 5 of the same items i want to rent out the same day...

      At the Booking Calendar Business Small (and Business Medium versions) possible to make the several bookings only for the different timeslots at the same date.
      Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

  5. Hello,
    I'm using your Business Small edition an I have an issue with you additional cost option.

    Here is my proble :
    When i put the € sign in an option field into a select type form like this :
    Adultes* :[select* visitors "1" "2" "3 (+30€)"]

    The additional cost linked to the "3 (+30€)" option wont save and display 100% when I come back in the additional costs settings page.
    I also tested to put € or € and got the same results.
    Is there anything I can change in a file that can allow me to enter the "€" sign into options fields and then save the additional costs linked to them?

      2) Then try to use in your booking form configurations like this:
      Adultes* :[select* visitors "1" "2" "3 (+30&euro ;)@@3"]
      Without empty space here "euro ;"

        I just wanted to update you after the update and code correction.
        This works fine, but everytime I want to modify the form, I have to replace "€" by "&euro ;".

        Except this little issue, this works fine and the new features of the plugin satisfy my client.

  6. We have a Business Small license. I have setup a calendar with ten minute time-slots to allow visitors to sign up for an event that will happen on 3 different days. I need to be able to disable all other days on the calendar while still showing the calendar so that our visitors can see which time-slots have been taken on each available day. How do I disable all but the 3 days in the month?

    I am using Business Medium and I am trying to see if its possible to create an age verification within the form.
    ie a parent is filling out the form for there child to go on a course, but the child must be over 5 to do so.
    How can I set it so that the form stops them unless there 5 or over?

      In the actual versions of Booking Calendar there are no some type of "age verification" logic.
      Probably, in your case you just need to to have the child age selections starting from 5 years. So visitor just can not select less age.

    Im using Business Medium licence, I've tired exporting the CSV of booking's, but its come down as a bit of a mess. Everything has come in under 1 column which makes it very hard to understand it. Have I done something wrong or missed a step in setting up the Fields or is there a way to customize the CSV download?

      If you are using the MS Excel, probably its some old version, which do not support the ";" as separate symbols, and you will be need to make customization to change it from ";" to ","

      Please, make this little fix.

      Open this file: ..\wp-content\plugins\{Booking Calendar Folder}\inc\personal.php

      find this code:

      $line__separator = ';';

      then replace it to this code:

      $line__separator = ',';

  9. We are running the Business Medium licence on blackdowncottage.co.uk and we are getting this message emailed from SagePay:

    "We've noticed that you're testing transactions using an older protocol. As of December 31st, 2014 we will no longer allow transactions using older protocol versions on our test gateway and we stop supporting these transactions in the live environment as of July 31st 2015.

    We strongly encourage you to upgrade your current protocol to V3. Upgrading to V3 gives you access to new features and functionality including managing surcharges, bespoke fraud screening tools and our upcoming release of mobile optimised pages."

    Can you advise when you might be updating to include this?
