Hi,
How do I mark certain days of a booking resource as unavailable? I don't want to change the available days on all booking resource calendars, just on some of them.
Thanks,
Cait
Hello.
The easiest way to set specific dates as unavailable is to make the "blank" booking(s) for these dates at the Booking > Add booking page in admin panel.
At the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions possible to set the specific dates as unavailable by defining them as season filters and then set them as unavailable for the specific booking resources. Please read more about it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Kind Regards.
Hello,
is it possible to display ONLY the cost_hint of a specific ressource with a shortcode?
I'd like to output the cost_hint of a specific ressource
a) normal text on pages
b) in wp custom fields.
Thanks
Hello.
The [cost_hint] shortcode is possible to use in the booking form to show th cost of the specific booking based on the selected dates and some other selected options.
If you want to show [cost_hint] in one form (for specific booking resource) and do not show it in other booking form, then you can create the several custom booking forms (at the Booking > Settings > Fields page ) with and without [cost_hint] shortcodes.
If you want to show the standard cost of the booking resource (per day) in the post or page, so its does not possible to use such type of shortcode. You can only enter this cost manually as fixed text into the content of the post.
Please note, in the Booking Calendar Business Large version in search availability results such type of the standard cost of booking resources is showing. You can check it here: https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/search/
Kind Regards.
"You can only enter this cost manually as fixed text into the content of the post." Thats bad news. Imagine 40+ ressources in 2 or 3 languages. If pricing change, we have to edit manually?
The workaround to create a new form does not work because your system allows only one form on the same page.
To display specific ressource standard cost and other values with a shortcode would be a GREAT feature in future updates.
Thanks
Hello.
I will add this feature to the TODO list for having ability to show the standard cost of booking resource by using some shortcode.
Kind Regards.
thank you.
Hello,
I have a question about booking.
Is it possible to only book on Mondays and Fridays end the end is also on Mondays and Fridays?
And set fixed prices for week, midweek, weekends.
For example:
Weekends costs: 300
Midweek Costs: 350
Total: 650
Hello.
Its possible in th Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions.
1) About days selections. You need to activate the range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks and configure the specific minimum and maximum number of days selections and the possible start week days of days selection. Please read more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#range-days-selection
Then you need to configure the exactly possible specific number of days selection, which will depend from the check in day (start day of selection). you can configure it in the options parameter of booking shortcode, during inserting it into the post or page. Please read more about this configuration here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/#booking-options-condition
2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions you can configure the cost, that will depend from the number of days selection (and even from the check in day). Please read more about it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
Kind Regards.
Hi,
A pre-sale question:
Is it possible to show or hide different payment methods as a function of number of days to check-in?
For example: offering "PayNow" or "Sending Payment Request by Email", as a standard option for guests, but if there are less then 5 days up to check-in, offer only "PayNow" payment.
Thanks!
Hello.
1) Its possible to show the "Deposit cost" or "Full cost" to pay depend from the number of days between "check in" day and "today date". Please read more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#deposit
2) The possibility to pay the deposit is available t the Booking Calendar Business Medium version and higher versions of the Booking Calendar. Please note, its possible to activate the payment deposit or full cost for the specific booking resource in the admin panel (at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page).
Sending payment request for the deposit payment.
Here is little instruction about this configuration in case you are need it.
Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.
Now open the General Booking Settings page and set checked this option: "Deposit payment:" at the "Costs" section.
You can open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page and by clicking the "Deposit amount" button configure the deposit amount value.
This cost will be show in the payment form, after visitor is made the reservation. So probably its cost will be smaller than full amount. And your visitors can make the payment of that amount.
At the admin panel at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the FULL cost, but inside of the "notes section" (you can activate it by pressing the note button at the right side of the each section), you will see the description similar to this:
Total cost: $135.00 /deposit: $54.00, balance: $81.00/ - 07.22.2012
If you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need firstly
A) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form. You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.
B) Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.
Kind Regards.
Pre-Sale questions!! (have tested the demo but still dont know if this plugin can handle what we need)
We offer a sitter service (parents needing sitters to watch their children)
We would like to convert into a full automated online booking service instead of taking bookings over the phone.
1. A parent picks a sitter from our list, this sitter costs 15hr. Lets say they pick "Monday", can they pick the time they want, say 4pm to 8pm? will the price of $15hr then calculate to $120 (4hrs)? Also, if the parent has 2 or 3 children (more kids costs more money) will it change the total amount depending on how many kids?
2. Now the parent above decides they want to book a few other separate days along with "monday". Lets say Wednesday and Friday. can the parent specify the times for each day and how many kids each day?
3.The parent loves our service and now wants to put those exact days and times on a schedule for every week. This way she doesn't have to book each week or worry the sitter she likes is booked. Can this be done?
4. Payment - Can i postpone the payment untill the sitter has completed there job? not charge them all up front. We use woocommerce, all our parents are paying members (subscriptions / paypal) can we just charge their card threw paypal without them having to always fill out payment details?
5. Can the "parent" access their profile and see there current bookings (cancel, notes etc.)
6.Can the "SITTER" access there profile and see they have bookings? also can they get notified of a new booking?
We hope this plugin can manage all of these!
let us know
thanks
Hello.
1) Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium version.
a) In this version you need to activate the "single day selection" mode at the General Booking Settings page in calendar section.
b) Then at the Booking > Settings > Fields page you can configure entering or selections of the times. Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode. You can use one "timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and "end time" selections or "starttime" and "duration" of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo (Business Medium) you will need to reconfigure.
c) You can set cost per hour at the General Booking Settings page in cost section and activate the "Times apply to cost" option there. And then configure the cost per resources at the Booking > Resources page.
d) If you need to have the different cost depend from the number of selected visitors, then its possible at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. Please read more about it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
2) If the parent decide to make the booking of the other times at the other weekdays, then he/she will need to make new booking. Unfortunately, its does not possible to book the different times in the different weekdays. Its only possible to book the same timeslot (same times) for the different selected weekdays (in this case you need to activate the multiple days selection mode and this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the calendar section.
3) Sorry, the "schedule for every week" bookings does not support.
4) You can deactivate all payment gateways at the Booking > Settings > Payment page to not show the payment at all.
Later you can send the payment request by the email. Sending payment request instruction .
Please read firstly this article about the correct configuration of the "payment link" : https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/ Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email. At the admin panel at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the cost of booking.
If you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need firstly
- Edit the cost of the booking (if you want to change the cost of booking). You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.
- Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.
5) No, there are no "profile" in the Booking Calendar for the visitors, who made the booking.
6) If you need that the "SITTER" have the access to the own admin panel and receive the notifications about the new bookings, then in this case you need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version. Please read more about it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-admin-panels
Kind Regards.
The MultiUser version looks promising, but its way out of our budget at the moment. will take a look at the other options. thanks for the quick reply!
Hi,
I`m facing an error as I try to access Demo Admin panel. Login page loads with "demo" user name and a 4 character password, but as I hit "Log In" button, I receive a 403 response page:
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin-panel/ on this server."
Should I use a different credential?
Thanks.
Hello.
There are no any other users for making tests at the live demos.
Probably you was accidentally enter some symbols to the login data, if you enter it and system detect that user is not exist it's block visitor who try to login for 3 hours. Please try to make tests later.
Also system check some other security things, like do not allow auto submit form with some parameters, etc... to protect from spam.
Kind regards.
Hi, thank you very much for your patience. I still have two further questions.
1) May I add an extra button on a payment page, for off line payment (payment sent by e-mail), as a further payment option, mixing to standard online payment options?
If yes, what about the booking status? As a user chooses off line payment, booking status will be initially "pending"?
2) May I set two different payment pages to be used for a single resource, so that we may use a different payment page for a specific season?
In other words, please let us know if the following could be done:
- Set up a season
- On the booking form, as the user selects a check-in date that matches the season, we change the "Send" button to point to a different payment page (hide one button and show another)
Thanks again!
Hello.
1) Unfortunately, its does not possible in easy way such type of payment systems. Sorry.
If you want to make the integrations of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how is integrated the Payment system (on the example) of the PayPal system at this file:../booking/inc/payments/paypal.php . You will be need to create your file with similar structure in that folder. Also you are need to include the calling of your file into this file: ../booking/inc/payments/index.php in the same way, as it was done for the other 3 payment systems.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
2) Relative to show the different payment button depend from the seasons. Unfortunately, it's also not possible, because the "Send" button require for creation new booking. And only after this is showing payment form(s).
You can make some customization in your payment form, because its transfer (dates) to the payment form in any way, but its does not relative to the season filters.
Kind Regards.
Thanks for your explanation
Regarding payment form customization, may we insert a javascript onload() code to hide a DIV if "check-in date" minus "current date" is less then 5?
As I understood, check-in date is available on payment form.
Thanks again
So, we may use "condition rules" inside payment forms? This form has access to season data? There is no calendar on payment forms.
Unfortunately, its does not possible to use these conditional rules for the payment forms, its working only withing the booking form (not the payment form). I just make this suggestion, in case if you need to have some hidden field.
I was said that here is no some simple solution relative to your description. Its in any case require some customization.
Kind Regards.
I have the relay response activated for the Authorize.net payment portal. This loads a "Thank You" page after a payment has been submitted. Is there a way to get the Authorize.Net assigned Order ID passed to this page so it can be displayed to the user?
I am also curious what suggestions you have to get the customer data sent to this page from previous pages? This data would be the information the user enters to submit a booking.
Thanks
Hello.
Unfortunately, in the original versions its does not possible to have this functionality.
Its require customization. But unfortunately, we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.
If you want to make this customization by yourself, you can do this in the ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/payments/authorizenet.php file starting from this function: function wpbc_check_response_status_with_crypted_paramaters__authorizenet( $response_status , $pay_system = '', $status = '', $booking_id = '', $wp_nonce = '' )
This function is making redirect to the "thank you page": function wpbc_auto_approve_or_cancell_and_redirect__authorizenet($pay_system, $status, $booking_id) {
Its function, which executed after redirection from the Authorize.net website to your website, after this execution of this function, plugin is redirected visitor to the Thank you page, and there you need to transfer some your parameters.
P.S. Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
Kind Regards.
We currently have the Availability Calendar plugin version 4.0.1, and are trying to find out if this would have been a free or paid version? Also if we update this to a newer version will it affect the calendar that we are currently using? We currently have set up on our website a one month calendar view and you scroll through to the next month etc. however we would prefer to display 12 months, so need to be able to adjust the calendar size and display the months over a number of rows, could you advise how best to do this?
Also, I has noticed that you are using your custom calendar skin: ( ../booking/css/skins/omg.css ). You need to backup it and after update again restore it at the same folder. Because during update process all files of plugin is replacing. so if you was making any customizations in the source, this customization will be lost.
4) You can configure to show 12 months in calendar instead of only 1 at the calendar shortcode. Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/
Please note, in the new versions update of Booking Calendar you can also configure the size and number of months in one row in the booking calendar shortcode at the "options" parameter. Please recheck it in the same instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

Hello.
1) Its seems that at this page: https://www.orlandomagicalgateway.com/ you are using the Booking Calendar Free version.
2) If you want to extend your functionality to one of paid versions, then you can check version overview here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/ and select one of required versions.
3) Your actual free version, you can make update (in usual way from the WordPress > Plugins menu page). Please read here about saving booking data during update process: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/update-older-to-newer-free-version/
If you will make update from free to paid version, then you can check this instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/upgrade-from-free-to-paid-version/
Kind Regards.
