  1. Hello there,

when I add a "time range" to the booking form, and select a date in the calender, then I can not select already booked times. This works great.
But when I add"start time" and "end time" in the booking form and select the same date (a date that already contains a booking), then I can select the already booked times. When I click on "send" then a message comes with "Start Time is invalid. The date or time may be booked, or already in the past! Please choose another date or time."

My question: is it possible to disable the already booked "start time" and "end time" (like with "time range") ?

    Thank you in advance.
    Paul

    • Hello.
Sorry, this feature for the start and end time is not available yet. But I will add it to the todo list for having it in the future updates.

  2. Hi
I would like to set up goal tracking under Google Analytics when someone books and submits using this plugin.
Can you advice how we can set this up?
Or whether it is possible to redirect the user to a 'thank you' page
    Thanks!

    • Hello.
You can configure the redirection to the "thank you" page at the General Booking Settings page. So then you can set at that page the code for the Google Analytics. Please note, at the Business Small and higher versions its will work, only if the all payment systems are deactivated, totherwise the system will not be redirected to the "thank you page" but show the payment form and then redirect to the "Payment" page.

      Kind regards.

  3. Hello,
I was using the Booking Calendar free version for some time now and everything worked just fine.I just upgraded from the Booking Calendar free version to the BS version to acquire some extra functionalities.
    The upgrade just went fine.
So I tested if everything still works.
The calendar and the form are still showing correct on the website.
But now when I click on any date in the calendar, the colour doesn't change of the selected day, nothing happens.
    Regards
    Marc

    • Hello.
Please try to clear the browser cache and then test it again.

If its not help so its seems like some CSS conflict, try to change the skin to some other variant at the General Booking Settings page and then test it again.
If its not help also, please deactivate one by one your active plugins to recheck if someone is generate this issue, if its not help, please deactivate the actual theme and activate the default one and then test it. Just need to find the reason of this issue.

      • Hello,
I have tested a bit with the different skins.
        standard: doesn't work
        traditional: doesn't work
All the other skins are working! But I used the tradional skin and want to keep using it.
The next thing I tried was compare the traditional.css from the paid version with the free version and saw there were some differences. As a test I copied the traditional.css from the free version and with that it seems to work in the paid version.
        Can you check on that?
        Regards
        Marc

  4. Hi,I was using the Booking Calendar free version for some time and everything worked just fine. I upgraded the Booking Calendar and Word Press to latest version.
The upgrade just went fine, with no errors. The calendar and the form are still showing on the website, but I can only select single date when booking.

There is no javascript error in the page.
It´s using jquery v1.8.3, so it is not the missing brower functions in jquery 1.9 and later.

    • Hello.
I can see the calendar at your page.
Please clear the browser cache and then test it again.
      Kind regards.

  5. Hi I would like to have a very simple from/to form instead of the calendar. Maybe have the calendar pop up as we choose the from/to dates. Is this possible or available on the paid versions?

    Thanks in advance

    • Hello.
right now plugin is support only in-line calendar in the booking form for the making the bookings. The popup calendar(s) is not supported yet. Sorry.

      • I'm sure this is a very easy upgrade. This is very important, most sites with booking systems use this instead of the full calendar, it should be a standard. It's also more efficient to display from/to form instead of a full calendar when displaying on mobile devises. Am I gonna get a free license if I get this fixed for you guys??

        • Hello.
This feature will be available in the future updates.
But please note, it's only from first view it's seems easy to include it. You need to remember that these popup calendars (for check in/out dates) have to show as unavailable already booked dates or dates from season filters which are marked as unavailable, it's have to show the mouse over tool tips for the rates and Availability, and it's have to show correctly the selection of check out date if the visitor I'd configured the range days selections for the specific days of week, etc...

  6. Hello - I am currently using a paid version of the booking calendar but when I use the [bookingedit] shortcode I get this message: "You do not set any parameters for booking editing". I have put the page URL into the settings box like the instructions. Also the shortcode insert button in visual mode doesn't respond when I click on it so cannot add it that way.
    Please help!
    Thanks

    • Hello.

      A) 2) If you are want to cancel the booking as admin, so you can cancel it at the Booking Listing page by clicking "Cancel" icon at the right side of the each booking.

If you are need to add this possibility for the visitors, so please check instruction how todo it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

Here is description how to configure it:

      1) Firstly we are need to insert the [bookingedit] shortcode to some page.

Please note, if we open this page directly, we will see this warning "You do not set any parameters for booking editing", its because is possible to open the links to this page only from the email templates, which is received the visitor, after he made the reservation. (inside of that link will be specific parameters for the identification of the booking).

      2) Now, we can open the General Booking Settings page and insert into the "URL for booking editing" option, our URL to the page from point #1.

      3) Now we can open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and insert into the specific email templates the shortcodes for the links to the editing/cancel or payment request about the specific booking.

      4) Now if we are made the booking, We will receive the email with link for possibility to edit this booking.

      B) If you can not insert the booking shortcode into the post or page, after clicking on the "Booking" button at the edit toolbar, so probably some other plugin is block it or overwrite the functionality of the edit toolbar.

      1) You can insert the booking shortcode manually. Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

      2) If you are want to use the popup configuration dialog for the insertion of the booking shortcode, please try todo these troubleshooting steps. (By the way, please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ )

      - Please turn the edit toolbar to the "Visual mode" from the "Text mode". Try to test.
      - If the previous step is not help, please try to deactivate (one by one) your active plugins and test if its fix issue or not. Just to find, what plugin is generate this issue. Right now is exist one known plugin, which is can generate this issue, please check it at the FAQ https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section
      - If the previous steps not help, please deactivate the actual theme and activate the default one and then test it again.

  7. Hi
We are about to go live with our site and we have been testing the payment system.
The client is using sage pay and while the gateway works the bookings listing is not showing the current status of payment.
The site is set up to take 25% payment which it does do but in the CMS the payment label is set to unknown even if the payment has been made.
The client needs the system to say what status the payment is in so they know to request the full payment.
Please advise asap. It you need a link to the CMS please email me.
We have tested it with real payments but nothing up dates the label

    Thanks
    James

    • Hello.
Please open the payment settings page and recheck that you are configured correctly the links to your site (thank you page), when the payment is done.
Then please activate the "Simulator" Sage pay mode, and make the test booking and test simulator payment at the sage pay site. You will be able to click at the different buttons (ok, rejected, etc..) at the end of payment process. So then you can check if the status of payment of the booking is changed or not.
      Kind regards.

      • Hi
Yes I can see approved payments in sagepay. But the booking plugin still says payment unknown as the status.

        • Hello.
Did you try it in the "Simulator" mode ?
Did you was redirected to the "thank you" page correctly ?
If the answer to the both questions is "yes", please send the link to the page with that booking form, I will make some tests.

  8. Hi,
We're using Business Medium with the PayPal gateway. Several times now we've had an issue where we receive the payment, but the booking is not registered in Booking Calendar. This is a major problem which causes a lot of extra work to figure out each time it happens.
What is causing this, and what can we do to fix this?
    Thank you!

    • Hello.
If you was received the payment for the booking in the Paypal, but have no relative booking at the system at all. So it's mean that this booking was canceled accidentally by some user or this booking was canceled automatically. Last option is possible if you activated the "automatic cancelation" of the pending not successfully paid bookings at the general booking settings page. The PayPal IPN system notify the booking calendar system after the booking was canceled. So try to increase the time, when the booking have to auto cancel or deactivate the "auto cancelation" feature.

  9. Hello,
using 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.4.0.2. Have been tasked with cleaning up accessibility issues.  I was wondering how I can include labels for the form controls?  Adding <label for =""> messes up the styling and putting an id in the shortcode for the field bricks the functionality.  Any particular way to do this for the booking calendar to meet accessibility requirements?

    thanks!

    • Hello.
You can specify the ID of the specific text input element using this parameter: "id:id_name".
For example: [text* name id:name_id ""]
where "name_id" its ID of that element.
But please note, because this form is used for the different booking resources, so its possible that at the same page is exist several booking forms for different resources, but its mean that we will have the 2 input elements with the same ID, what can generate issues. So thats why each ID will have at the end the booking resource ID. So for example, if we are insert the booking form for the resource with ID = 1 and with ID = 27, so in these 2 forms we will have elements, like these:
      <input type="text" size="40" class="wpdev-validates-as-required" id="name_id1" value="" name="name1">
      and like this
      <input type="text" size="40" class="wpdev-validates-as-required" id="name_id27" value="" name="name27">

So thats why you have to use the labels in such way:

      <label for="name_id1">First Name (required):</label> [text* name id:name_id ""]

where 1 - its ID of the specific booking resource.

  10. The datepicker won't work anymore and the error given is:
Error: TypeError: jQuery(...).popover is not a function
    Source: https://www.decouter.nl/wp-content/plugins/booking.bm.4.0.2/js/wpdev.bk.js
    Line: 814
I tried to disable plugins I updated recently but with no luck.
WordPress version in use is: 3.5.2
    Plugin version: 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.4.0.2
I purchased the BM this year and I noticed that you have a new version. How do I update to this newer version? Hopefully it could solve my datepicker problem.
Could you please help me out?

      • Thanx for your quick reply.
        1) The option to disable BootStrap scripts is not enabled; so it should be loaded. I had it once enabled to see if it would solve my problem, but after checking I disabled it again.
        2) Will send an e-mail for the update request.

        • Hello.
          1) Try to disable (one by one) your active plugins, to recheck if some active plugin is a reason of that issue.

          • 1) I have tried your advice , but had no luck. Hopefully the upgrade will solve my problem. I keep on searching scripts that could interfere...
            2) I 've sent the upgrade request.
