Hi,
I'm on business small.
My WordPress uses qTranslate to manage multilingual.
When I change language I see that the calendar translates month in page, but when using sort codes in Booking > Settings > Fields, translation doesn't work:
I do as follows:
<p>Nombre [lang=en_EN]First Name (required):<br /> [text* name] </p>
<p>Apellidos [lang=en_EN]Last Name (required):<br /> [text* secondname] </p>
<p>Email (required):<br /> [email* email] </p>
<p>Teléfono [lang=en_EN]Phone:<br /> [text phone] </p>
Thanks for your answer.
Does Wp Booking translation work well with qTranslate plug-in?
Do I need to use Wpml plug-in to be able to use sort codes for translations under Wp booking?
Sorry I don't get it at all with the link you provide.
Hello.
Yes, the new version update 5.0 is support the qTranslate plugin also.
I have business small version. After purchase I tested the site by setting up various bookings. After approval, I deleted all those bookings to clear the entire calendar. Unfortunately, the statistics page still shows statistics such as "you have 1 booking today" or "you habe 5 pending bookings", how can this be made to reflect the actual calendar?
Hello
Probably it's bookings from the past.
For showing these bookings please click on the "new booking" link at the general booking settings.
Or switch the "current dates" to the "all dates" in the Booking Listing page at filter tab and then apply that filter to show these bookings.
I want to customize the standard booking form.
I made changes in bookings/settings/fields,but those changes don't appear in the front booking form.
I'm using following shortcode:
[booking type=26 nummonths=1]
I' using version '9.MultiUser.SingleSite.4.1.4'.
Regards,
Maarten
I want the front end of the calendar to look something like this: https://thehitting-zone.com/c/index.php/reservation-system - so basically I want the back end to display on the front end but be editable only by admins. Is there some way to do that?
Thanks.
Hello.
Unfortunately such type of the view at the front-end is not supported, yet. Sorry.
Kind regards.
hi, Im using the small business version on a Dutch (NL) site. It seems some translations to NL have been made, but if a client books on a time that is reserved, the english message appears. The time(s) may be booked, or already in the past! and Start Time is invalid. The date or time may be booked, or already in the past! Please choose another date or time.
when I check the .po files the NL translation for the above error messages are there, but obviously not showing on the site. How do I fix this?
Hello.
Please recheck that the MO file of that translation was updated simulationly with the PO file.
Because the system is use the MO translation file (PO translation file it's source file). If you are still will have this issue, please send both these files to the support email and we will recheck it.
Kind regards.
Hello.
Your translation was marked as "Fuzzy" and thats why was not applied into the MO file.
Please recheck your PO file one more time, there is many rows are marked as "Fuzzy".
If the translation is fine, please uncheck this status and re-update the MO file.
Kind regards.
Hi,
We're a photo studio that need to differ between member/non-member rental and currently it is set up as 2 resources for the same room. However when someone book a given time slot, let's say a member it doesn't show in the non-member booking calendar resulting in a possible double booking. How can this be solved? We're running Business Medium.
Hello.
You are need to use only one booking resource.
But you can define the several custom forms at the Settings Fields page. One custom form for member and other for the non members.
You can insert into 2 different pages one custom form for the members and other custom form for non members into other page, but select the same resource for both pages.
Please check more info here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
and here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/
Ok Thanks!
When it comes to the fixed cost, will I still be able to choose different prices (member/non-member) within the same resource?
Yes, you can. Please test it in live demos.
I'm trying to determine which level I need to purchase and if this plugin will work for me.
I need to set this up for a golf course to reserve booking tee times.
It needs to be able to allow the user to select pre-determined 10 minute timeslots, and then choose how many players will be teeing off in that time slot (up to 4 players) and then charge a specific amount per player ($10). I will then need to collect payment for that online at the time of booking.
Will this plugin work for me and if so, which one will I need?
Thank you
Hello.
Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several reservations per the same timeslot at same date, so its not possible in any versions of Booking Calendar. Please check my suggestion bellow about that.
At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.
Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.
At the Booking Calendar Business Large version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it’s mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.
Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
------------------------
Suggestion! I can suggest that you can create the booking resource with specific capacity for the each of your times and then have the independent own calendar for the each of your time slot for the reservation. Its mean that your visitors firstly, need to select the times in the selectbox, and only after that select the date and fill the booking form. Its can be look like this: https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource-2/

I thougt i could change that here ->
Default calendar view mode:
Day
Week
Month
2 Months
3 Months
Year
Select your default calendar view mode at booking calendar overview page
But it only allows me to use either "Day","Week","2 month" the rest is in grey!

Hello.
the setting "Default calendar view mode" in the General Booking Settings page is depend from the selection of the "Default booking resource" option.
If you will select for the "Default booking resource" > "All resources" option, so then for the "Default calendar view mode" you can set Day, Week, Month or 2 Month options.
If you will select for the "Default booking resource" specific exist one booking resource, so then for the "Default calendar view mode" you can set Month, 3 Months and Year option.
Kind regards.
I'm trying to determine if this plugin will work for my business.
Residential Cleaning Service
The customer would enter their Name/Email/Phone/Address
then a drop down with type of service (1 bedroom appt - $300, 2 bedroom appt - $450, etc.)
then a checkbox for extras (Inside cabinets - $20, Inside Oven - $20, etc.)
Lastly choose their date/time. The times would be time slots (8:00 - 10:00, 10:00 - 12:00, etc)
Then they book and we take payment through paypal.
Also, can you integrate with Stripe?
Hello.
The Booking Calendar have the standard workflow process, where visitors firstly can select the date(s) of booking for the specific resource (apartment) and then fill the booking form and make the payment.
You are need to check the Business Medium

Firstly you are need to create the booking resource(s) for your cleaning service at the Booking > Resources page. Then configure the form fields at the Settings > Fields page. And after that configure the additional cost, which is depend from the selection of the options in checkboxes and selectboxes at the Resoures > Advanced cost page.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal(Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations. Stripe is not supported yet. Sorry.
Please test it at the live demo here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/
