I wonder if this is possible- I need to set up my calendar so that Saturday is only bookable every second week-
For Example;
Saturday 1st - AVAILABLE
Saturday 8th - NOT AVAILABLE
Saturday 15th - AVAILABLE
Saturday 22nd - NOT AVAILABLE.
And so on....
Is this possible using a conditional day range??
Latest WP, latest Booking Calendar Buisiness Medium.
Thanks
Hello.
If you will use the "conditional day range" filter setup at the Booking > Resources > Filters page, so its not possible to make such configuration.
But you can define these days, using standard days selection filter at the Booking > Resources > Filters page and then set availability for it at the Booking > Resources > Availability page.
Hi!
Great plugin. I am using the free version right now, but may upgrade later.
My client has very simple needs. He has one vacation house that rents for months at a time.
In Add Booking, how can he fill the calendar by the week or month, instead of clicking every single day?
Is there a shift>control keystroke to allow the filling in of mulitiple days more quickly?
And is this possible on the front end calendar.
Please advise, thanks.
Hello.
This feature is available at the Booking Calendar Business Small and higher versions.
You are need to open the General Booking Settings page and activate the "range days selection" mode using 2 mouse clicks. So you can select the dates clicking only at the check in and check out dates, and all middle dates will be selected automatically.
You can test how its work in the Booking Calendar Business Medium live demo here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/
I am presently also using FlipKey to publish my rental to TripAdvisor. There is a capability on that site to link to an external calendar, which I'd like to do, thus making my WP Calendar the source of truth for all bookings. What URL should I provide to FlipKey to access the WP Calendar as its source?
Thanks.
Hello.
Unfortunately, the Booking Calendar is not support integrations with FlipKey, yet.
The Booking Calendar is define the booking dates inside of the JavaScript variables before the Calendar is loading, so its not just simple link to the list of booking data. Sorry.
We will add this feature in the future updates.
Kind regards.
Im opening a new ticket on this one:
I have some issues with editing a booking.
When our members want to edit their booking they are sent back to the original booking form with total cost and the "pay now with paypal"-button. Is there a way to disable this button in the edit booking form and not to have the price listed? I want to replace it with a "confirm your edit" button and have the user redirected to the main page or something like that, wouldnt that be more logic?
Hello.
Yes, its have a sense. I will add this item to the todo list for the future updates.
Kind regards.
Awesome! Looking forward to it 🙂
I've configured a booking calendar to use Authorize.net for payment. When ever the authorize.net payment page is displayed, all of the fields are defaulted to what was entered for the first name. How do you configure the page to default all of the fields on the authorize.net payment page with the corresponding fields that were entered in the booking form? You can see the form at https://t9eranch.c5demo.com/hunting/book-a-hunt/
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello.
You can configure it at he Booking > Settings > Payment page at the "Billing form fields" tab.
Kind regards.
Thanks
hi i want to add booking from the admin side the booking form ifs there but the calender insist HELP
Hello.
Sorry, I am not sure that understood your question. Can you explain it more detail ?
Thank you.
Hi,
I know that this question asked by many users, but I want to disable or exclude the parent resource.
Is this possible to achieve this or provide me a workround?
Thank you
I'm using multi user calendar version
Hello.
I am not sure that clearly understood the question.
If you mean the possibility to make the booking(s) for the parent resource but store this booking in the "child resources", even if the parent resource is available, so its not possible. Sorry.
If you are mean do not use the "parent resources" at all, so you can just create new resources at the Booking > Resources page and select the "parent resource" as "-"
Hello,
I use 9.Business.Large.SingleSite.5.0.2. If I (as an administrator) update an existing booking, on sending the form is not checking for another existing booking for the same time and this is causing confusion. Here an example. There is an booking with Start Time 4:00 pm and Duration Time: 1 hour, so End Time is 5:00 pm. Also, there is second booking with Start Time 5:00 pm and Duration Time: 1 hour, so End Time is 6:00 pm. The two bookings are on the same date.
As an user If try to book a new booking on the same date and select already booked time, no problem - appears an warning message - "Start Time is invalid. The date or time may be booked, or already in the past! Please choose another date or time."
But if I do this as admin, the booking have updated without check for already booked at this hour.
In the example above. As admin I can update the second booking and can change the Start Time to 4:30 pm, but then these bookings have overlapped with their next bookings. The first is starting in 4:00 pm and end in 5:00 pm The second is starting in 4:30 pm and end in 5:30 pm. It's not acceptable :).
Hello.
This feature was implemented in one of the latest updates of Booking Calendar, by requests of other users of this plugin. SO its more feature than a bug.
If you want to rollback in the admin panel the checking of the booked times so please make this small fix:
please open this file: ../booking/inc/js/personal.js
find this code:
function is_this_time_selections_not_available(bk_type, form_elements ) {
if (location.href.indexOf('wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-reservation')>0) return false; //Skip this checking if we are in the Admin panel at Add booking page
and replace it to this code:
function is_this_time_selections_not_available(bk_type, form_elements ) {
// if (location.href.indexOf('wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-reservation')>0) return false; //Skip this checking if we are in the Admin panel at Add booking page
Thank you very much!
Our booking settings are as below. Duration Time:
[select durationtime "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "02:30" "03:00" ]
The cost configuration:
Set the cost: for 1 hour
Is it possible to automatically add an extra 30 minutes to each booking, as those 30 minutes will not be charged?
I mean if an user select "Start Time: 10:00 am" and Duration Time: "01:30" will be charged for "01:30", but on the calendar the "Booked Times" will be visible as "10:00 am - 12:00 am" not "10:00 am - 11:30 am".
If need, I could edit the plugin's code 🙂
Hello.
Sorry, its not possible in the actual versions.
Its possible to show the different Titles of the options selections in the Time Duration selections (just use the titles different from the values, during generation of this shortcode in the form fields generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page),
but its not possible to show the different time(s), then its was booking in mouse over tooltip. Sorry.
Hello
If you are need to add new field to the booking form, so you can make it at the Booking > Settings > Fields page in the Booking Form (at the paid versions of Booking Calendar).
You will be also need to add the relative shortcode for this field into the Content of Booking Fields on Booking > Settings > Fields page.
Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

{select-day condition="weekday" for="5" value="3"}']
2) You can generate the showing the selected days of calendar in the booking form, or the cost of the final in the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions. Please test it at the live demos of those versions. For doing this configuration, please open the Booking > Settings > Fields page in admin panel and at the right side of that page in the shortcode generator, please select the "hints section" for checking, what shortcodes are available.
Kind regards.
