  1. Good evening
    We have a little problem we use 9.business.large.singlesite.5.0.3 together with wordpress 3.7.1 the problem is when i try to make a new page and i like to make the shortcode
    for the bookingscalender with the bookingsicon the screen is opening but there comes a layer over and i can do nothing.when i go back to wordpress 3.5 it is working. Is there maby a conflict some where.

    • Hello.
      the Booking Calendar 5.0.3 is support WP 3.7.1 and that "insertion button" have to work fine there. Please open that page, then clear the browser cache and try to insert it again.
      If its not help, please try to deactivate one by on your active plugins and recheck if its not help or not, just need to find the reason of this issue.

  2. I have a website for a homeowners association. They need a way for a homeowner to reserve the Clubhouse. A person needs to look at a calendar to check availability, and then submit a form to request the reservation and then receive a confirmation. There is no need for a money transaction. I need to be able to customize the reservation form.
    Can your application be set up on a WordPress site to perform this task?

    • Hello.
      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations, other payment systems integrations are not supported, yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      If you want to make the integrations of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how is integrated the Payment system (on the example) of the PayPal system at this file:../booking/inc/payments/paypal.php . You will be need to create your file with similar structure in that folder. Also you are need to include the calling of your file into this file: ../booking/inc/payments/index.php in the same way, as it was done for the other 3 payment systems.

      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

  4. *SEVERAL RANGE DAY SELECTIONS*
    Hi there!
    I am using Business Small version, and using javascript have done different calender functions on different resources, suchs multiple days on one, and 7 range days starting on different days on other. Now my clients ask for a multiple range day selction - is this possible?

    This is the deal:
    Now the resource is set up with 7 range days starting saturday. But if i choose ie start day sat 7 dec and wanna add the next week too (clicking sat 14 dec), it switches to the next week. Is it possible, using javascript customization, to add another selectrion of range days in the same booking. And if so, how?

    This is my script for this resource so far:

      I think you are just need to use instead of the range days selection using 1 mouse click the range days selection using the 2 mouse clicks, (and set the minimum number of days selection as 7). Please recheck the configuration instruction about the range days selection using 2 mouse clicks.
      Or do you mean something else ?

      • Thank you, i have doen some tests now. 
        One click or two is not really important, the main thing is i want to be able to book several whole weeks in one booking. Still not sure this is possible. 

        From instruction on this page (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/) i have tried to tweak my function to be dynamic, with 7 days min, starting saturday, and only beeing able to select 1 week a time (7days). In this example I tried setting the max to 70 day/10 weeks even though i think maybe 5 will not be availible in the live version.  I would hope this is the right code for my mission:
          bk_days_selection_mode    = 'dynamic';
           bk_2clicks_mode_days_min       = 7;    // Min. Number of days selection with 2 mouse clicks
           bk_2clicks_mode_days_max       = 70;   // Max. Number of days selection with 2 mouse clicks

    • Hello.
      Please recheck your page for the any JavaScript errors, if these errors are exist please try to fix them. You can check the troubleshooting instruction about the common issues at the FAQ https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
      If its not help, please try to deactivate on by one your active other plugins, just recheck if some plugins is make this conflict or not.

  6. Hi, Does this plugin allow for multiple appointments such as a Gym Glass where up to 20 people could attend?

    • Hello.
      Because you are need to have the several bookings for the same full date, so please check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). At this version is possible to setcapacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of thebooking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULLdate, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in DB, but not play any logic in reservation).
      Please test all these in the live demos.

  7. Hi
    I am trying to set up a page for a client that has 3 resources that can be booked.
    I would like to have the calendars for all three resources (rooms) visible, and so I have set up three [bookingcalendar] shortcodes to display these.
    Booking would then be done via the below shortcode.
    [bookingselect label='Vælg lokale' nummonths=1 type='5,6,7']
    When I then choose a resource (a room), the text "Calendar is loading..." appears, but nothing more happens. I get three "unexpected identifiers" errors in the debug console.
    Is there some way to display availability calendars at the same time as a booking calendar?

  8. Hello, 
    My calendar has been functioning fine until a couple of days ago, when the CAPTCHA-system sort of broke. Guests can't see the captcha code when filling in the booking form and thus can't make a booking request. I tried deactivating the captcha-verification but the text field is still there with a broken image symbol next to it. If you leave it blank it says the security code is incorrect. Tried hard-refresh on pages, still nothing. 
    You can still make a booking as admin from the settings panel.

  9. Do you offer a tutorial / guide on how to set up different rates for different seasons in the booking calendar? I have 18 different properties that i rent out. Each property has 3-4 different rates based on season and/or times of the year. How do I get integrate all of those rates into one calendar so that the correct rate shows for specific dates? Please advise.

    • Hello.
      Please note, you can configure the rates only for the dates not the times.
      The configuration of the rates is simple procedure.
      Firstly you are need to define the dates (which have the different costs - rates) as season filters. You can make it at the Booking > Resources > Filters page (by the way you can configure it as simple selection of the specific days, or based on conditional logic (for example each Weekend of Winter)).

      Now you can assign the different rates (cost) for the specific booking resources. Please open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page, then click on the "Rate" button near specific booking resource (you can even assign the rates for the several booking resources, at once - you are need to select the several booking resources (set checked checkbox at the left side of resource and then click on rate button).
      Now, you are need to activate the specific rate (set checked checkbox at the left side of specific season filter) and set the cost at specific field.
      Update the settings and you can test it.
      You can check these configurations in the live demo of Booking Calendar Business Medium version.

        My next question is how do i edit the booking calendar? Almost all of my properties already have future dates booked and I need to block out those dates in the calendar and show them as unavailable. Please advise.

        • If you are need to block the specific dates in the calendar, so you can do it in 2 simple steps.
          1) Create the season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page (as in previous my reply).
          2) Set the specific season filter as "unavailable days" for the specific booking resources at the Booking > Resources page.

  10. Hi I am interested in purchasing the 'large business version' and had a few questions:
    1) My site requires that those who book a reservation be logged in prior to being allowed to book. Is there a way to do this? It looks like the 'multi-user' version is more for different types of owners who manage resources rather than the front end clients.
    2) For one resource I have multiple slots available for a certain day. However, I need to distinguish the type of slots by category and price, so for a given day 5 slots might be available but 2 are for red and 3 are for blue. Would I have to create additional resources for red and blue?
    3) Is there a way for a front end user to search by something other than date? For example, geographic area or keyword?

      1) You can insert the booking form(s) into the password protected pages and inform this password only to your registered wordpress users.
      2) Unfortunately, its seems that its not possible. Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
      3) You can configure the search forms at the Booking > Settings > Search page.

      For possibility to use the custom form fields from the post or page, where you are inserted the booking forms, like these,

      - property_ab (this is some parameter)
      - property_ac (number of beds)
      - property_ad (square meters)
      - ... etc...

      as parameters in the search form, which will apply to the search results, you are need to have these parameters in this format (names of the custom forms have to start from "booking_" terms):

      - booking_property_ab (this is some parameter)
      - booking_property_ac (number of beds)
      - booking_property_ad (square meters)

      Then inside of the search form you are need to have the selections like this:

      Number of beds: <select id="booking_property_ac" name="tag"> <option value="1">1</option> <option value="2">2</option> </select>
