Hello,
Is there a roadmap concerning the direct credit card payment ?
I'm very interested by your product but this point is essential for my customer.
Thank you.
David in France
Hello.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal(Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. Booking Calendar is not support the direct credit card payments. Sorry.
If you want to make the integrations of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how is integrated the Payment system (on the example) of the PayPal system at this file:../booking/inc/payments/paypal.php . You will be need to create your file with similar structure in that folder. Also you are need to include the calling of your file into this file: ../booking/inc/payments/index.php in the same way, as it was done for the other 3 payment systems.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
Kind regards.
Hello,
I understand it is possible for a user to change his appointment from the generated URL sent to his email. I have two questions:
1) Is there a shortcode (or some other way) where I can have a page which lists all of a users appointments?
2) When a booking is changed, I would have expected the same to go from approved status back to unapproved status... especially if the date has changed. But I don't see this happening? I can't find a setting for this, is it an option?
On a separate point, I am using the MultiUser version of WPBC and I want to be able to change the email templates for all my users. So lets say I create ten users each with their own calendar. They will not have access to settings/resources (I maintain this), so if I change an email template as a superuser I would like these email templates to be updated for all users. Is this possible?
Additionally, is there anyway for me as a super user to "impersonate" a regular user? Since, in fact, they have their own configuration when they log in.
Thanks! Alot more questions on the way : P
Hello.
1) Sorry, such type of listing is not supported in the actual versions, yet.
2) when the booking is changed by specific user only the email about the modifications of the booking is sending, but the status of the booking is not changed. I will add it to the todo list.
3) Unfortunately the booking super booking admin can not change the email templates of the "regular users" or log in "as regular user" to change the settings of this regular user. This features are in our todo list for the future updates.
In the actual version, for possibility to change the email template or form fields of the "regular user" you are need to log in as this regular user.
Kind regards.
Subject: Inputting historical booking data
Is it possible to input booking data before the current date? As I am looking to migrate from a custom-made legacy booking system to your plugin in WordPress, I am hoping I can input the data manually into BookingCalendar so I can make query regarding previous bookings.
WordPress: 3.8
PHP: Shared hosting PHP (5.3.3)
Booking Calendar: 5.0 Business Small
Hello.
For possibility to make the bookings for the past days at the Booking > Add booking page in your admin panel, please make this fix.
Please open this file ../booking/js/wpdev.bk.js
then find this code:
if ( (location.href.indexOf('wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-reservation') != -1 ) &&
(location.href.indexOf('booking_hash') != -1 ) ) {
is_this_admin = true;
bkMinDate = null;
bkMaxDate = null;
}
and replace it to this code:
if ( (location.href.indexOf('wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-reservation') != -1 ) ){
is_this_admin = true;
bkMinDate = null;
bkMaxDate = null;
}
Then refresh the browser cache and try to test again.
Kind regards.
Works like a charm! Thanks!
Hi,
I'm trying to create a calendar using my theme's own shortcodes. Paritcularly to add tabs, see the last line in the snippet below. However, when I render this the shortcode is not interpreted. Is there any way to execute shortcodes on custom calendar templates which belong to the theme?
Thanks
I am using Version: 9.Business.Medium.MultiSite.4.0.1 with a release date of 05.11.2012. It never used to be like this and I was wondering if anything has changed. You attention will be appreciated.

Hi,
I am using the Business Large version and everything works fine. I just have a question, when you create a booking thorugh the backend system, is it somehow possible to implement a payment redirect to PayPal?
Right now, there is only the PayPal redirect when bookings are made through the frontend of the page.
Best regards,
Max
Hello.
Its was done intentionally by requests of other customers.
If you want to show the payment form at the Booking > Add booking page in admin panel, so please make this fix.
Please open this file ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-ajax.php
then find this code:
if ( strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'],'wp-admin/admin.php?') ===false ) {
do_action('wpdev_new_booking',$booking_id, $bktype, str_replace('|',',',$dates), array($start_time, $end_time ) ,$formdata );
}
and replace it to this code:
// if ( strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'],'wp-admin/admin.php?') ===false ) {
do_action('wpdev_new_booking',$booking_id, $bktype, str_replace('|',',',$dates), array($start_time, $end_time ) ,$formdata );
// }
I have the paid version.
I use the booking Form widget on a side bar.
When I receive a submitted form, in the email from field I see: Booking... and then MY EMAIL ADDRESS.
If I try to simply email a Reply, it god to ME. I'd like the reply to go to the person who submitted the form. But now I have to cut and paste his email address from inside the form submission.
Is there a way to automate so that he booking submission is from the sender?
Thankyou

Hi, are there any access statistics for the booking calanedar available (how often accessed, where did the user leave, etc..)?
I just found the implementation for Google Analytics at the "Thank you.." page which is definitly not enough.
Best regards,
Max
Hello.

Hello,
I am evaluating the Booking Calendar for our marina, it looks very promising and we are excited about implementing the plug in. We do have a question though. Is a portal available for the marina manager that does not require wordpress "admin" access? In other words, we would like the manager to be able to monitor and manage the reservations, but not any of the back end to the website functions?
Thanks in advance for your time
Cheers
Jim
Hello.
The listing and managing the bookings of the booking calendar is possible only in the admin panel. But you can set the specific rights to the user (of your manager) so she can access only to the specific booking calendar menu pages ( for example only to the booking listing, but not to the settings). You can set this restrictions at the general booking settings page at right side of that page.
In the same way is configured the live demos of the booking calendar, so please retest them to be sure in functionality.
Kind regard.
Hi!
I'm on the free version and I would like to know if you can edit the calendar ... ie I would like to add the contact form above the calendar .. as I can edit it?

You can define the structure of the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please test it at the live demo.

What version number of booking calendar do you use? In the new updates (since 5.0) are possible to set in the email template in the field From the email of the visitor who made the booking, using this shortcode: [visitoremail]
You can check how it's done at the live demo here https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-option&tab=email
If you are using the old version, you can request the new update at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
