Hello,
When looking at the page:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking&tab=filter&view_days_num=30&tab_cvm=actions_cvm&scroll_month=0&wh_booking_type=13&view_mode=vm_listing
When logged in as an administrator, the tooltips/over hints or the icons on the right of a booking "edit, comments, change resource, approve, delete, payment status" are showing which is great.
However, when logged in viewing the same page as another allowed role, e.g. editor the tooltips/hints don't show?
We have set Check this box if you want to show help hints on the admin panel. = True
We also have the "User permissions for plugin menus" page on the settings page set to:
Bookings: menu page = Editor
Add booking: access level = Editor
Resources: access level = Editor
Can we get them showing for other roles as well as Administrator?
Hello.
Its strange, in the actual version, these icons must to show for the any user role.
Did you make any customization of the source relative to this changes?
Please recheck your page also for the any JavaScript errors, and if they exist , please try to fix them.
At least please try to update to the latest version of Booking Calendar. You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
I can confirm the problem occurs only when "use Google libraries" is activated (observed on Firefox as an "Editor"). I assume there is no workaround so I will need to disable Use Google Libraries?
Hello.
If it's fix an issue, so yes, please deactivate them.
Kind regards.
I have bookings set up to auto-approve, and when people make a booking, they receive an email. The code for that email is: Your booking [bookingtype] for: [dates] has been approved.<br/><br/>[content]<br/><br/>You can edit this booking on this page: <a href="[visitorbookingediturl]">here</a> <br/><br/> You can cancel this booking on this page: <a href=[visitorbookingcancelurl]">here</a> <br/><br/> . Thank you, STC Australia<br/>[siteurl]
However, when anyone clicks the link for edit booking or cancel booking from that email, it takes them to a 404 error. I have no idea how to fix this and didn't readily see a solution in FAQs. Thanks for your help getting this fixed!

Hi
We have been using your Booking Calendar Version 4.1.4 on on a clients site for successfully for a couple of months now and it works very well.
We have set it up to display a title in the calendar and backend which works but if a user books a multiple day booking the first date only displays "14:00..." on the calendar. Is there any way of display more information like name and title. They appear perfectly after the second date.
Thanks for your help
Barry
Hello.
1) If you wan to book specific timeslots in several days and not use the selected time in booking form as check in/out time for the range of days, so then you are need to activate this feature: "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" on the General Booking Settings page in admin panel at "Calendar" section.
2) You can only activate to show the info about, who is made the booking for the specific timeslot in version update 5.0 or newer by making this customization.
But please note this feature can impact to the performance, so we do not recommend to activate it.
If you are still want to activate it,so please open this file: ../booking/wpdev-booking.php find this code:
if (!defined('WP_BK_SHOW_INFO_IN_FORM')) define('WP_BK_SHOW_INFO_IN_FORM', false ); // This feature can impact to the performace
and replace to this code:
if (!defined('WP_BK_SHOW_INFO_IN_FORM')) define('WP_BK_SHOW_INFO_IN_FORM', true); // This feature can impact to the performace
I am testing the free version and the resource configuration page does not appear at all under the Booking menu. Is that an installation problem?
Hello.
The free version of Booking Calendar is support only 1 (default) booking resource, that's why the resources menu in admin panel in the free version is not exist.
The multiple booking resources are supported in the any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
Kind regard.
Hello,
I’m using en small business version 5.0,I have two cottage. I rent the weekend and the week with a fixed cost with 3 different seasons. the problem when I rented a weekend everything is ok price is good, but if you chose a week, he applies the same rate as for the weekend. this is not normal. I check all season, cost, availability.
thank you
Hello.
If you are using the settings cost as rates for the specific seasons, so please recheck that you activated the specific rates for your season filters. The checkboxes at the left side near season filters must be checked.
Kind regards.
Hello.
I express myself badly. for a resource, I have 2 group with 3 different seasons. one for the parametered weekend (only fri, sat, sun) and one for the week. Example weekend date 03.07.2014 in 03.09.2014 and the week 03.07.2014 of 3/15/2014. when I look on the calendar the price remains the same. The checkboxes at the left side near season as filters be checked is good. Do you have a solution and that it works, I tried several times with day, night nothing seems to work.
Hello.
Please note, if you are using the season filters together with "Valuation days" cost settings and select the several days from the different seasons so then the cost will not calculate correctly. The warning about this situation you can find at the "valuation days" cost settings page.
If you are using only the "Rates" for the season filters, so its must to work correctly. So if you are set the rate for the weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) as 100 USD, so then if you select this 3 days the cost of the booking will be 300.
If you are set the cost per week day (Mon-Thu) as 50 USD and select this 4 days so then the cost of this booking must be 50*4=200
If you select the entire week (7 days) so then the cost have to be 50*4+3*100=500.
If you are have different cost calculation table, so please explain it more detail. Also please send the screenshots of your "Rates" cost settings at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page and link to the page with this booking form. Please send this info to this email: support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Kind regards.
I installed "Booking Calendar" on one rental website I created and then Duplicated the website to use for a different rental website. I am testing the plug-in through the website (www.groundsquirrelrentals.com) and booking notifications/emails I am receiving has the original companys name (Hard Slate Cove). I cannot find where I can change this. I even deleted the plug-in and reinstalled. It ended up saving all my settings and not fixing the company name. Any suggestions? TIA!
Hello.
The possibility to customize (change ) the email templates is possible at the any paid versions of booking calendar at the Settings > Emails page.
If you using the free version and just transfer the booking data without the correct the initial activation of the plugin (please check how correctly update/install the plugin at the top of help menu page of this website), so then of course its saved the previous data from the old website. To change that content in your email, you are need to open the wp_options table in your DB, using the phpMyAdmin or some other DB editing tools. Then you are need to find this option row "booking_email_reservation_content" and change in content of "value" field your text.
Kind regards
Thank you. I'll give it a try.
I'm running v 5.0.4 on my WordPress installation right now.
When I display the bookings page, I'm trying to test by clicking on a date to book, but clicking on the date does nothing. It changes when I mouse-over from light grey to dark, but it doesn't do anything when clicked. Help!
Hello.
Did you insert the booking form instead if of only availability calendar ? Because in the last variant it's not possible to select days.
Also please recheck your page for the any JavaScript errors, and if some error exist, please try to fix them.
One of possible error is that you disabled the bootstrap library to load at the client side of your website. You can recheck it at the general booking settings page in the main section (you are need to expand the advanced JavaScript link), you are need to have the both checkboxes unchecked there.
If you are still will have this issue, please try to deactivate one by one your active plugins and recheck if its help or not. If its not help, please try to deactivate the actual them and activate the default wordpress theme. Need to find the reason why the calendar is not showing.
If you are still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with that booking form.

Hello.
It's seems that you configured the edit booking link in a wrong way. Please check how to configure it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/
